LAS DOSIS UNITARIAS CON UNA LIBERACION DE LA SUSTANCIA ACTIVA MUY UNIFORME, ESENCIALMENTE LINEAL Y REPRODUCIBLE UNIFORMEMENTE, SE CONSIGUEN PORQUE EN UN PRIMER PASO DEL PROCEDIMIENTO, LA SUSTANCIA ACTIVA ES TRANSFORMADA EN PARTICULAS, CON UNA FRACCION DE UN ADITIVO QUE INHIBE O COMPENSA SUS PROPIEDADES DE AUTO-RETARDO, DE FORMA QUE LOS MODELADOS QUE SE PREPARAN A PARTIR DE LAS PARTICULAS SIN OTROS ADITIVOS, EN EL QUE EL MARGEN DE PRESION PREVISTO PARA EL PRENSADO DE LAS DOSIS UNITARIAS PRESENTA UNA LIBERACION RAPIDA, EN RELACION A LA LIBERACION RETARDADA DESEADA, Y QUE EN UN SEGUNDO PASO DEL PROCEDIMIENTO, LAS PARTICULAS SON PRENSADAS EN DOSIS UNITARIAS CON UN AGENTE RETARDADOR.
