Definitions
- the present invention relates to an element for supporting intermediate pieces comprising a base arranged to be placed on an elevation pad of a surface or a joist, which base is provided with at least a first and a second window each having a curved geometry following a line of curvature, each window being arranged to apply one of the intermediate pieces thereto, the first and the second window each having a starting section and a final section, which windows are arranged in such a way that the piece interlayer can be freely moved in the window in which it is applied and be guided by this window when moving.
- Such an intermediate piece support element is known from FROM 10 2013 113 267 A1 .
- the known insert support element is formed by a circular base provided with two windows which are arranged in a semi-circle near the outer edge of the base.
- the known intermediate piece support element is intended to be placed on the head of an elevation stud. It is used to introduce spacer pieces which can extend between two adjacent slabs which will be placed on the spacer support piece or along a beam. These spacer pieces in turn allow the distance between these two adjacent slabs to be maintained.
- a disadvantage of the known intermediate piece support element is that, despite the presence of the windows, the distance between the intermediate piece and the center of the intermediate piece support always remains the same, which limits the possibilities of arranging the intermediate pieces on the support. This has the consequence that with the support element of intermediate pieces known only for rectilinear slabs and equal dimensions can be used, which considerably limits the choice of slabs to lay.
- the aim of the invention is to provide a support element for intermediate pieces which allows a greater possibility of arranging the intermediate pieces on the support element to thus make it possible to broaden the choice of geometries of the slabs to be installed.
- the insert support element according to the invention is characterized in that the line of curvature of the first and second window inclines continuously towards a center of the base, the final section of the first window and the starting section of the second window are juxtaposed to each other in such a way that a linear axis starting from a center of the base towards an outer edge of the base successively crosses the final section of the first window and the starting section of the second window.
- each window and the arrangement of the first and second windows make it possible to bring the intermediate piece closer to the center of the base, thus not limiting the position of the intermediate piece to a fixed distance from the center.
- slab geometries will be allowed, since it will be enough to move the spacer piece in the window to place it between two adjacent slabs, even if the latter are not of rectilinear shape or of equal size.
- WO 2020/127397 describes a spacer support element where a final section of a first window is juxtaposed to a starting section of a second window.
- the combination of FROM 10 2013 113 267 with WO 2020/127397 does not lead to the present invention.
- the man of the trade obtains the teaching of having circular windows whose radius is constant.
- WO 2020/127397 teaches the use of a single circular window in combination with two linear windows. A combination of FROM 10 2013 113 267 with WO 2020/127397 would therefore lead to adding two linear windows to the support element according to FROM 10 2013 113 267 .
- a first preferred embodiment of a support element for intermediate pieces according to the invention is characterized in that each window has an interior line of curvature and an exterior line of curvature, the interior and exterior lines of curvature being at an equal distance between them over their entire length.
- the opening width of the windows remains the same over the entire length of the window, which makes it possible to retain and guide the spacer piece over the entire length of the window.
- a second preferred embodiment of a support element for intermediate pieces according to the invention is characterized in that a starting point of the interior curvature line located at the height of the starting section is located at a distance from said center which is at least 25% greater than that at which an end point of the interior curvature line located at the height of the end section is located relative to said center.
- a third preferred embodiment of an insert support element according to the invention is characterized in that the final section of the first window and the starting section of the second window are juxtaposed to one another on at least 15% of their length. This allows a wide range of positions for applying the spacer piece on a reduced surface area.
- At least two longitudinal openings are provided in the base around said center, the openings extending parallel to each other. These are intended to cooperate with a fastening element arranged to connect the intermediate piece support element to the stud or to the joist.
- a circular opening is provided in the extension and at a distance from the final section of at least one window. This circular opening offers more points of application for the spacer pieces.
- the present invention also relates to an assembly of a spacer support element and a set of spacer pieces.
- Such an assembly is characterized in that the set of intermediate pieces comprises at least a plurality of intermediate pieces distributed into categories, each intermediate piece each having a fastening member arranged to connect the intermediate piece to the window and a head which is extends above the base when the intermediate piece is connected to the window, each category having a predetermined head thickness, the thicknesses of the heads of the different categories being different from each other. This makes it possible to not always have the same distance between the slabs.
- FIG. 1 shows an overview of a support element 1 for inserts according to the invention arranged on an elevation pad 2 of a surface.
- the elevation stud is used to be placed on a ground in order to lay slabs or a floor at a distance from the ground or to compensate for a sloping ground.
- the insert supporting element comprises a base 5 which is provided with at least two longitudinal openings 3 which are provided in the base around the center thereof.
- the base has four longitudinal openings which extend two by two in parallel with each other.
- the support element 1 of intermediate pieces is connected to the stud 2 using an attachment element 4 which takes hold in at least one of the longitudinal openings 3.
- the attachment element is connected to the stud so as to to be able to rotate relative to the pad and thus allow rotation of the insert support element relative to the pad.
- the base is circular which promotes the rotation of the insert support element.
- FIG 2 distinguishes itself from the figure 1 by the fact that the intermediate piece support element 1 is applied to a joist 6.
- the intermediate piece support element is also connected to the joist using a fastening element.
- the intermediate piece support element is connected to the joist so as to be able to rotate relative to the latter and thus allow rotation of the intermediate piece support element relative to the joist.
- FIG. 3 shows a view of the upper face of a support element 1 of inserts according to the invention.
- This element is preferably made of plastic, such as for example polypropylene.
- the base 5 of the insert support element is provided with at least a first 10-1 and a second 10-2 window having a curved geometry.
- Each window 10-1 to 10-4 is arranged to apply at least one of the intermediate pieces 13, as illustrated in figures 5 And 6 .
- Each window has a starting section 10-1a, 10-2a, 10-3a and 10-4a as well as an ending section 10-1b, 10-2b, 10-3b and 10-4b.
- the intermediate piece(s) 13 can be freely moved in the window in which it is (are) applied and be guided by this window during its ( their) movement.
- the windows are arranged in such a way that the final section 10-1b of the first window and the starting section 10-2a of the second window are juxtaposed to one another in such a way that a linear axis 1 starting from 'a center of the base towards an outer edge of the base successively crosses the final section 10-1b of the first window and the starting section 10-2a of the second window.
- the final sections 10-2b, 10-3b and 10-4b and the starting sections 10-3a, 10-4a and 10-1a are arranged similarly.
- the starting point of the starting section of each of the windows is located at the same distance r 1 from the center and the end point of the final section of each of the windows is located at the same distance r 2 from the center, r 1 being greater than r 2 .
- Each window has an inner curvature line 10-1i, 10-2i, 10-3i and 10-4i and an outer curvature line 10-1e, 10-2e, 10-3e and 10-4e.
- the inner and outer lines of curvature being equidistant from each other over their entire length. This equal distance allows an insert inserted into the window to be guided and retained over its entire trajectory in the window.
- the curvature geometry of the windows is such that a starting point of the interior curvature line 10-1i, 10-2i, 10-3i and 10-4i located at the height of the starting section is located at a distance from said center of the base which is at least 25% greater, in particular between 25 and 40% greater, than that at which an end point of this line of interior curvature located at the height of the final section is located relative to said center.
- the line of curvature of the window slopes continuously towards the center of the base and does not follow a circular path whose radius of the curve remains constant.
- the inner and outer curvature line is thus inclined towards the center. This makes it possible to place spacer pieces in the windows at locations which are not at the same distance from the center of the base and thus make it possible to place an spacer piece continuously at different distances from the center.
- the final section of the first window and the starting section of the second window are juxtaposed to one another over at least 15%, in particular over 15 to 25%, of their length.
- the same goes for the final section of the second, respectively third and fourth, window and the starting section of the third, respectively fourth and first, window. This makes it possible to multiply the positions of the interposer element in a reduced space.
- the first window 10-1 consists of two subsections each having a predetermined radius of curvature r a and r b .
- the first subsection includes the starting section 10-1a and the second subsection includes the final section 10-1b.
- the fraction of a circle which forms the first subsection has its center which corresponds to that C of the base, while the fraction of a circle which forms the second subsection has its center C' which is offset from the center C. This offset is both to the left and in height relative to the center C.
- the offset to the left is for example 12.89 mm and upwards is 16.39 mm for a circular base having a radius of 92.58 mm.
- the radius of curvature r a being 72mm and r b 51.352 mm.
- a circular opening 14 is provided in the extension and at a distance from the final section of at least one window.
- there are four circular openings 14 such that each window is associated with such a circular opening.
- These circular openings are used to apply an insert 13 and thus increase the possibility of applying inserts.
- the circular openings are located in the extension of the curve formed by the window with which they are associated.
- Using windows combined with circular openings also has the advantage of stiffening the base. In fact we could extend the window, but then we risk weakening the structure of the base too much which would mean that it could become too easily break.
- the use of windows associated with circular openings therefore offers a good compromise between, on the one hand, sufficient possibilities for applying intermediate pieces and, on the other hand, a sufficiently rigid base.
- each window is surrounded by an edge 16 provided in the base.
- the edge forms a perimeter for the window, respectively the circular opening, and is located offset towards the bottom in relation to the upper surface of the base.
- the distance between this edge and the upper surface corresponds to the thickness of a support disk 23 (see Figure 7 ) of the intermediate piece 13, which disc forms the passage between the head 24 and the attachment member 19 of the intermediate piece.
- the intermediate piece support element On the pedestal or the joist after it has been positioned, it is preferably provided with a set of perforations 20 arranged along a circle whose radius is lower than that of the base.
- the intermediate piece support element according to the invention is part of an assembly which also comprises a set of intermediate pieces 13.
- the set of intermediate pieces comprises a plurality of intermediate pieces 13.
- each insert having a fastening member 19 and a head 24 which extends above the base of the insert supporting element when the spacer piece is connected to the window.
- the game's divider pieces are divided into several categories and each category has a specific head thickness.
- the thickness of the head of the first category 13-1 of insert pieces is less than that of the head of the second category 13-2 of insert pieces.
- the set comprises seven categories 13-1 to 13-7 of inserts.
- the head of the intermediate piece of the first category 13-1 having a thickness equal to 2 mm
- the head of the intermediate piece of the second category 13-2 having a thickness equal to 3 mm
- the head of the intermediate piece of the third 13-3 to seventh 13-7 category having a thickness equal to 4, respectively 4.5, 6, 8 and 10 mm.
- the use of a set of spacer pieces whose heads have different thicknesses allows you to choose the spacer piece that best adapts to the distance between the slabs to be placed. We thus see at the Figure 5 that the slabs are not straight. At the place where the distance between the slabs 21 is the smallest, we will then use the intermediate piece of the second category 13-2. At the point where the distance between the slabs is significantly greater, we will use the spacer piece of the seventh 13-7 category and between the two the spacer piece of the fourth 13-4 category. This way the slabs will be well wedged together and the risk of them moving is greatly limited.
- the insert support element according to the invention comprises an indication 22, for example by the application of streaks or a corrugated profile, indicating the area relative to the center on which said offset can be made while maintaining the stability of the pedestal, the intermediate piece support element and the slabs placed on it.
- this indication extends over a surface equal to a quarter of the surface of the insert support element, starting from a line which crosses the center and then goes in a direction going towards the edge of the support element. support for spacer pieces This then allows the people who will install the slabs to easily see the limits within which the offset can be made.
- the slabs When placing the slabs, after application of the interlayer support element, the slabs will be placed one by one and the interlayer pieces will be placed between the slabs by sliding them into the window(s).

Description
The present invention relates to an element for supporting intermediate pieces comprising a base arranged to be placed on an elevation pad of a surface or a joist, which base is provided with at least a first and a second window each having a curved geometry following a line of curvature, each window being arranged to apply one of the intermediate pieces thereto, the first and the second window each having a starting section and a final section, which windows are arranged in such a way that the piece interlayer can be freely moved in the window in which it is applied and be guided by this window when moving.
A disadvantage of the known intermediate piece support element is that, despite the presence of the windows, the distance between the intermediate piece and the center of the intermediate piece support always remains the same, which limits the possibilities of arranging the intermediate pieces on the support. This has the consequence that with the support element of intermediate pieces known only for rectilinear slabs and equal dimensions can be used, which considerably limits the choice of slabs to lay.
The aim of the invention is to provide a support element for intermediate pieces which allows a greater possibility of arranging the intermediate pieces on the support element to thus make it possible to broaden the choice of geometries of the slabs to be installed.
To this end, the insert support element according to the invention is characterized in that the line of curvature of the first and second window inclines continuously towards a center of the base, the final section of the first window and the starting section of the second window are juxtaposed to each other in such a way that a linear axis starting from a center of the base towards an outer edge of the base successively crosses the final section of the first window and the starting section of the second window. Being able to freely move the spacer piece in each window, which is also curved so that the final section of the first window and the starting section of the second window are juxtaposed to one another, gives a wide possibility of placing the spacer pieces in each of the windows. The curvature of each window and the arrangement of the first and second windows make it possible to bring the intermediate piece closer to the center of the base, thus not limiting the position of the intermediate piece to a fixed distance from the center. Thus a wide choice of slab geometries will be allowed, since it will be enough to move the spacer piece in the window to place it between two adjacent slabs, even if the latter are not of rectilinear shape or of equal size.
A first preferred embodiment of a support element for intermediate pieces according to the invention is characterized in that each window has an interior line of curvature and an exterior line of curvature, the interior and exterior lines of curvature being at an equal distance between them over their entire length. Thus the opening width of the windows remains the same over the entire length of the window, which makes it possible to retain and guide the spacer piece over the entire length of the window.
A second preferred embodiment of a support element for intermediate pieces according to the invention is characterized in that a starting point of the interior curvature line located at the height of the starting section is located at a distance from said center which is at least 25% greater than that at which an end point of the interior curvature line located at the height of the end section is located relative to said center. This makes it possible to have a large number of positions for the interlayer, while maintaining good rigidity of the base.
A third preferred embodiment of an insert support element according to the invention is characterized in that the final section of the first window and the starting section of the second window are juxtaposed to one another on at least 15% of their length. This allows a wide range of positions for applying the spacer piece on a reduced surface area.
Preferably at least two longitudinal openings are provided in the base around said center, the openings extending parallel to each other. These are intended to cooperate with a fastening element arranged to connect the intermediate piece support element to the stud or to the joist.
Preferably a circular opening is provided in the extension and at a distance from the final section of at least one window. This circular opening offers more points of application for the spacer pieces.
The present invention also relates to an assembly of a spacer support element and a set of spacer pieces. Such an assembly is characterized in that the set of intermediate pieces comprises at least a plurality of intermediate pieces distributed into categories, each intermediate piece each having a fastening member arranged to connect the intermediate piece to the window and a head which is extends above the base when the intermediate piece is connected to the window, each category having a predetermined head thickness, the thicknesses of the heads of the different categories being different from each other. This makes it possible to not always have the same distance between the slabs.

This equal distance allows an insert inserted into the window to be guided and retained over its entire trajectory in the window.
The curvature geometry of the windows is such that a starting point of the interior curvature line 10-1i, 10-2i, 10-3i and 10-4i located at the height of the starting section is located at a distance from said center of the base which is at least 25% greater, in particular between 25 and 40% greater, than that at which an end point of this line of interior curvature located at the height of the final section is located relative to said center. Thus the line of curvature of the window slopes continuously towards the center of the base and does not follow a circular path whose radius of the curve remains constant. The inner and outer curvature line is thus inclined towards the center. This makes it possible to place spacer pieces in the windows at locations which are not at the same distance from the center of the base and thus make it possible to place an spacer piece continuously at different distances from the center.
Preferably the final section of the first window and the starting section of the second window are juxtaposed to one another over at least 15%, in particular over 15 to 25%, of their length. The same goes for the final section of the second, respectively third and fourth, window and the starting section of the third, respectively fourth and first, window. This makes it possible to multiply the positions of the interposer element in a reduced space.

To facilitate the fixing of the intermediate piece support element on the pedestal or the joist after it has been positioned, it is preferably provided with a set of

Preferably the insert support element according to the invention comprises an
When placing the slabs, after application of the interlayer support element, the slabs will be placed one by one and the interlayer pieces will be placed between the slabs by sliding them into the window(s).
