Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung nach dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1 und ein Verfahren zum Andrücken von Kantenbändern bei welchem eine Vorrichtung nach dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1 eingesetzt wird. Eine solche Vorrichtung und eine solches Verfahren sind aus dem Dokument
In der Holzverarbeitung werden an die Schmalseiten von plattenförmigen Werkstücken, die regelmäßig aus Holz oder Holzersatzstoffen bestehen, Kantenbänder angebracht. Alle plattenförmigen Werkstücke haben zumindest äußere Eckbereiche. Bei diesen ist das Anbringen von Kantenbändern über die Ecke hinweg unproblematisch, da zwei aneinander angrenzende Schmalseiten im Zweifel separat mit einem Kantenband angefahren werden können. Da in der Regel Rollen bzw. Walzen zum Andrücken verwendet werden, stellen solche Außenecken kein Problem dar. Anders verhält es sich, wenn es innere Eckbereiche gibt. - c. Andrücken eines ersten Kantenbandabschnitts des zugeführten Kantenbandes an die Schmalseite des ersten Werkstückabschnitts mittels der Hauptandruckrolle, wobei eine Relativverschiebung zwischen Werkstück und Hauptandruckrolle erfolgt;
- d. Schwenken des ersten Schwenkhebels, so dass das Anpresselement mit seiner ersten Anpressfläche zwischen der Hauptandruckrolle und der Innenecke des Werkstücks zur Anlage kommt und das Kantenband im Bereich des ersten Kantenbandabschnitts an die Schmalseite des ersten Werkstückabschnitts unter Fortsetzung der Relativverschiebung andrückt;
- e. wenn die Spitze zwischen den beiden Anpressflächen des Anpresselements den Bereich der Innenecke erreicht, wird die Hauptandruckrolle vom ersten Kantenbandabschnitt abgehoben, wobei das Anpresselement das Kantenband in die Innenecke drückt, wobei vom Kantenband ein an den ersten Kantenbandabschnitt angrenzender zweiter Kantenbandabschnitt abgewinkelt wird;
- f. Andrücken des zweiten Kantenbandabschnitts an die Schmalseite des zweiten Werkstückabschnitts mittels der Hauptandruckrolle, wobei eine Relativverschiebung zwischen Werkstück und Hauptandruckrolle erfolgt.

- Method for pressing an edge strip (3) onto the narrow side of workpieces (2) of wood or wood substitutes in which a device (1) according to one of the preceding claims is used, comprising the following steps:a. Providing a workpiece (2) with two portions (21, 22) angled relative to one another to form an inner corner (20);b. Supplying an adherent edge strip to the narrow side of the workpiece (2) in the region of the first workpiece portion (22);c. Pressing a first edge strip portion (3b) of the supplied edge strip (3) onto the narrow side of the first workpiece portion (22) by means of the main pressing roller (13), wherein a relative displacement takes place between the workpiece (2) and main pressing roller (13);d. Pivoting the first pivot lever (16) so that the pressing element comes to bear with its first pressing surface (17b) between the main pressing roller (13) and the inner corner (20) of the workpiece, and presses the edge strip (3) in the region of the first edge strip portion (3b) onto the narrow side of the first workpiece portion (22) whilst continuing the relative displacement;e. - Method according to Claim 5 characterised in that during or after step f. a step g. is carried out in which the second pressing surface (17a) of the pressing element (17) presses the second edge strip portion (3a) against the narrow side of the second workpiece portion (21).
- Method according to Claim 6 characterised in that during pressing of the second edge strip portion (3a) the pressing element (17) trails the main pressing roller.
- Method according to one of Claims 5 to 7 where also dependent on Claim 2, characterised in that at least during steps c. and d., in particular also during steps e. and f., the secondary pressing roller (15) bears against the first edge strip portion (3b) trailing the main pressing roller (13).
