UN CATALIZADOR SOPORTADO PARA LA (CO)POLIMERIZACION DE ALFAOLEFINAS SE OBTIENE MEDIANTE LA PUESTA EN CONTACTO DE LOS SIGUIENTES PRODUCTOS ENTRE SI: (A) UN DERIVADO DE METALOCENO DE UN METAL SELECCIONADO DEL GRUPO QUE CONSTA DE METALES DE TRANSICION Y LANTANIDOS, EL CUAL ES EN SI MISMO CAPAZ DE PROMOVER LA POLIMERIZACION DE ALFA-OLEFINAS EN PRESENCIA O TAMBIEN SIN ACTIVADORES ADECUADOS; (B) UN SOPORTE ACTIVO QUE CONTIENE MAGNESIO, HALOGENO, TITANIO Y CANTIDADES MAS PEQUEÑAS DE ESTAÑO; (C) UN DERIVADO DE ORGANOMETAL DE ALUMINIO DEL CUAL AL MENOS EL 50% DE LOS ATOMOS DE ALUMINIO ESTAN UNIDOS A AL MENOS UN ATOMO DE CARBONO DE ALQUILO. LOS COMPONENTES (A) Y (B) OBRAN RECIPROCAMENTE PREFERIBLEMENTE PRIMERO PARA OBTENER UN DERIVADO SOPORTADO DE METALOCENO, EL CUAL ES A CONTINUACION PUESTO EN CONTACTO CON (C) PARA OBTENER EL CATALIZADOR DESEADO. ALTERNATIVAMENTE, (B) Y (C) OBRAN RECIPROCAMENTE Y POSTERIORMENTE SON PUESTOS EN CONTACTO CON (A).
