Definitions

  • the invention relates to a mobile wound treatment set comprising a band-shaped product for wound care and a housing accommodating the band-shaped product.
  • Wound plasters for smaller "everyday wounds” are available as cuttable strip plasters that can be cut to the right size by the user or as pre-cut plasters, usually individually packaged in blister packs.
  • Cut-to-size plasters are available in various sizes and materials. These are usually individually packaged and sold in folding cardboard boxes and are usually kept at home or in a handbag, rucksack, etc. when on the go. The folding boxes kept in luggage for on the go often get squashed and after a short time no longer look good or are even damaged. Sometimes plasters fall out of the folding box and become crumpled up with their primary packaging or even dirty. In addition, unpacking the individual plasters before use takes a relatively long time because they have to be taken out of the primary packaging and are additionally protected with a masking paper which has to be peeled off.
  • Dispensers in which plasters are stored and can be removed when required are known from the state of the art. Such dispensers are large and are therefore intended for stationary use. They can often be placed on a tripod or mounted on the wall so that the plasters are within easy reach, e.g. in the office, at the workplace or next to a machine. Other versions of such dispensers are designed so heavy that they can be placed on a work surface and dressing material can be pulled out without the dispenser being fixed. or can slip. The dispensers mentioned are not suitable for carrying around in luggage, for example in a handbag or backpack.
  • a dispenser of the aforementioned type is known, for example, from WO 2015/014802 A1, in which pre-proportioned sections of a swab wound up into a roll are provided in a lockable housing. The sections can be removed from the housing through a lockable housing opening.
  • dispenser boxes are designed for stationary use and are not suitable for mobile use.
  • FR 2 696 433 A1 discloses a dispenser for a fixation plaster which can be torn off by hand along a cutting edge without any tools.
  • the fixation plaster does not include a wound pad and is only intended for the fixation of bandages and wound dressings.
  • the housing of the dispenser is open and at least one end of the fixation plaster is exposed and is therefore not protected from contamination.
  • the invention is based on the task of proposing a dispenser that contains dressing material and that can be easily carried in a trouser pocket, handbag or can be taken along in your luggage and at the same time reliably protects the dressing material from contamination and damage.
  • a mobile wound treatment set which comprises a band-shaped product with a carrier material that is adhesively coated and divided into several segments, each segment comprising at least one further layer.
  • the set also comprises a housing which accommodates the band-shaped product and has a removal opening and a tear-off element.
  • the set comprises a closure cap which can be transferred from a first position in which the closure cap closes the housing to a second position in which the housing is open.
  • the volume of a space enclosed by the housing and the closure cap in the first position is less than 500 cm 3.
  • the band-shaped product, the removal opening and the tear-off element are completely enclosed by the housing and the closure cap when the closure cap is in the first position.
  • the wound treatment kit according to the invention enables the band-shaped product to be easily carried along and at the same time ensures that the band-shaped product is protected from contamination and crumpling due to pressure.
  • the housing is closed, i.e. when the closure cap is in the first position and the volume of the enclosed space is less than 500 cm 3 , the wound treatment set can be easily stowed in a trouser pocket, backpack or luggage.
  • the band-shaped product stored in the housing is protected from contamination and damage by the housing and the closure cap in the first position.
  • the housing consists of two housing halves.
  • the two housing halves are pivotally connected to one another via a hinge, in particular a film hinge.
  • the housing can be opened or folded open using these two housing halves and the band-shaped product can be easily removed and reinserted. This ensures that the wound treatment set can be refilled.
  • the fact that the housing can be folded open also makes it easy to clean, in particular by wiping it down, but also by cleaning it in a dishwasher or in a disinfectant bath, for example. After cleaning has been completed or the band-shaped product has been fitted, the two housing halves can be easily put back together. This ensures that it can be reused and the demand for sustainable systems. In addition, costs can be reduced by reusing the housing and the closure cap.
  • the closure cap is connected to the housing in a fixed or detachable manner so as to be pivotable about a pivot axis, preferably via a hinge, e.g. a film hinge, but also a conventional hinge with a pin about which the closure cap can be rotated.
  • a hinge e.g. a film hinge, but also a conventional hinge with a pin about which the closure cap can be rotated.
  • the hinge can be designed differently. If the housing is made of plastic, the closure cap can be connected to the housing in one piece via a film hinge and manufactured together with it.
  • the material of the housing and the cap is, on the one hand, stable enough to withstand external pressure, such as that which can arise when transporting the device in a bag.
  • the material must be sufficiently light so that the wound treatment kit can be carried comfortably.
  • the housing made of injection molding
  • the housing can also be molded as a single piece together with the closure cap using the injection molding process. This enables the housing or the housing with the closure cap to be produced cost-effectively with a small number of manufacturing steps.
  • closure cap should not be considered as part of the housing, regardless of how the housing and closure cap are connected to each other.
  • the closure cap can preferably be secured in the housing in a form-fitting manner, in particular it can be secured in a locking manner. Furthermore, a magnetic connection or a detachable material-sealed connection, e.g. adhesive, can be provided.
  • locking elements can be provided which engage in openings or behind undercuts of the other component. Locking or unlocking can then be provided by elastic deformation of a section of the closure cap which can engage behind an undercut of the housing. Also a clamping connection is used, where the parts are
  • the removal opening is slightly larger than the cross-section of the strip-shaped product. This can ensure that the removal opening enables easy removal of the strip-shaped product, but at the same time the strip-shaped product, which is still in the housing, is protected as best as possible against the ingress of dust.
  • the strip-shaped product can be stored in the housing in roll form. Storing it on a roll inside the housing makes it easier to remove sections of the strip-shaped product. If the strip-shaped product is used up, a new strip-shaped product in roll form can be easily inserted into the housing by a consumer. It is advantageous if the roll of the strip-shaped product is pre-assembled in the correct size and can therefore be inserted into the housing with a perfect fit.
  • a spool on which the strip-shaped product is wound can be provided to stabilize the roll. This ensures that the strip-shaped product in roll form retains its shape and can be manufactured in a simple manner. In addition, the spool makes it easier to insert the strip-shaped product into the housing.
  • the coil can be made entirely or partially from plastic or, preferably, from paper or cardboard. If the coil is made from paper or cardboard, which is preferred, a certain sustainability can be ensured when the wound treatment set is refilled.
  • the band-shaped product in roll form or the band-shaped product on the spool has an external diameter of max. 80 mm, preferably 60 mm and particularly preferably 40 mm. This ensures a small external dimension of the wound treatment set and easy placement of the band-shaped product in the housing.
  • the strip-shaped product in roll form or the strip-shaped product on the spool can have a width of 5 mm to 40 mm, preferably from 10 mm to 35 mm and particularly preferably from 16 mm to 30 mm. This also allows for a small external dimension of the Wound treatment set as well as easy placement of the band-shaped product in the housing.
  • an axis is provided in the housing onto which the strip-shaped product can be attached. It is irrelevant whether the strip-shaped product is in roll form or stored on a spool.
  • the term "volume of the space enclosed by the housing and the closure cap in the first position" is understood to mean the total volume of the wound treatment set. If the closure cap is in the first position, i.e. on the housing, so that the housing together with the closure cap forms an enclosed space, the band-shaped product, the removal opening and the tear-off element are located within the space formed by the closure cap and the housing.
  • the volume of the space enclosed in the housing and the closure cap in the first position can be ⁇ 500 cm 3 , preferably ⁇ 300 cm 3 and particularly preferably ⁇ 250 cm 3 .
  • the volume is at least 50 cm 3 . This ensures that on the one hand sufficient band-shaped product can be contained in the wound treatment set and on the other hand the Wound treatment set can be conveniently carried by a user and used on the move.
  • the housing can be almost completely grasped with one hand of the user. This means that the user can easily hold the wound treatment set in one hand and, for example, open the cap and remove the band-shaped product with the other hand.
  • grip recesses can be formed on the housing.
  • the grip recesses can preferably be formed on two opposite side surfaces of the housing so that the housing cannot slip out of the user's hand so easily.
  • the recessed grips also make it easier to open the housing for refilling.
  • the two halves of the housing can be swung apart or separated from each other. This leaves the inside of the housing open and a new strip-shaped product can be inserted into the housing.
  • the strip-shaped product can preferably be put onto the axle in roll form. If necessary, a spool remaining on the axle can be removed beforehand.
  • the band-shaped product can be stacked. For this purpose, the band-shaped product is folded in the middle between two segments so that the individual segments lie on top of each other in a stack. The shape of the band-shaped product then corresponds to a compressed "S".
  • the axis in the housing can be omitted. This is advantageous because the stacked band-shaped product also eliminates the coil, which leads to a reduction in the weight of the wound treatment set and to cost savings in the provision of the band-shaped product.
  • a further advantage of the wound treatment kit according to the invention is that the housing can be opened manually for refilling without any aids. This can lead to a high level of acceptance among users.
  • the term “mobile” is understood to mean movable, portable or wearable.
  • the mobility means that the wound treatment kit can be "ready for use” anywhere, since everything needed for rapid treatment of small wounds is included in the wound treatment kit and no additional components, such as scissors, are required.
  • a resilient fixing element is arranged on the housing, wherein the resilient fixing element protrudes beyond the removal opening. The resilient fixing element prevents the person removing the band-shaped product from coming into contact with the band-shaped product that has not yet been removed when the band-shaped product is removed.
  • the rest of the band-shaped product must normally be held by the person removing it so that a section of the band-shaped product can be torn off.
  • the person removing a section of the band-shaped product from the housing can press it against the band-shaped product remaining below the fixing element, so that the band-shaped product is pressed against the housing by means of the fixing element.
  • the band-shaped product can thus be clamped between a side surface of the housing and the resilient fixing element.
  • the fixing element protrudes beyond the removal opening also prevents dirt from entering the housing through the removal opening.
  • the fixing element can also extend beyond the removal opening and along the side surface (also called the narrow side) of the housing in order to cover a strip-shaped product that has already been pulled out of the housing through the removal opening.
  • the fixing element can be designed as a spring tab.
  • conventional elements such as weakenings or wave-shaped
  • Sections must be provided in the fixing element.
  • it can be provided that it has a handle in the area facing away from the hinge and/or that the housing has a handle in the area facing away from the hinge.
  • the handle can be designed to protrude from the surface of the closure flap, e.g. at a right angle or at another suitable angle.
  • the handle can also be designed as a recessed grip, ribbing, rubber coating or handle opening.
  • the housing is cuboid-shaped, whereby cuboid here is understood to mean not only strictly cuboid-shaped housings, but also those with arched or curved side surfaces, also referred to as housing surfaces, and rounded or slanted transitions between the housing surfaces.
  • the curvature can run uniformly over the entire surface, but designs are also conceivable in which individual surfaces transition from curved to flat designs.
  • a cuboid shape should also be understood to mean a shape in which the angles are all or partly not strictly 90 degrees.
  • the tear-off element arranged on the housing is preferably arranged on the same side surface of the housing as the Removal opening. In particular, it is preferred that the tear-off element is provided near an edge of the housing.
  • the tear-off element serves to tear off a strip-shaped product pulled out of the housing by pulling it over the tear-off element.
  • One end of the strip-shaped product can be guided through the removal opening of the housing and pulled out of the housing in a removal direction, wherein the removal direction corresponds to the longitudinal direction of the strip-shaped product.
  • the tear-off element is designed as a web on the housing.
  • the tear-off element can be designed as a cutting edge or can comprise a cutting element on a free-standing side, i.e. on the side with which the tear-off element does not rest on the housing. This can simplify the separation of a section or a segment of the carrier material from the strip-shaped product by the user in that the strip-shaped product is cut through by the cutting edge or the cutting element.
  • a fixing means is provided in the housing, via which a small force is applied to the band-shaped product so that it is somewhat fixed in the housing. This is to ensure that the band-shaped product cannot move back and forth in the housing or unroll on its own if it is in a roll. At the same time, when the band-shaped product is pulled out of the removal opening, a slight resistance is applied against the direction of pull so that precise removal is possible. The force is set so that the band-shaped product can still be pulled out easily, but slipping back into the housing is prevented.
  • the fixing means is designed as clamping webs on the axle.
  • a spring element can be provided on the inner surface of the housing, which clamps between the inner surface of the housing and the strip-shaped product and thus presses on the strip-shaped product.
  • the carrier material is segmented.
  • the segmentation can be achieved, for example, by means of visible lines, perforations or weakenings.

  • a cover paper or release liner that may be provided can be designed to be at least partially adhesive on its surface facing away from the strip-shaped product. This enables the strip-shaped product to be rolled up in a stable manner.
  • the carrier material can have 10 to 50, preferably 20 to 30 segments.
  • the number of individual segments determines the external diameter of the wound strip-shaped product. Therefore, the number of segments must be selected so that, on the one hand, the external diameter of the roll of the strip-shaped product is not too large or too heavy and, on the other hand, the strip-shaped product comprises so many segments that sufficient strip-shaped product can be stored in the housing.
  • Suitable carrier materials according to the invention are films, paper, fabrics and nonwovens.
  • the carrier material is adhesively coated. Coatings known from the prior art with adhesive properties that are suitable for wound dressings can be used as the adhesive coating.
  • the carrier material is preferably coated with a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) or hot melt adhesive, for example based on synthetic Rubber or acrylate-based. Silicone-based adhesive coatings can also be used.

Description

Mobiles Wundbehandlungsset
