LA PRESENTE INVENCION SE REFIERE A UN PROCESO PARA EL TRATAMIENTO DE CORRIENTES DE AGUAS RESIDUALES QUE TIENE UN CONTENIDO DE SULFATO SODICO SUPERIOR AL 20 POR CIENTO. EL PROCESO ES UTIL PARA EL TRATAMIENTO DE LAS AGUAS RESIDUALES GENERADAS EN LA PRODUCCION DE POLIETILENIMINA Y CICLOHEXANONA. EL PROCESO CONSISTE EN RETIRAR EL SULFATO SODICO DEL AGUA RESIDUAL (10,12) MEDIANTE LA ADICION DE UN SOLVENTE ORGANICO (14). A CONTINUACION SE SOMETE AL AGUA RESIDUAL CON UN CONTENIDO DE SULFATO SODICO REDUCIDO A UN TRATAMIENTO BIOLOGICO CON BARRO ACTIVADO. PRIMERO SE SOMETE AL AGUA RESIDUAL A UN PRETRATAMIENTO. EL AGUA RESIDUAL PRETRATADA SE COMBINA CON OTRO AGUA RESIDUAL Y SE TRATA MEDIANTE DESNITRIFICACION Y NITRIFICACION.
