Abstract
PURPOSE:To remove impurities present in a copper electrolytic soln. and to obtain high quality electrolytic copper by adding granules of H3SbO4 and H3BiO3 precipitated in a copper electrolytic soln. to the above-mentioned electrolytic soln. as seed crystals so as to accelerate the formation of a precipitate. CONSTITUTION:Granules of H3SbO4 and H3BiO3 precipitated in a copper electrolytic soln. are added to a copper electrolytic soln. of the same kind and the formation of a precipitate is accelerated with the impurity granules as seed crystals. The resulting precipitate is separated by filtration to remove impurities present in the electrolytic soln. When the purified electrolytic soln. is used, high quality electrolytic copper is obtd.
