PROCESO DE NITRURACION DIRECTA DE METALES CON PUNTO DE FUSION RELATIVAMENTE BAJO MEDIANTE UN GAS NITROGENADA, CARACTERIZADA EN QUE SE MEZCLA UN POLVO DE AL MENOS UNO DE DICHOS METALES CON UN POLVO REFRACTARIO, SE CALIENTA ESTA MEZCLA BAJO ATMOSFERA DE GAS NITROGENADO A PRESION ATMOSFERICA HASTA INICIAR UNA REACCION RAPIDA Y EXOTERMICA DE NITRURACION Y SE DEJA CONTINUAR ESTA REACCION, QUE SE DESARROLLA A UNA TEMPERATURA GENERALMENTE SUPERIOR A LA DE LA FUSION DE DICHOS METALES SIN QUE SE OBSERVE NINGUNA HUELLA DE FUSION APARENTE, HASTA LA CONSUMICION TOTAL DE DICHOS METALES PARA OBTENER UNA MASA SOLIDA MUY POROSA FACIL DE MOLER A BASE DE NITRUROS O DE OXINITRUROS METALICOS.
