Definitions
- the invention relates to an arrangement for a rail vehicle, a hollow shaft motor with a corresponding arrangement and a rail vehicle.
- Hollow shaft motors can be used as drive motors in rail vehicles, for example. These can be used as a so-called direct drive, in which a wheelset shaft extends through the rotor of the hollow shaft motor and the wheelset shaft is driven directly by the rotor.
- the hollow shaft motor is held radially spaced from the wheelset shaft by means of a motor mount.
- EP 3 470 288 A1 discloses a rail vehicle with a chassis in which a wheelset shaft is spring-mounted so that the wheelset shaft can rotate about an axis of rotation and the chassis is a sprung mass with respect to the wheelset shaft.
- a drive motor for the wheelset shaft acts on the wheelset shaft via a coupling.
- the drive motor surrounds the wheelset shaft.
- the coupling is designed as a single-plane coupling.
- the drive motor is directly connected to the coupling and is suspended at a single point on the chassis, viewed in the direction of the wheelset shaft's axis of rotation.
- the suspension of the drive motor on the chassis is designed in such a way that it enables the drive motor to move both in the direction of the wheelset shaft's axis of rotation and transversely thereto.
- EP 3 185 403 A1 shows a permanent magnet synchronous machine which has a stator in which a stator winding is arranged.
- the synchronous machine has a rotor which can be rotated about a rotation axis and in which permanent magnets are arranged.
- the rotor is connected to a motor shaft via a Connecting device which is designed in such a way that it first connects the rotor to the motor shaft in a rotationally fixed manner, so that a torque generated by the interaction of the stator winding and the permanent magnet is transmitted to the motor shaft.
- the connecting device is further designed in such a way that in the event of a short circuit in the stator winding it automatically releases the rotationally fixed connection of the rotor, so that a torque acting on the motor shaft (10) is no longer transmitted to the rotor.
- the invention is based on the object of specifying an arrangement in which, in the event of a failure of the motor mounting of the hollow shaft motor, damage to the motor as well as the risk of accidents and, in particular, danger to persons is reduced.
- a protective material is arranged in the region of the radial air gap between the rotor and the wheelset shaft, which material separates the rotor from the wheelset shaft in the event of a failure of the motor fastening of the hollow shaft motor and a subsequent support of the rotor on the wheelset shaft, wherein the protective material is softer than the material of the wheelset shaft and softer than at least one material of the rotor.
- a significant advantage of the arrangement according to the invention is that in the event of a possible failure of the motor mounting, the rotor of the hollow shaft motor cannot fall directly onto the wheelset shaft guided therein, since the soft protective material provided according to the invention keeps the shaft and rotor separate.
- the protective material forms at least one protective ring which is arranged on the inside of the hollow rotor and has a smaller inner diameter than the rotor, wherein the at least one protective ring rests on the wheelset shaft in the event of a failure of the motor attachment, or is arranged on the outside of the wheelset shaft, has a larger outer diameter than the wheelset shaft and supports the rotor in the event of a failure of the motor attachment.
- the protective material forms at least one protective tube which is arranged on the inside of the hollow rotor and has a smaller inner diameter than the rotor, wherein the at least one protective tube rests on the wheelset shaft in the event of a failure of the motor attachment, or is arranged on the outside of the wheelset shaft, has a larger outer diameter than the wheelset shaft and supports the rotor in the event of a failure of the motor attachment.
- the protective material forms at least two protective rings, each of which is arranged on the inside of the hollow rotor, has a smaller inner diameter than the rotor and is axially spaced from one another, wherein one of the protective rings is arranged in the region of one axial end of the rotor and the other protective ring is arranged in the region of the other axial end of the rotor.
- the two axially spaced protective rings are made of materials of different hardness.
- a radially inner rotor tube is arranged between the two axially spaced protective rings and is axially fixed by at least one of the protective rings.
- Such an internal rotor tube can advantageously shield cavities in the rotor from the wheelset shaft, for example.
- the rotor comprises iron-containing laminated cores and the protective material is softer than the material of the iron-containing laminated cores.
- the at least one protective ring and/or the at least one protective tube is mounted as a separate part on the inner surface of the rotor or on the outer surface of the wheelset shaft or is applied by a coating process.
- the protective material is iron-free.
- the protective material comprises or consists of aluminum and/or copper.
- the protective material comprises or consists of rubber, for example specifically acrylonitrile butadiene rubber, and/or natural rubber.
- the protective material has a maximum yield strength of 200 N/mm 2 .
- the hollow shaft motor is suitable for being held by a chassis or frame of a vehicle and the wheelset shaft is rotatably mounted by means of bearings attached to the chassis or frame.
- the rotor is connected to the wheel set shaft in a rotationally fixed manner at one of its two rotor ends by means of an axially and/or radially movable connecting device, wherein the connecting device has an axial and/or radial relative movement between the rotor end and the wheelset shaft.
- a protective ring close to the connecting device is softer than a protective ring far from the connecting device.
- Such a different hardness of the protective material is possible because the mechanical load on the near protective ring in the event of a failure of the motor mounting is smaller than that on the far protective ring.
- the protective material forms at least two protective rings, which are each arranged on the outside of the wheelset shaft, have a larger outer diameter than the wheelset shaft and are axially spaced from one another, wherein one of the protective rings is attached to the wheelset shaft in the region of one axial end of the rotor and the other protective ring is attached to the wheelset shaft in the region of the other axial end of the rotor.
- the rail vehicle can be, for example, a rail vehicle that is electrically powered via a current collector, a battery-operated rail vehicle, a rail vehicle equipped with fuel cells or a hybrid rail vehicle.
- the Figure 1 shows an embodiment of an arrangement 5 according to the invention, which forms a component of a vehicle not shown in detail, in particular a rail vehicle.
- the arrangement 5 comprises a hollow shaft motor 10, which has an outer stator 11 and an inner, hollow rotor 12.
- the rotor 12 comprises iron-containing laminated cores which are penetrated by magnetic fields generated by the stator 11 during operation of the hollow shaft motor 10.
- the stator 11 is held by a housing 13 of the hollow shaft motor 10, which in turn is held by a motor mount 14 (only indicated) on a chassis or frame of the vehicle (not shown).
- a wheel set shaft 20 extends through the hollow rotor 12, at the shaft ends of which a vehicle wheel 30 of the vehicle is attached.
- the wheel set shaft 20 is rotatably mounted on the chassis or frame of the vehicle by means of bearings, which for reasons of clarity are shown in the Figure 1 are also not shown.
- the rotor 12 is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the wheelset shaft 20 by means of a connecting device 40, which is preferably axially and radially movable and enables a certain axial and radial relative movement between the rotor 12 and the wheelset shaft 20, for example in order to be able to absorb vibrations of the wheelset shaft 20 during travel.
- a connecting device 40 which is preferably axially and radially movable and enables a certain axial and radial relative movement between the rotor 12 and the wheelset shaft 20, for example in order to be able to absorb vibrations of the wheelset shaft 20 during travel.
- the motor mount 14 keeps the hollow shaft motor 10 and thus also the rotor 12 separated from the wheel set shaft 20 by forming a radial air gap 50.
- two protective rings 60 and 70 are located in the air gap 50, which are attached to the inside 12a of the hollow rotor 12 and have a smaller inner diameter than the rotor 12.
- the function of the protective rings 60 and 70 is to form a protective material that keeps the rotor 12 separated from the wheel set shaft 20 in the event of a failure of the motor mount 14. If the motor mount 14 fails, the hollow shaft motor 10 will fall downward in the direction of the arrow Z. In this case, the protective rings 60 and 70 prevent the rotor 12 from striking the wheel set shaft 20 and damaging it.
- the protective rings 60 and 70 are made of a material that is softer than the material of the wheelset shaft 20, which is preferably made of steel, and softer than the material of the iron-containing laminated cores of the rotor 12.
- the Figure 2 shows the arrangement 5 according to Figure 1 after a failure of the engine mount 14. It can be seen that the hollow shaft motor 10 has lowered and the protective rings 60 and 70 are supported on the wheelset shaft 20. The rotor 12 remains separated from the wheelset shaft 20 by the protective rings 60 and 70 so that it cannot damage it.
- the two protective rings 60 and 70 are preferably made of aluminum, copper, rubber or caoutchouc. It is particularly advantageous if the protective ring 60 close to the connecting device 40 is made of a softer material than the protective ring 70 further away from the connecting device 40.
- the Figure 3 shows a further embodiment of an arrangement in which a protective material is arranged between the rotor 12 and the wheel set shaft 20.
- the protective material forms a protective tube 80 which rests on the inner side 12a of the rotor 12 and is firmly connected to the rotor 12.
- the protective tube 80 can be a separate part which is inserted into the rotor 12; alternatively, the protective tube 80 can also have been applied to the inner side 12a of the rotor 12 as part of a coating process, for example by cold gas spraying.
- the protective tube 80 separates the rotor 12 from the wheel set shaft 20, as is the case in connection with the protective rings 60 and 70 in the embodiment according to the Figures 1 and 2 as explained above.
- the Figure 4 shows a third embodiment of an arrangement according to the invention, in which protective material is present between the rotor 12 and the wheel set shaft 20.
- the two protective rings 60 and 70 perform a dual function. On the one hand, they serve, as in connection with the Figures 1 and 2 explained, in the event of a failure of the motor mounting 14, to keep the rotor 12 separated from the wheel set shaft 20; on the other hand, They serve to axially fix a radially inner rotor tube 90, which separates cavities 91 within the rotor 12 from the wheel set shaft 20. Cavities 91 within the rotor 12 can be advantageously provided in order to achieve a large rotor diameter with the lowest possible total weight in view of a high torque of the hollow shaft motor 10.
- the Figure 5 shows a fourth embodiment of an arrangement according to the invention, in which protective material is provided between the wheel set shaft 20 and the rotor 12.
- the protective material is provided on the wheelset shaft 20 in the form of two protective rings 60 and 70, which are mounted on the outside 20a of the wheelset shaft 20.

Description
