Letzteres ist seinerseits entweder in Wirkstellung, wo es den Laufwagen aufhält, z.B. wenn der Abschnitt 5 abgesenkt ist, oder in Ruhestellung, in der es den Laufwagen auf den Abschnitt 5 einfahren lässt. In diesem Fall ist aber das zweite Arretierorgan 11 in Wirkstellung und stoppt den ankommenden Laufwagen 6, sodass dieser in einem ersten Bereich A des Abschnittes 5 aufgenommen ist. Die Rücklaufsperre 12a verhindert dabei eine ungewollte Rückwärtsbewegung des Laufwagens.

Dort angekommen werden die im Tragkorb 8 enthaltenen Güter be- oder verarbeitet, eventuell auch nur entnommen. Jedenfalls kann dabei das zweite Arretierorgan 11, egal ob vor oder während der Verarbeitung der Güter, gelöst, d.h. in seine Ruhestellung umgestellt werden, wobei darauf zu achten ist, dass das endseitige Arretierorgan 10 in Wirkstellung ist, um ein Ueberfahren des Abschnittes 5 zu vermeiden, wenn der Laufwagen 6 vom Bereich A in den Bereich B bewegt wird.We now assume, for example, that there was no carriage in the waiting position in front of the lowering and lifting station, but that the arriving carriage 6 could move into area A of section 5, as shown in the drawing. Es versteht sich, dass dabei das Arretierorgan 11 in Wirksteiiung verbleibt. Claims (8)

1. Device for transporting goods comprising a rail track arranged in a transport level and elevated with respect to a working level, particularly with a rail track arranged on or in the region of the ceiling of a work area, and with a plurality of trolleys dis- placable along said rail track in the transport level, whereby said rail track has, at predetermined locations, sections which can be lowered from the transport level into the region of the working level, particularly into the region of the floor of the work area, characterised in that the lengths of these sections (5) of the rail track (3) equals at least twice the length of a trolley (6) as measured in its travel direction.
2. Device according to claim 1, characterised in that the lowerable and liftable sections (5) of the rail track (3) are provided, as seen in the travel direction of the trolley (6), with an endsided (10) and at least a second, seen in the travel direction of the runner, therebefore arranged (11) locking member to restrict further movement of the trolley (6) in the section (5).
3. Device according to claim 2, characterised in that said second locking member (11) is arranged at a distance corresponding to the length of the trolley (6) from the endsided locking member (10).
4. Device according to claims 1 and 2 wherein the lowerable and liftable sections (5) of the rail track (3) have n-times the length (n = an integer higher than 2) of the length of a trolley, characterised in that the lowerable and liftable sections (5) are provided with (n-1) additional locking members, arranged in front of the endsided locking member (10), as seen in the travel direction of the trolley, whereby the distance between the endsided and the first locking member and the distances between the first and the (n-1) locking member each correspond to the length of the trolley.
5. Device according to one of the claims 2 to 4, characterised in that the locking members (10, 11) are adjustable from an operative position extending into the path of movement of the trolleys (6) to an inoperative postion remote from this path of movement.
6. Device according to claim 5, characterised in that the second locking member (11) or the (n-1) locking members respectively is/are adjustable independent of the endsidedly arranged locking member (10).
7. Method for operating the device according to one of the claims 1 to 6, characterised in that with a length of the lowerable and liftable section of two trolley lengths, a trolley is accommodated in a first protion of the said section with respect to the travel direction of the trolley, whilst the said lowerable and liftable section is in the transport level, that then the said section of the rail track is lowered to the working level where the trolley is processed, that the trolley is again lifted into the transport level by means of the said lowerable and liftable section, but prior to arriving thereat is moved to a second adjacent portion of the lowerable and liftable section, with respect to the travel direction of the trolley, and that, once the lowerable and liftable section has reached the transport level, at least virtually simultaneously the raised trolley is removed from the second portion of the lowerable and liftable section, and a following trolley is moved to the first mentioned portion.
8. Method for operating the device according to one of the claims 1 to 6, characterised in that with a length of the lowerable and liftable section of n trolley lengths (n = an integer higher than 2) at least one, but maximum (n-1) trolley(s) is/are accommodated in a first portion of the said section, with respect to the travel direction of the trolley(s), whilst the said lowerable and liftable section is in the transport level, that thereafter the said section of the rail track is lowered to the working level, and there the trolley(s) is/are processed, that the trolley(s) is/are again raised by means of the said lowerable and liftable section into the transport level, but prior to arriving thereat displaced into a second portion of the lowerable and liftable section, with respect to the travel direction of the trolley(s), and that after the lowerable and liftable section has arrived at the transport level at least virtually simultaneously the raised trolley(s) is/are removed from the second portion of the lowerable and liftable section and at least one following trolley is moved to the frist mentioned portion.
