LOS SOLIDOS SE INTRODUCEN EN EL CENTRO DEL HORNO Y SE DISTRIBUYEN EN PARTES IGUALES TRAS LA COMBUSTION EN LOS REGENERADORES. EN LOS REGENERADORES SE INTRODUCE AIRE DE COMBUSTION QUE SE CALIENTA EN EL REGENERADOR POR LOS SOLIDOS Y VUELVE A CALENTARSE TRAS LA SALIDA DEL REGENERADOR PARA LLEVAR A CABO EL TRATAMIENTO TERMICO. TRAS EL TRATAMIENTO TERMICO, POR EJEMPLO TRAS COMBUSTION DE LOS SOLIDOS CON LOS GASES CALENTADOS SE LLEVAN LOS GASES CALIENTES A OTRO REGENERADOR QUE TRANSMITE SU CALOR A LOS SOLIDOS.
