EL PROCESO INCLUYE LA ADICION AL EFLUENTE DE UNA SOLUCION DE CARBONATO ALCALINO Y CAUSTICOS ALCALINOS PARA OBTENER LA PRECIPITACION POR NEUTRALIZACION DE LOS METALES ZINC, PLOMO, CADMIO, COBRE, ARSENICO, SELENIO Y TELURIO. A CONTINUACION SE AÑADE UNA SOLUCION SULFUROSA PARA PRECIPITAR EL TALIO Y EL PRECIPITADO OBTENIDO SE SEPARA INMEDIATAMENTE DEL AGUA RESIDUAL.
