Abstract

Writing implement which has a supply device provided with a tip with a ball which can rotate and which is coupled to a reservoir containing water-based ink. This supply device has, on the outside, longitudinal cups and channels which form the inlet for air to the ink reservoir and, on the inside, a smooth-walled axial hole which accommodates a rod made from plastic material which is in contact via its outer surface with the wall of the hole. Said rod has, on the outside, longitudinal channels of constant section and with a height or width approximately equal to one tenth of a millimetre, via which the ink passes by capillary effect from the reservoir to the end ball.
