MEJORAS EN O RELATIVAS A LA FABRICACION DE ACRISTALAMIENTOS ANTISOLARES, QUE LLEVAN SILICIURO DE TITANIO (TISI2) COMO CAPA ANTISOLAR PRINCIPAL PARA REDUCIR LA TRANSMISION DE LA RADIACION INFRARROJA PROXIMA Y VISIBLE. EN ALGUNAS REALIZACIONES SE LE APLICA POR ENCIMA UNA CAPA PROTECTORA DE SILICIO U OXIDO METALICO, CON UN GROSOR DE APROXIMADAMENTE 300 ANGSTROMS. LA CAPA PROTECTORA SIRVE PARA PROTEGER EL SILICIURO DE LA OXIDACION DURANTE LOS PROCEDIMIENTOS DE ELABORACION A ELEVADA TEMPERATURA Y AUMENTA LA RESISTENCIA A LA ABRASION DEL ACRISTALAMIENTO. LA IMPORTANCIA PARTICULAR DE LA PELICULA DE SILICIURO DE TITANIO ES QUE PERMITE LA PRODUCCION DE UNA VENTANA QUE ES DE COLOR NEUTRO CUANDO SE VE TANTO EN TRANSMISION COMO EN REFLEXION. ASI SE PUEDE PROPORCIONAR UN PRODUCTO DE ACRISTALADO ANTISOLAR, DE NEUTRALIDAD CROMATICA, DE ALTO RENDIMIENTO, PIROLITICO Y DURADERO.
