EL SEGURO DE LA TAPA TIENE UNA PIEZA DE ENCLAVAMIENTO MOVIL POR LA PRESION EN LA OLLA QUE, CUANDO EXISTE UNA PRESION PREDETERMINADA, SE ENCUENTRA EN UNA SUPERFICIE DE TOPE QUE IMPIDE UN GIRO DE LA TAPA CON RESPECTO AL CUERPO DE LA OLLA PARA ABRIR LA OLLA.
