Abstract

A heating device that includes a heat-generating unit consisting of a mixture of at least iron oxide dust, copper oxide and trilead tetroxide and silicon dust and/or a silicon-iron alloy, a firing unit placed beside the said heat-generating unit and consisting of a mixture of boron or aluminium dust with at least one [part] of iron oxide dust, copper oxide, barium peroxide and strontium peroxide and an ignition unit that is situated beside the said firing unit and which produces ignition of the latter. This heating device is capable of heating an object easily and quickly without the need to use any external form of heating. It also describes an instantaneous heater that uses the heating device.
