    Domaine de l'invention
  • L'invention concerne la distribution de serviettes en papier.
  • Elle concerne plus précisément la distribution de serviettes obtenues par découpe d'une bande de papier.
    • Etat de la technique
  • Le brevet de la demanderesse EP 0 930 039 B1 décrit et revendique un dispositif de distribution de serviettes en papier à partir d'une bande continue, comportant un carter recevant un mécanisme d'alimentation et de découpe et muni d'une fente intérieure servant de sortie de bande, ledit mécanisme comportant une lame montée sur un rouleau d'alimentation et de découpe et une lame montée de manière fixe, et positionnée pour interférer avec ladite lame supportée par ledit rouleau, lesdites lames étant montées et structurées de manière à obtenir, pendant la découpe, un contact punctiforme entre une lame rigide et une lame souple. Ce dispositif se caractérise en ce qu'il comprend au moins une paire de lames rigides et au moins une paire de lames souples, les deux lames situées sur le rouleau étant séparées par une gorge à dans laquelle est positionnée une nervure formée sur la face intérieure du carter, et dont la forme et la disposition sont adaptées pour dévier la bande vers la fente de sortie.
  • Bien que ce dispositif offre déjà de nombreux avantages, il souffre cependant de certains inconvénients, notamment :
    • Usure rapide de la nervure par frottement avec la paire de lames qui sont fixées au rouleau,
    • Dépendance fonctionnelle entre le carter et l'ensemble formé du rouleau et de son support,
    • Mouvements relatifs entre le support du rouleau et la nervure,
    • Risque de se blesser au contact des lames fixées au rouleau, en particulier lors de l'introduction d'une nouvelle bande de papier.
    Description générale de l'invention
  • La présente invention offre notamment l'avantage de remédier aux problèmes décrits dans le chapitre précédent.
  • Elle concerne un dispositif de distribution de serviettes en papier à partir d'une bande continue, comportant un mécanisme d'alimentation et de découpe, ledit mécanisme comprenant un rouleau de découpe et un support dudit rouleau, le rouleau comportant au moins une arête coupante s'étendant sur pratiquement sur toute sa longueur, à l'exception d'au moins un espace disposé de préférence vers le milieu de l'arête, le support de rouleau également une arête coupante, lesdites arêtes étant disposées de manière à obtenir, pendant la découpe, un contact punctiforme entre elles, le dispositif comprenant en outre un support de saillie, fixé au support de rouleau, comportant au moins une saillie dont la forme et la disposition sont adaptées pour traverser ledit espace et pour éloigner la bande de la surface externe du rouleau.
  • De préférence, le dispositif est disposé à l'intérieur d'un carter muni d'une fente au travers de laquelle les serviettes de papier sont extraites. Il convient cependant de relever que contrairement au dispositif de l'état de la technique décrit dans le brevet EP 0 930 039 B1 , l'utilisation d'un carter n'est pas nécessaire pour assurer le fonctionnement du dispositif, ceci grâce au fait que la saillie et son support sont directement fixés au support du rouleau.
  • Avantageusement, l'arête coupante du rouleau est formée de deux lames séparées par ledit espace.
  • Alternativement, l'arête coupante du rouleau peut être formée d'une lame unique. Dans ce cas, l'espace est formé par un décrochement le long de l'arête, décrochement dont la profondeur doit être suffisante pour éviter une retenue de la saillie lors de la rotation du rouleau.
  • A l'instar de l'arête coupante du rouleau, l'arête coupante du support de rouleau peut être formée est formée de deux lames, séparées ou non par une fente.
  • De préférence, au moins une des deux arêtes coupantes a une forme en V. Si la pointe du V comporte un espace entre les lames, la rotation du rouleau a pour effet de ne pas séparer entièrement la première serviette de la suivante. L'utilisateur doit donc exercer une légère traction sur la première serviette pour pouvoir en disposer. Cette configuration a pour effet d'éviter que la serviette tombe accidentellement sur le sol, consécutivement à la rotation du rouleau.
  • Avantageusement, le support de saillie est une plaque dont la surface épouse une partie de la surface externe du rouleau. La plaque forme ainsi un bouclier qui élimine le risque d'être blessé par l'arête coupante du rouleau.
  • Le support de saillie peut cependant avoir n'importe quelle autre forme, p.ex. celle d'une simple tige dont les extrémités sont fixées au support de rouleau.
  • On relèvera enfin que la saillie peut avoir n'importe quelle géométrie et être constituée de n'importe quel matériau dès lors qu'elle permet d'obtenir l'effet désiré, à savoir d'éloigner la bande de la surface externe du rouleau une que la découpe a été réalisée.
    • Description détaillée de l'invention
  • L'invention est décrite de manière plus détaillée dans ce chapitre, notamment au moyen d'un exemple et de figures qui sont brièvement résumées comme suit :

  • Le distributeur illustré sur ces figures comprend un mécanisme d'alimentation et de découpe qui comporte un rouleau de découpe 2 et un support de rouleau constitué de deux éléments latéraux 3,5 fixés aux extrémités d'un élément allongé 4 contenant un espace semi-cylindrique dans lequel se loge le rouleau 2. Le rouleau 2 comporte une arête coupante 6, formée de deux lames 11,12, qui s'étend sur pratiquement sur toute sa longueur, à l'exception d'au moins un espace 7 disposé vers le milieu de l'arête 6. L'élément allongé 4 comprend une arête coupante 8, en forme de V, qui est définie par deux lames 13,14. Les arêtes coupantes 6,8 sont disposées de manière à obtenir pendant la découpe un contact punctiforme entre elles. Le dispositif comprend également un support de saillie 9, fixé aux éléments latéraux 3,5 du support de rouleau. Le support de saillie 9 comporte une saillie 10 dont la forme et la disposition sont adaptées pour traverser ledit espace 7. Lorsqu'un utilisateur tire sur la bande 1, vers le bas (voir figure 3), le rouleau est entraîné en rotation et les arêtes coupantes 6,8 se contactent en un point, assurant de la sorte une découpe progressive de la bande 1, à partir de ses bords. La bande 1 contacte ensuite la saillie 10 dont la disposition et la forme ont pour effet d'éloigner la bande du rouleau, tout en maintenant une zone d'attache entre la partie découpée et le reste de la bande 1. Il suffit alors à l'utilisateur d'exercer une très légère traction sur la partie découpée pour la détacher du reste de la bande 1.

Claims (7)

  1. Dispositif de distribution de serviettes en papier à partir d'une bande continue (1), comportant un mécanisme d'alimentation et de découpe, ledit mécanisme comprenant un rouleau de découpe (2) et un support (3,4,5) dudit rouleau (2), le rouleau (2) comportant au moins une arête coupante (6) s'étendant sur pratiquement sur toute sa longueur, à l'exception d'au moins un espace (7) disposé de préférence vers le milieu de l'arête (6), le support de rouleau (3,4,5) également une arête coupante (8), lesdites arêtes (6,8) étant disposées de manière à obtenir, pendant la découpe, un contact punctiforme entre elles, caractérisé en ce que le dispositif comprend en outre un support de saillie (9), fixé au support de rouleau (3,4,5), comportant au moins une saillie (10) dont la forme et la disposition sont adaptées pour traverser ledit espace (7) et pour éloigner la bande (1) de la surface externe du rouleau (2).
  2. Dispositif selon la revendication 1 dans lequel l'arête coupante du rouleau (6) est formée de deux lames (11,12) séparées par ledit espace (7).
  3. Dispositif selon la revendication 1 dans lequel l'arête coupante du rouleau (6) est formée d'une lame unique, ledit espace étant formé par un décrochement le long de l'arête coupante.
  4. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes dans lequel l'arête coupante du support de rouleau (8) est formée de deux lames (13,14) séparées ou non par une fente.
  5. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes dans lequel au moins une des deux arêtes coupantes (6,8) a une forme en V.
  6. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes dans lequel le support de saillie (9) est une plaque dont la surface épouse une partie de la surface externe du rouleau (2).
  7. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes comprenant un carter muni d'une fente dont la longueur est légèrement supérieure à la largeur de la bande, ladite saillie étant disposée de manière à extraire la bande au travers de la fente.
