SE PRESENTA UN PROCESO PARA LA PREPARACION DE POLIMEROS TIPO ACRILICOS Y DE ESTIRENO QUE SON UTILES EN EL DIMENSIONAMIENTO DEL PAPEL. EL PROCESO CONSISTE EN POLIMERIZAR LOS MONOMEROS EN UNA MEZCLA DE ALCOHOL Y AGUA A LA TEMPERATURA DE REFLUJO ANTE LA PRESENCIA DE UN CATALIZADOR GENERADOR DE RADICAL LIBRE. EL CATALIZADOR SE AÑADE A MODO DE PORCION DURANTE LA REACCION Y EL POLIMERO RESULTANTE SE NEUTRALIZA AL TIEMPO QUE SE SEPARA SUSTANCIALMENTE LA MEZCLA DE ALCOHOL Y DE AGUA Y SE AÑADE AGUA PARA RECUPERAR UN PRODUCTO CON MENOS DE UN 25% DE SOLIDOS DE POLIMERO.
