SE APLICA VENTAJOSAMENTE EN EL CUADRO DE LOS AMPLIFICADORES DE CONTROL AUTOMATICO DE GANANCIA. SEGUN LA INVENCION, EL CIRCUITO DE MEDIDA DEL NIVEL DE UNA SEÑAL ELECTRICA DE ENTRADA (VE) COMPRENDE UN AMPLIFICADOR DE ENTRADA (1) POLARIZADO A PARTIR DE UNA TENSION DE POLARIZACION QUE RECIBE ESTA SEÑAL DE ENTRADA VE Y QUE PRODUCE UNA SEÑAL DE SALIDA (V SUB S) SEGUIDA DE UN MODULO DE DETECCION (2) QUE A SU VEZ VA SEGUIDO DE UN INTEGRADOR (3) QUE EMITE UNA SEÑAL DE INTEGRACION (V SUB I), CONSTITUYENDO ESTOS TRES ELEMENTOS UNA CADENA DE MEDIDA, SIENDO DICHA SEÑAL DE INTEGRACION LA SUMA DE UNA SEÑAL DE NIVEL PROPORCIONAL AL NIVEL DE DICHA SEÑAL DE ENTRADA (VE) Y DE UNA SEÑAL DE DESFASE.
