Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a device, a method for treating process gas from an industrial plant, their use and a system.
  • Process gas from industrial plants can be used as a medium in certain process steps for the manufacture of products in order to bring about certain technical effects such as drying in a process step.
  • the industrial processes are, for example, chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical or solvent-processing processes.
  • the industrial plants are, for example, workpiece processing systems, for example for drying and/or hardening painted and/or coated and/or glued workpieces (e.g. car bodies or body parts, electrodes, membranes, lithium-ion batteries, etc.).
  • the process gas can be treated accordingly before use, for example to adapt the temperature and/or humidity of the process gas for the process step.
  • Conventional devices for treating process gas often contain a condenser, which cools and/or heats a large part of the process gas.
  • a condenser which cools and/or heats a large part of the process gas.
  • warm and humid air can be cooled by condensation and the humidity of the process gas reduced.
  • the temperature of the process gas after the cooling process can be lower than before.
  • the process gas is therefore preferably additionally heated after the cooling process in order to improve the drying properties of the process gas.
  • the use of such a condenser with subsequent heating can cause comparatively high operating and acquisition costs and at the same time have a disadvantageous energy balance.
  • the object of the invention is to provide an improved system for treating process gas from an industrial plant/industrial process, which is economically advantageous and also ensures good treatment of the process gas under Avoidance of overly complex constructions.
  • the object of the invention is to improve the preparation of the process gas of an industrial drying system, preferably a system for drying electrodes, preferably anodes, for capacitors, ultracapacitors or batteries, preferably lithium or sodium-based batteries, which are manufactured or obtained using a solvent-based application process.
  • the solvent can preferably be water.
  • the object of the invention is to be able to supply or provide the process gas to the drying system with properties that are as favorable and/or stable as possible, in particular properties that are at least almost independent of environmental conditions.
  • the device has a main line, wherein a first end of the main line is connected to a process gas outlet of the industrial plant for discharging process gas to be treated from the industrial plant and a second end of the main line is connected to a process gas inlet of the industrial plant for supplying the treated process gas to the industrial plant; and an exhaust gas branch for branching off part of the process gas from the main line into an exhaust gas line, via which part of the process gas can thus be discharged into the environment in the form of exhaust gas.
  • the inventors have found that it can be advantageous for the treatment of process gas to divert part of the process gas into an exhaust line for discharge into the environment and to feed the rest back into the industrial plant via the process gas inlet.
  • the process gas discharged from the industrial plant typically has a high temperature and high humidity.
  • the volume flow in the main line after diversion becomes smaller. Accordingly, the amount of water contained in the process gas per unit of time is also reduced. Since the volume flow discharged through the process gas outlet is greater than the volume flow supplied through the process gas inlet, the difference can be compensated in particular by air flows from the environment which flow separately from the main line into the industrial plant.
  • the air flows from the environment can, in particular under certain circumstances, be cooler and have a lower absolute humidity than the process gas in the main line.
  • the relative humidity of the process gas can be reduced, the ability to absorb moisture increased and, in particular, the drying properties of the process gas improved.
  • the device By branching off part of the process gas from the main line and treating the process gas in this way, the device can be kept technically simple and, in particular, built in a space-saving manner.
  • the use of operating materials such as coolants or cooling water to treat the process gas can therefore be dispensed with.
  • Humidity is preferably understood to mean absolute humidity, e.g. absolute air humidity, whereby relative humidity can be calculated using other gas parameters.
  • Absolute humidity is the mass of water vapor contained in a certain volume. At a certain temperature, for example, there is a maximum absolute air humidity and the air can no longer absorb moisture in this state.
  • Relative humidity expresses the relationship between absolute air humidity and maximum air humidity.
  • a volume flow naturally also means a mass flow, whereby the density can be variable. However, when specifying the volume flow, it is preferred that the density is assumed to be a constant for describing and comparing the volume flow. In this case, the volume flow is therefore proportional to the mass flow.
  • Directional statements such as “after” or “before” generally refer to the direction of flow. For example, the wording "after the unit” or “before the unit” should be understood as “downstream of the unit” or "upstream of the unit”.
  • the "adjustment" of a gas parameter for example a temperature, is to be understood in particular as a direct as well as an indirect controlled manipulation of the gas parameter.
  • the adjustment of a gas parameter can be an increase, a decrease or a holding at any level.
  • the adjustment can generally include regulating or controlling.
  • the device has a fresh gas line arranged downstream of the exhaust gas branch, via which fresh gas, preferably air from the environment, can be fed to the main line.
  • the device also has a mixer for mixing fresh gas from the fresh gas line with the process gas conducted in the main line, the mixer being arranged upstream of the process gas inlet of the industrial plant.
  • the fresh gas line can in particular be arranged downstream of the exhaust gas branch of the main line, fresh gas being fed to the main line after the part of the process gas from the main line is branched off into the exhaust gas line at the exhaust gas branch.
  • Air from the environment of the main line can preferably be supplied through the fresh gas line arranged downstream of the exhaust gas branch.
  • the volume flow of the process gas in the main line downstream of the fresh gas line can be increased.
  • the volume flow of the process gas downstream of the fresh gas line can preferably be adjusted to a volume flow of the process gas through the process gas outlet of the industrial plant. It is particularly preferred if the volume flow can be adjusted so that in the industrial plant, in particular in the areas where the process gas is carried, a predetermined negative pressure compared to an air pressure in the environment of the plant is ensured or can be adjusted.
  • the (natural) gas properties of the fresh gas from the environment can be used to adjust a gas parameter of the process gas.
  • Relevant gas parameters can be in particular temperature, pressure, chemical composition, partial pressures, dew points and/or humidity. If, for example, the temperature of the fresh gas is cooler than the process gas when it leaves the industrial plant, the temperature of the process gas can be reduced after the fresh gas has been supplied and can be adjusted at the same time. If the ambient air also or alternatively has a lower humidity than the process gas when it leaves the industrial plant, the humidity of the process gas in the main line can be reduced and adjusted after the fresh gas has been added. This can have a positive effect on the drying properties of the process gas by adding fresh gas. In particular, the process gas can be conditioned in the main line by adding fresh gas before the process gas is fed to the industrial plant.
  • a process gas flow with homogeneous gas properties can be formed in the main line, in particular a process gas flow with a uniform temperature profile across the flow cross-section.
  • the mixer can in particular comprise a chamber with at least one respective inlet for the fresh and process gas and one outlet, wherein the respective gas jet stream can flow into the chamber, for example with different flow directions, and the fresh gas can mix with the process gas before the now mixed flow is discharged from the chamber into the main line.
  • the mixer can also be a simple pipe section of the main line to which the fresh gas line is connected.
  • the cross-section of the mixer can be designed to be variable in the direction of flow in order to set an advantageous flow rate.
  • the mixer in the area of the incoming fresh gas jet stream, can have a cross-section that increases in the direction of flow of the main line in order to achieve a constant flow rate when exiting the mixer.
  • the mixer can also have a cross-section that narrows in the direction of flow in order to achieve a higher flow rate when exiting the mixer, for example. It is particularly advantageous to minimize the pressure loss through the mixer and at the same time to achieve a flow with uniform gas properties, i.e. a homogeneous flow.
  • the mixer can also have internals for generating a turbulent flow, for example fins, lamellae or vortex generators in general, in order to achieve a homogeneous flow while maintaining a compact design.
  • At least parts of the internals can be designed as passive or as active, in particular actively driven components, in order to promote or ensure the desired mixing of the gas jet streams.
  • the device has a fresh gas line arranged downstream of the exhaust gas branch, through which fresh gas, preferably air from the environment, can be fed to the main line.
  • the device has a unit for conditioning the fresh gas, wherein a gas parameter of the fresh gas, in particular a humidity, can be adjusted.
  • a gas parameter of the process gas in particular a temperature and/or a Humidity can be adjusted by adding fresh gas.
  • the unit can further reduce the humidity of the fresh gas by removing water vapor from the fresh gas. After the fresh gas has been dehumidified, the fresh gas is preferably fed to the main line.
  • the humidity of the process gas in the main line in particular can be further reduced or adjusted more precisely. This would have the advantage, particularly when the humidity of the ambient air serving as the fresh gas changes, that the humidity of the process gas in the main line can be adjusted over a larger humidity range.
  • the unit can in particular be a condenser, whereby the fresh gas is cooled to such an extent that water condenses out of the gas and can be discharged.
  • Conditioning can in particular be humidification or dehumidification or heating or cooling.
  • the unit can therefore be a humidifier or dehumidifier.
  • water can be injected or nebulized into the process gas during conditioning.
  • the unit can also be, for example, an electric heater or a heat exchanger (often also referred to as a heat transfer device). If the unit is a heat exchanger or the unit includes one, this can - without being intended to be exhaustive - be designed, for example, as a gas-gas, in particular as a cross-direct current or cross-countercurrent heat exchanger, but also as a regenerative heat storage device, in particular a heat wheel, preferably a rotating heat wheel (often also referred to as a rotary heat exchanger).
  • heat energy from a first gas flow is temporarily stored on a receiving side in a heat storage element, in particular a heat storage mass, which is then moved in the direction of a discharge side in order to at least partially release the temporarily stored heat energy to a second gas flow, e.g. process gas and/or the fresh gas.
  • a heat storage element in particular a heat storage mass
  • a unit is provided downstream of the exhaust gas branch for conditioning the process gas remaining in the main line after the exhaust gas branch.
  • This unit can preferably be arranged upstream of a supply of fresh gas into the main line.
  • This unit is preferably a humidifier and/or dehumidifier in order to advantageously set the humidity of the process gas to a favorable range before the fresh gas is supplied.
  • the unit can also comprise, have or consist of a heating and/or cooling element, a compression unit, a relaxation stage, a demister and/or an ionization device.
  • at least one gas parameter for example a humidity, temperature, pressure and/or droplet/particle load of the process gas, can be set to a favorable value or value range before the fresh gas is supplied.
  • a favorable value or value range of a gas parameter is understood to mean in particular a value or value range at which the process gas can or does perform its task in the industrial plant well, preferably almost optimally.
  • Setting a gas parameter for example a temperature, can in particular also influence other gas parameters related to the gas, for example a humidity or a pressure. Setting a gas parameter can therefore also include setting several arbitrary, in particular related, gas parameters.
  • the device has a first bypass line through which fresh gas is passed past a unit for conditioning the fresh gas, and/or a first adjustment device, wherein the first adjustment device adjusts a respective volume flow in the first bypass line and/or through the unit.
  • part of the fresh gas originating from the environment and which can be fed to the main line can be passed past the unit for conditioning the fresh gas parallel to the fresh gas line.
  • a branch point can be arranged in front of the unit and thereby divide the fresh gas into two streams, wherein part of the fresh gas is fed to the unit and another part of the fresh gas is passed past the unit.
  • the amount of conditioned fresh gas can thus be reduced or adjusted, even if the unit is operated at an unchanged output.
  • the unit is a dehumidifier
  • less water vapor can be extracted from the fresh gas with the same dehumidification performance of the unit by directing part of the fresh gas past the dehumidifier in the first bypass line. This enables, for example, a precise and/or faster setting of a desired humidity of the fresh gas, especially if the dehumidification performance cannot be increased or decreased quickly or precisely regulated.
  • the unit and the first bypass line can be arranged in a conditioning unit, preferably in a housing.
  • a conditioning unit for example, part of the fresh gas can be passed past a dehumidifier via the first bypass line.
  • the conditioning unit can also be understood as a dehumidifier with an integrated bypass.
  • the first bypass line can in particular be a flow channel, which can, for example, be structurally integrated into the housing of the conditioning unit.
  • the first adjustment device can optionally comprise the following: a first control unit, a first flap for adjusting a respective volume flow, a first sensor for measuring a gas parameter, in particular a humidity, wherein the first sensor is arranged upstream of the unit for conditioning the fresh gas and transmits gas parameter data to the first control unit, which uses the transmitted data for adjusting the flap.
  • the transmission of data, in particular measurement data, by a sensor, such as the first sensor is understood to mean not only an active transmission of data but also a holding of the data ready for retrieval.
  • Sending and/or retrieving data can be implemented by means of line-based, in particular wired, but also wireless communication between the sensor and a unit receiving the data (for example the first control unit).

Description

Vorrichtung und Verfahren zur Behandlung von Prozessgas
Beschreibung
Technisches Gebiet

Das erste Prozessgasbehandlungsverfahren S3a weist folgende Verfahrensschritte auf: S21 : Ausleiten des Prozessgases aus dem Industrieprozess S2;
S41 : Abzweigen von einem Teil des Prozessgases und Abführen des Teils in eine Umgebung;
Das erste Frischgasbehandlungsverfahren S5a weist folgende Verfahrensschritte auf: S32b: Zuführen von Frischluft aus der Umgebung in die Frischgasleitung 51 ;
Das zweite Frischgasbehandlungsverfahren S5b weist folgende Verfahrensschritte auf: S32b: Zuführen von Frischluft aus der Umgebung in die Frischgasleitung 51 ; S7: Einstellen eines Volumenstroms mittels der ersten Einstellvorrichtung 7 zum Entfeuchter 52 bzw. durch die erste Bypass-Leitung 53;
S52: Optionales Entfeuchten von Frischgas mittels Öffnens oder Schließens der ersten Klappe 71 ;
S53: Optionales Führen von Frischgas in der ersten Bypass-Leitung 53 zum Umgehen der Entfeuchtung im Schritt S52 mittels Öffnens oder Schließens der weiteren ersten Klappe 74;
S8: Einstellen eines Volumenstroms mittels der zweiten Einstellvorrichtung 8 zum Wärmetauscher 44 bzw. durch die zweite Bypass-Leitung 56;
S44b: Optionale Übertragung von Wärmeenergie von dem Wärmetauscher 44 an das Frischgas mittels Öffnens oder Schließens der zweiten Klappe 81 ;
S56: Optionales Führen von Frischgas in der zweiten Bypass-Leitung 56 zum Umgehen des Verfahrensschrittes S44b mittels Öffnens oder Schließens der weiteren zweiten Klappe 84, wobei das Frischgas erhitzt wird;
Fig. 4a veranschaulicht ein beispielhaft weiteres von der Vorrichtung aus Fig. 4 durchgeführtes oder durchführbares Verfahren zur Behandlung des aus dem Industrieprozess S2 abgeführten Prozessgases S3b, das erste Abgasbehandlungsverfahren S4a sowie ein drittes Frischgasbehandlungsverfahren S5c. Das Verfahren nach Fig. 4a kann dabei auch mit von Fig. 4 abweichenden Vorrichtungen, vorzugsweise mit zur Ausführung nach Fig. 4 analogen oder analog wirkenden Vorrichtungen ausführbar sein. Das dritte Frischgasbehandlungsverfahren S5c weist folgende Verfahrensschritte auf: S32b: Zuführen von Frischluft aus der Umgebung 32 in die Frischgasleitung 51 ;
S7: Einstellen eines Volumenstroms mittels der ersten Einstellvorrichtung 7 zum Entfeuchter 52 bzw. durch die erste Bypass-Leitung 53;
S52: Entfeuchten von Frischgas;
S8: Einstellen eines Volumenstroms mittels der Regelklappe 85 zum Wärmetauscher bzw. durch die zweite Bypass-Leitung 56;
S44b: Optionale Übertragung von Wärmeenergie von dem Wärmetauscher 44 an das Frischgas mittels der Regelklappe 85;
Das vierte Frischgasbehandlungsverfahren S5d weist folgende Verfahrensschritte auf: S32b: Zuführen von Frischluft aus der Umgebung 32 in die Frischgasleitung 51 ;
S7: Einstellen eines Volumenstroms mittels der ersten Einstellvorrichtung 7 zum Entfeuchter 52 bzw. durch die erste Bypass-Leitung 53; S8: Einstellen eines Volumenstroms mittels der Regelklappe 85 zum Wärmetauscher bzw. durch die zweite Bypass-Leitung 56;
S44b: Optionale Übertragung von Wärmeenergie von dem Wärmetauscher 44 an das Frischgas mittels der Regelklappe 85;
(Fig. 5 entsprechend anpassen)
