LA INVENCION SE REFIERE A UN PROCEDIMIENTO PARA EL SECADO EN BARRIL DE RESIDUOS RADIOACTIVAS LIQUIDOS (52) QUE SE CALIENTAN EN EL FUNCIONAMIENTO EN UN DEPOSITO (8) CON UNA CALEFACCION (6). PARA EL LLENADO DE LOS RESIDUOS (52) Y PARA LA EXTRACCION DE LOS VAPORES DESPRENDIDOS SE COLOCA UNA TAPA (40) CON UN AGUJERO CENTRAL (41) SOBRE EL DEPOSITO (8) CONFIGURADO COMO DEPOSITO BLINDADO CON ESPESOR DE PARED (W) RELATIVAMENTE GRANDE. DEL AGUJERO (41) SE RETIRA UN TAPON (67B). SOBRE EL AGUJERO (41) SE ACOPLA ENTONCES UN ADAPTADOR DE LLENADO (5) QUE AJUSTA EN EL DIAMETRO EXTERIOR (D), A TRAVES DEL CUAL TANTO SE INTRODUCEN LOS RESIDUOS (52) COMO TAMBIEN SE EXTRAEN LOS VAPORES DESPRENDIDOS. EL DEPOSITO (8) ES PREFERENTEMENTE UN DEPOSITO DE ALMACENAMIENTO FINAL DE HIERRO FUNDIDO.
