Abstract

Enmienda mineral de magnesio y azufre y un procedimiento para su preparación.La enmienda mineral, a base de sulfato magnésico, comprende 10-30% de MgO total, 12-30% de MgO soluble en agua y 30-50% de azufre (SO{sub,3 ) y, preferentemente, se encuentra en forma de granulado. La enmienda puede obtenerse solubilizandocon ácido sulfúrico una mezcla que contiene magnesio, formada por productos procedentes de la extracción y procesado dela magnesita, tales como polvo de ciclones, hidróxido de magnesio y carbonato cálcico magnésico. La enmienda es capaz de aportar magnesio a los suelos, cultivos y praderas que lonecesiten.
