Abstract

Static system of tests for detecting toxic gases with piezoelectric crystals. This is based on the setting up of two piezoelectric sensors inside a test chamber 1, assisted by a vacuum pump 3, a nitrogen cylinder 4, a power supply 2 and a digital multimeter 5, the piezoelectric sensors of this test chamber 1 being associated with or connected to a frequency counter 7 via a duplexer or electronic switch 6 enabling the frequency of the master piezoelectric sensor, the test piezoelectric sensor and the ratio between the two frequencies to be read at any time using the frequency meter 7, this frequency meter 7 in turn being assisted by a printer 8 for recording the readings of this frequency meter at any time.
