Furthermore, the controller is arranged to detect if the distributor of pills has been placed vertically in order to take the pills out from the dispenser. If not taken in time, the openable part is locked. The cover may be opened by an authorized person to fill the compartments and the controller may be set suitably in agreement with the schedule for taking the pills. The device is arranged to detect upon connection of the automatic distributor of pills if the pills were not taken in time, in order to call the responsible person or to make an emergency call.
