SE TRANSMITE ENERGIA INFRARROJA A TRAVES DE LA FIBRA OPTICA. A UNA DISTANCIA PREDETERMINADA DEL EXTREMO DE LA FIBRA OPTICA, PUEDE DISPONERSE UNA PANTALLA DE CONVERSION PARA TRANSFORMAR LA ENERGIA INFRARROJA EMITIDA EN ENERGIA CON UNA LONGITUD DE ONDA MAS CORTA. LA DISTRIBUCION DE ENERGIA PUEDE REGISTRASE CON UN DETECTOR COMPATIBLE CON LA ENERGIA DE LONGITUD DE ONDA MAS CORTA, CON LO CUAL PUEDE CALCULARSE LA ABERTURA NUMERICA A PARTIR DE LOS DATOS REGISTRADOS.
