Definitions

  • the present invention relates to blinds with stackable slats and in particular to a system for indexing and switching the slats.
  • the blinds obscuring the openings of the buildings are traditionally composed of slats hinged to each other and rolled up around a winding axis. They are often referred to as roller shutters.
  • roller shutters a solution consists in stacking the slats of the shutter two by two in a receiving tray, instead of winding them entirely around the winding axis. This arrangement avoids having to provide a large diameter available for winding the blades and is therefore more compact. An important issue with these arrangements is to be able to arrange the slides correctly in the receiving tray.
  • the document CH606751 describes a system comprising means for indexing the slats using a rocker deflected by the slats of the shutter and connected to a return spring.
  • the blades are designed so as to act on the rocker as they pass. Every other slat has a device for activating the rocker and orienting the slats in the tray.
  • the document EP3176356 describes a system comprising a cam actuated by the passage of the blades and making it possible to guide them two by two into the receiving tray.
  • An object of the present invention is to provide a roller shutter free of the shortcomings set out above.
  • it is a matter of offering a roller shutter whose slats are standard and can be adapted to most other roller shutters.
  • Another object of the invention is to provide a switching system for a rolling shutter which is not dependent on the passage of the slats, in other words, not activated by the slats themselves.
  • Another object of the present invention is to provide a switching system for a rolling shutter free of return parts, such as springs.
  • the shutter has a receiving tray adapted to receive the blades flat when the shutter is opened.
  • the shutter also has a switching element at each of its ends, fixed so as to be able to pivot. It further comprises a rotatable part at each end of the winding shaft and secured to the winding shaft.
  • the moving part has a geometry acting as a cam. It cooperates with the switching element so as to cause it to pivot alternately from a first position to a second position as a function of its angular positions, and of the angular positions of the winding axis.
  • the moving parts include in particular a continuous and generally circular groove, comprising a first portion in an arc of a circle having a first diameter and a second portion in an arc of a circle having a second diameter different from the first.
  • the switching element comprising a needle in the terminal position suitable for switching the blades of the shutter. It further comprises a lug cooperating with the groove of the moving part.
  • the switching element also comprises a fixing point on which it can pivot between a first position and a second position each corresponding to one of the diameters of the throat of the moving part.
  • the needle extends on both sides on the other side of the switching element, forming two opposite edges adapted to guide the end of the blades.
  • the throat of the moving parts comprising recesses providing continuity between the arcuate portions and allowing passage of the switching element from one to the other of its first and second positions. It comprises in this case two recesses approximately diametrically opposed with respect to the axis of rotation of the moving part.
  • the rotating parts are dimensioned so that the length of the arcuate portions each corresponds to the width of two contiguous blades. They comprise a central recess surrounded by a circular portion comprising one or more connection elements with the tip of the winding shaft so as to be driven by the winding shaft.
  • the geometry of the end of the winding shaft is complementary to that of the connection elements.
  • the connection elements are preferably arranged asymmetrically so as to allow only one relative position of the winding axis and of the moving part.
  • the holding devices arranged at the ends of the winding axis, each comprise a front channel allowing the blades to be guided around the winding axis towards a switching position, where the front channel is divided into two channels switching alternately closed by the switching element.
  • the blades are connected to each other by their longitudinal edges. They are preferably all identical and devoid of switching devices.
  • Holding devices can connect with side uprights.
  • the receiving tray can be fixed between two opposite side uprights.
  • the side uprights may comprise means for guiding the blades arranged in the continuity of the switching channels. They may also comprise an adjustment device making it possible to modulate the distance between the receiving tray and the winding axis.
  • the indexing system comprises at least one rotatable part and at least one switching element as defined here.
  • the roller shutter designates here any device for concealing the opening of a building comprising a winding shaft and slats linked together and articulated driven by the winding shaft and stored flat in a receiving tray.
  • the roller shutter according to the present invention excludes devices without a receiving tray and where the slats are fully wound around the winding axis, concentrically.
  • FIG. 1 An example of a roller shutter 1 according to the present invention is schematically presented in figure 1 .
  • Such a roller shutter 1 comprises a winding axis 10, which is generally arranged transversely to the opening of the corresponding building, and in the high position.
  • the winding shaft 10 is provided with or connected at each of its ends to a holding device 40, fixed and allowing the rotation of the winding shaft 10 along the axis A.
  • the holding device 40 can be by example fixed to the wall of the building, in the frame of the opening, or embedded in the wall of the building, or integrated into an assembly itself fixed to the wall of the building.
  • the roller shutter 1 may further comprise an upright 30, arranged on each of the sides of the opening of the building.
  • the uprights can be used as guides for the vertical path of the slats (not shown) in front of the opening of the building.
  • the holding device 40 and the uprights 30 can be associated so as to form an assembly.
  • the holding device 40 can be provided with a mechanical connection element 41a , 41b , making it possible to secure it with the corresponding upright 30.
  • the uprights 30 may comprise housings adapted to receive such connection elements 41a , 41b .
  • the shutter 1 further comprises a tray 20 for receiving the slides, which are stored there flat, preferably two by two, when the shutter is opened. 1.
  • the slats are driven by the winding axis 10, then guided into the receiving tray 20.
  • the receiving tray 20 is therefore arranged transversely to the opening of the building, i.e. parallel to the winding axis 10 and in a slightly lower position, so as to collect the blades.
  • the receiving tray 20 can be fixed or integrated into the uprights 30. It can additionally or alternatively be fixed to the wall of the building.
  • the winding shaft 10 can take any geometry suitable for driving the blades of the shutter. It may for example be of circular section, or else have a polygonal angular section, such as square or triangular. The length of the different faces, if necessary, can be adapted to the width of the blades for optimal training. Alternatively or in addition, the drive shaft 10 may include one or more elements in relief 11, such as longitudinal grooves or overhanging lips suitable for driving the blades.
  • the drive shaft 10 has at each of its ends a tip 12 allowing it to rotate in the holding device 40.
  • the tip is preferably generally cylindrical in shape and can be held by bearings (not shown).
  • Each of the end pieces 12 of the roller shutter 1 comprise at least one mechanical connection element making it possible to rotate a moving part 50 arranged at the ends of the drive shaft 10.
  • the figure 2 shows a side view of an example of roller shutter 1 according to the present description.
  • the moving part 50 includes a central recess 51 adapted to the geometry of the end piece 12 of the drive shaft 10.
  • the mechanical connection element of the end piece 12 is one or more lugs adapted to mesh in one or more grooves 53 made in the central recess 51 of the moving part 50.
  • the central recess 51 of the moving part 50 is provided with one or more lugs and where the tip 12 of the drive shaft 10 has grooves adapted to cooperate with the lugs, so as to drive the movable part 50 in rotation during the rotation of the winding shaft 10.
  • the lug assembly /grooves can be arranged in a regular manner so as to form a pinion and a crown adapted to mesh each to each other.
  • the mechanical connection element of the endpiece 12 is irregular, so as to constitute a foolproof device.
  • the lug(s) are arranged so as to allow only one relative position of the winding axis 10 and of the moving part 50.
  • the term irregular is understood here as non-symmetrical. Their irregularity may relate to the width, position, depth and any other parameter of the elements involved in the mechanical connection.
  • the movable part 50 is understood as a movable part in rotation along the axis of rotation A of the winding axis 10. It preferably does not have any other degree of freedom. It is also secured to the drive shaft 10 in such a way that the relative angular positions of the movable part 50 and the winding shaft 10 remain identical when rolling up the roller shutter 1.
  • the moving part 50 has a generally planar shape, in a plane perpendicular to the axis of rotation A of the winding axis 10.
  • the picture 3 shows a detailed example of the moving part 50. It is characterized by the presence of a generally circular groove 55 arranged on one of the faces of the moving part 50.
  • the groove 55 is preferably in the peripheral position of the moving part 50 However , it does not necessarily have the same geometry as the periphery 54 of the moving part 50.
  • the groove 55 comprises a first portion in an arc of a circle 59a and a second portion in an arc of a circle 59b of different diameters. In particular, the diameter of the first portion 59a can be smaller than that of the second portion 59b, or vice versa.
  • first recess 55a and a second recess 55b are diametrically opposed, so that the first arcuate portion 59a occupies approximately half of the periphery 54 of the moving part 50 and the second arcuate portion 59b occupies the other half.
  • the groove 55 is intended to receive the lug 64 of a switching element 60 ( figure 4 ). It is therefore of regular shape suitable for allowing such a lug 64 to slide during its rotation.
  • the regular shape in particular means that the width and depth are constant throughout the groove.
  • the moving part 50 can be solid, so as to form a disc, as presented in picture 2 . Alternatively, it can be perforated on one or more portions and thus comprise a set of spokes 58 and recesses 57.
  • the moving part 50 comprises in all cases a circular portion 52 surrounding the central recess 51 and comprising the connection elements 53 necessary for its cooperation with the tip 12 of the winding shaft 10.
  • the switching element 60 is shown in detail at figure 4 . It comprises in particular a fixing point 62 adapted to hold it on a fixed support.
  • the fixed support can be the holding piece 40.
  • the important thing is that the fixing point 62 allows the rotation of the switching element 60, at least over a certain angular amplitude.
  • the angular amplitude can be between approximately 2° and 40°, or between 5° and 30° or remain of the order of 8° to 20°.
  • the angular amplitude of the switching element 60 corresponds to the stroke necessary to switch the slats of the roller shutter 1, as described below.
  • the point of attachment 62 of the switching element can be an orifice in which a pin 45 ( figure 6 ) attached to a fixed support.
  • the attachment point 62 can be a pin that can be inserted into a suitable hole in a fixed support.
  • Other equivalent arrangements can of course be envisaged. It is understood that this is a rotary attachment point.
  • the switching element 60 comprises a lug 64 intended to cooperate with the groove 55 of the movable part 50. To this end it is of adequate length, adapted to the depth of the groove 55, and of thickness adapted to its sliding in the groove 55.
  • the lug 64 is preferably arranged close to the end part of the switching element 60 and at a distance from its attachment point 62. Depending on the desired movement of the switching element, other relative arrangements of the attachment point 62 and the lug 64 can be envisaged.
  • the lug 64 is arranged parallel to the axis of rotation of the switching element around its attachment point 62. In addition, the lug 64 and the axis of rotation of the switching element 60 are both parallel to the axis of rotation A of the winding axis 10.
  • the end part of the switching element 60 comprises a needle 61 adapted to the switching of the blades.
  • the end part acts as a needle 61. It is then profiled so as to orient the blades of the roller shutter 1 towards one or the other of the first 63a and second 63b of the edges of the element of referral 60.
  • the first and second edges 63a, 63b of the referral element 60 are profiled so as to best guide the blades.
  • the first edge 63a and the second edge 63b can independently of each other take a rectilinear or rounded shape, which is concave or convex, or sinuous.
  • the edges of the switching element 60 can for example take the overall shape of a drop of water, the tip of which forms the needle 61. Other shapes suitable for guiding the blades can be envisaged.
  • FIG. 5 diagrams the cooperation of the moving part 50 and the switching element 60.
  • the switching element 60 is maintained in this first angular position during the rotation of the movable part 50 until the passage of the second offset 55b, causing the lug 64 to pass from the second portion in the arc of a circle 59b towards the first arcuate portion 59a.
  • the switching element 60 then assumes a second angular position. It is noted that the angular travel of the switching element 60 depends on the difference in diameter between the first 59a and second 59b portion in the arc of a circle. It is also noted that the switching element 60 pivots with each half-turn of the moving part 50, considering that the first 55a and second 55b setbacks are diametrically opposed. It is understood that the pivoting of the switching element 60 coincides with the passage of the blades to be guided either towards its first edge 63a, or towards its second edge 63b. In particular, the needle 61 is sufficiently tapered to fit into the natural play which separates two contiguous blades and thus to deviate their course towards one or the other of the switching channels.
  • the needle 61 fits completely in the plane of the switching element 60.
  • the end of the blades thus slide alternately on the first 63a and second 63b edges of the switching element 60
  • the needle 61 is wider than the thickness of the switching element 60 or is offset beyond its plane so that only the end of the needle 61 interferes between the shutter blades to deflect them.
  • the dimensions of the switching element 60 are of course adapted to the spacing of the blades so as to be able to orient them effectively.
  • the moving part 50 and the switching element 60 can both be made exclusively of plastic material, such as a hard plastic.
  • the groove 55 and the lug 64 are rigid enough to deviate the course of the blades.
  • the polymers used can nevertheless be selected so as to retain sufficient flexibility to dampen any mechanical pressure by deformation and thus avoid breaking.
  • the moving part 50 and the switching element 60 can alternatively both be made exclusively of metal, in particular a stainless metal.
  • One or the other of the moving part 50 and of the switching element 60 can be made of several different materials, including in particular different plastic materials of different hardness.
  • the central part 52 of the moving part 50, comprising the connection elements 53 can be made of a hard plastic or of metal to avoid any deformation.
  • the groove 55 can in return remain more flexible.
  • the switching element 60 can itself be made up in whole or in part of a flexible material making it possible to dampen the contact with the blades.
  • the switching element 60 comprises a lip 65 which borders the first 63a and the second 63b edges, the lip 65 being part of the extension of the needle 61 ( figure 4 ).
  • the lip 65 has the advantage of forming a stop limiting or prohibiting any transverse movements of the slats of the roller shutter 1. The end of the slats thus come to bear on the first 63a and second 63b edges of the switching element 60 and in abutment against the lip 65 which borders the edges 63a and 63b.
  • One or the other of the lip 65 or of the edges 63a, 63b can be made of hard plastic material or much more flexible and allowing the contact with the blades to be dampened.
  • the moving part 50 and in particular its groove 55, are dimensioned so as to cause the switching element 60 to pivot at each second blade so as to orient the blades in pairs in the receiving tray 20.
  • the length of the first 59a and second 59b arcuate portions each corresponds to the width of two contiguous blades.
  • the moving part 50 acts as a cam making it possible to actively pivot the switching element 60 from a first position to a second position and vice versa.
  • the switching of the blades is thus carried out without spring parts.
  • standard blades, free of switch element activation devices, can be used.
  • FIG. 6 shows a profile view, schematically, of the switching element 60 within the roller shutter 1.
  • the moving part 50 is not shown here.
  • the pivoting of the switching element 60 from its first position to its second position, and vice versa, makes it possible to orient the end of the slats of the roller shutter 1 in a first channel 44a or in a second channel 44b.
  • the first 44a and second 44b channels correspond, for example, to grooves made in the retaining part 40.
  • the uprights 30 can each comprise a first guide means 34a and a second guide means 34b, in the continuity of the first 44a and second 44b channels so as to guide the blades in the receiving tray to their correct position.
  • the guide means 34a, 34b can take the form of grooves in the upright 30 in which the end of the blades can slip.
  • the guide means 34a, 34b can extend over the entire length of the upright 30 corresponding.
  • the guide means 34a, 34b extend over a limited distance so as to release the end of the blades when they are close to the receiving tray 20. They can thus freely stack horizontally.
  • the distance separating the guide means 34a, 34b corresponds approximately to the width of the receiving tray so as to guide the pairs of blades alternately close to the two opposite edges of the receiving tray 20.
  • the holding part 40 can thus act as a guide for the slats of the roller shutter 1. It can comprise an opening 42, making it possible to guide the slats in a front channel 43 around the winding axis 10, which pivots the switching element 60 via the moving part 50, and switches the blades to one or the other of the first 44a and second 44b channels.
  • Channel 43 in the front position of roller shutter 1, is divided in the rear position into first 44a and second 44b channels.
  • the needle 61 alternately comes into abutment, or close to the internal wall of the channel 43 so as to close the passage of one or the other of the first 44a and second 44b channels.
  • the roller shutter 1 according to the present invention is therefore suitable for standard slats, all identical and devoid of any switching device.
  • the space available in the receiving tray 20 can be modulated.
  • the receiving tray 20 is fixed between the two uprights 30 opposite.
  • the uprights 30 can each be connected to the corresponding holding devices 40 by the appropriate connection elements 41a, 41b ( figure 1 ).
  • An adjustment device 70 adapted to modulate the distance between the holding device 40 and the corresponding upright 30 can be provided. In this way, the receiving tray 20 can be moved away from or closer to the winding axis 10 depending on the volume of the slides once they are stacked in the receiving tray.
  • the adjustment device 70 can for example comprise a notched strip, arranged on the holding device 40 and cooperating with a system of detents arranged vis-à-vis on the amount 30 corresponding. Other equivalent devices can be envisaged.
  • the assembly formed by the rotatable part 50 and the switching element 60 constitutes a system for indexing the position of the slats of the roller shutter in the receiving tray 20 as a function of the angular position of the axis d winding 10.
  • the assembly formed by the rotatable part 50 and the switching element 60 constitutes a device for synchronizing the deflection of the blades with the angular position of the winding axis.
