  • the lips 39 facilitate retention and tightening of the sheet 26 so that the sheet 26 is tightly held against the lower side of the lower baseplate 35. Securing the clamps 53, 55 in the clamped position semi-permanently locks the sheet 26 in place.
  • the guides 60, 65 and the clamps 53, 55 provide a two-step sheet installation process that facilitates i) alignment of and holding the sheet 26 on the base 25, and ii) secure attachment of the sheet 26 to the base 25 so that the sander 10 can be used on a workpiece.

Abstract

Base (25) pour une ponceuse à feuille (10) comprenant une plaque de base (30) et un guide (60, 65).
