Abstract

1. Device for transporting goods comprising a rail track arranged in a transport level and elevated with respect to a working level, particularly with a rail track arranged on or in the region of the ceiling of a work area, and with a plurality of trolleys displacable along said rail track in the transport level, whereby said rail track has, at predetermined locations, sections which can be lowered from the transport level into the region of the working level, particularly into the region of the floor of the work area, characterised in that the lengths of these sections (5) of the rail track (3) equals at least twice the length of a trolley (6) as measured in its travel direction.
