EL ELECTRODO RECUBIERTO ES ENTONCES TRATADO TERMICAMENTE PARA EXTRAER AL PORTADOR LIQUIDO, DEJANDO UNA CAPA DE MATERIAL MATRICIAL EN LA SUPERFICIE DEL ELECTRODO. ESTE PROCESO DE HUECOGRAVADO HA SIDO UTILIZADO PARA PRODUCIR CAPAS MATRICIALES DE 0,05 A 0,127 MM CON UNIFORMIDAD SATISFACTORIA PARA PROPORCIONAR UN BUEN RENDIMIENTO.
