ESTE PROCEDIMIENTO PERMITE LA TRANSFORMACION DE OXIDOS IMPUROS DE ZINC, EN OXIDOS DE ZINC DE ALTA PUREZA, DESTINANDOSE AL TRATAMIENTO DE LOS DENOMINADOS OXIDOS WAELZ OBTENIDOS EN EL PROCESO PIROMETALURGICO, ESPECIALMENTE EL WAELZ, APLICADO A LOS DENOMINADOS POLVOS VOLANTES DE ACERIAS DE HORNOS ELECTRICOS, COMPRENDE: --LIXIVIACION PREVIA CON AGUA. --LIXIVIACION CON CARBONATO AMONICO EN MEDIO ACUOSO AMONIACAL. --CEMENTACION DE LA LEJIA CLARIFICADA CON POLVO DE ZINC. --PURIFICACION DE LA LEJIA RESIDUAL MEDIANTE LA OXIDACION DEL HIERRO CONTENIDO. --DESTILACION A VACIO DE LA LEJIA PURIFICADA CON DEPRESION. --OPCIONALMENTE, FILTRADO DE LA LEJIA DESTILADA PARA LA SEPARACION DE LA PRIMERA PARTE PRECIPITADA DEL CARBONATO BASICO DE ZN A PRECIPITAR. --SEPARACION SOLIDO-LIQUIDO DEL CARBONATO BASICO PRECIPITADO, DE LA LEJIA DESTILADA. --CALCINACION DEL CARBONATO BASICO. --LIXIVIACION CON AGUA DEL ZNO OBTENIDO.
