Aparato acondicionador del gas de escape de motores de combustión interna, adaptado para reducir el contenido de óxido de nitrógeno, hidrocarburo y monóxido de carbono, caracterizado porque el aparato comprende un reactor catalítico formado por una carcasa de reactor catalítico, teniendo una admisión y una salida de gas de escape y teniendo dispuesto en la misma un lecho catalizador de tal modo que dicho gas de escape pase a través de dicho lecho catalizador al pasar desde dicha admisión a la citada salida, estando adaptada dicha admisión de gas de escape para conectarse directamente a una salida de escape de una cámara de combustión de dicho motor, teniendo un reactor no catalítico, formado por una carcasa de reactor no catalítico una lumbrera de entrada y una lumbrera de salida y no teniendo medios suplementarios de ignición, estando dicha salida de gas de escape en comunicación con la citada lumbrera de entrada, estando situado dicho reactor no catalítico en cercana proximidad a dicho reactor catalítico, y medios para inyectar aire en dicho gas de escape entre los citados reactores catalíticos y no catalítico.
