LA ADICION DE DICHA BASE PROVOCA LA CRISTALIZACION DE LA SAL. ESTE PROCESO SUMINISTRA UNA MAYOR EFICIENCIA DE RECUPERACION DE SALES DE ACIDOS ORGANICOS A PARTIR DE UNA CORRIENTE DE UN PROCESO DE FERMENTACION QUE LA CRISTALIZACION ADICIONAL Y PUEDE UTILIZARSE ESENCIALMENTE EN UN PROCESO DE PURIFICACION DE UN SOLO PASO. EL METODO MEJORADO ES ESPECIALMENTE APLICABLE A LA RECUPERACION DE CITRATO DE TRISODIO O DE TRIPOTASIO DE LAS CORRIENTES DE PROCESAMIENTO PRODUCIDAS EN LA FERMENTACION Y RECUPERACION DEL ACIDO CITRICO, CON LA ADICION DE UNA BASE DE CRISTALIZACION TAL COMO HIDROXIDO DE SODIO, CARBONATO DE SODIO, HIDROXIDO DE POTASIO O AMONIACO.
