Description
The invention relates to an inflatable weir with a hose that is attached to a weir base and can be filled with water as a bluff body and with a flexible membrane web lying on the hose, which is held with its upper-water end with high tensile strength relative to the hose and with its underwater-side end at a distance from the hose is anchored to the weir base.
A reduction in the kinetic energy of the overflow jet is always associated with the known guide devices, which serve different purposes, for the overflow water flowing from the hose body of an inflatable weir onto the underwater side. The invention is therefore based on the object of designing an inflatable weir with structural means in such a way that the kinetic energy of the overflow jet is available on the underwater side with as little loss as possible.
Based on a hose weir of the type described above, the invention solves the task in that the membrane sheet is guided freely between a surface on the hose on the upper water side and the anchoring on the underwater side and forms a flexible guide ramp for the overflow jet and that the underwater end of the membrane sheet is equipped with a tensioning device connected is.
Due to the free sagging of the flexible membrane sheet between the upper-water-side attachment to the hose and its underwater-side anchorage, a membrane sheet course occurs along a cable curve, even with different but constant loads along the flow path from the overflowing water, which with a corresponding distance of the underwater-side anchorage from the hose and an adapted track length a flexible guide ramp for a largely laminar flow of the overflow jet and thus low energy losses in the area of the flow transition from the flexible guide ramp to a subsequent weir base, for example a horizontal base plate or an inclined firing ramp. In order to create a largely loss-free flow transition from the guide ramp formed by the flexible membrane sheet to the subsequent weir bottom, a flow-promoting and as constant as possible transition must be ensured. This is advantageously achieved in that the end of the membrane sheet on the underwater side is connected to a tensioning device, with the aid of which a substantially tangential connection of the membrane sheet to the continuing weir base can be set.
If the tensioning device includes a weight roller mounted in a loop guide of the underwater end of the membrane sheet, a self-regulating tensile stress independent of external circumstances can be applied to the membrane sheet and thus a sag dependent on the respective load from the overflowing water can be adjusted. Another possibility for the structural design of a tensioning device consists in providing a tensioning shaft which receives the underwater end of the membrane sheet and is actuated accordingly in order to determine the sag of the membrane sheet.

The hose weir shown has, in a conventional manner, a bluff body in the form of a
According to the invention, the hose weir is assigned a

Since the
