1. Faro para vehículo automóvil con un reflector (1), una bombilla de descarga de gas (2) introducida en una abertura (3) del reflector (1) y sujeta al reflector (1), y un enchufe de contacto (4) sujeto al reflector (1), en el cual se introduce la bombilla de descarga de gas (2) con un casquillo (5), el cual presenta en su extremo libre un contacto central eléctrico (6) y en la superficie lateral un contacto eléctrico anular periférico (7), con una junta (8), la cual forma un aislamiento de alta tensión entre los contactos central (6) y periférico (7), caracterizado porque la función de junta (8) la hace un anillo de junta, dispuesto en una ranura anular (9) del enchufe de contacto (4) que rodea al casquillo (5) de la bombilla de descarga de gas (2) y es estanco circularmente en por lo menos un lado (10,11 ó 12) de la ranura anular (9), y se apoya en la superficie lateral del casquillo (5).
