A UNA DISTANCIA PREDETERMINADA DEL EXTREMO DE LA FIBRA OPTICA, PUEDE DISPONERSE UNA PANTALLA DE CONVERSION PARA TRANSFORMAR LA ENERGIA INFRARROJA EMITIDA EN ENERGIA CON UNA LONGITUD DE ONDA MAS CORTA.
