Claims (10)

  1. Verwendung eines Copolymers (C), das repetitive Einheiten umfasst, die Alkylmethacrylat-Monomeren entsprechen, wobei die Monomere mindestens umfassen:
    - ein oder mehrere Monomer(e) (A), die gleich oder verschieden sind, ausgewählt aus (C6-C10)-Alkylmethacrylat-Monomeren;
    - ein oder mehrere Monomer(e) (B), die gleich oder verschieden sind, ausgewählt aus (C10-C18)-Alkylmethacrylat-Monomeren, wobei die Monomere (B) von den Monomeren (A) verschieden sind,
    in einer Schmiermittelzusammensetzung, die mindestens ein Basisöl umfasst, um die anormale Verbrennung des Gases in einem Motor, vorzugsweise einem Schiffsmotor oder einem Fremdzündungsmotor, zu verringern und/oder zu kontrollieren.
  2. Verwendung nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Copolymer (C) repetitive Einheiten umfasst, die entsprechen:
    - Monomeren (A), die gleich oder verschieden sind, ausgewählt aus (C6-C10)-Alkylmethacrylat-Monomeren;
    - Monomeren (B), die gleich oder verschieden sind, ausgewählt aus (C10-C18)-Alkylmethacrylat-Monomeren, wobei die Monomere (B) mindestens ein (C12)-Alkylmethacrylat-Monomer und/oder mindestens ein (C14)-Alkylmethacrylat-Monomer umfassen.
  3. Verwendung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, wobei die Monomere (A) und die Monomere (B) mindestens 75 Gew.-% der Gesamtheit der zur Herstellung des Copolymers (C) eingesetzten Monomere darstellen, sie vorzugsweise mindestens 90 Gew.-%, noch bevorzugter mindestens 95 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise mindestens 97 Gew.-%, noch besser mindestens 99 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise mindestens 99,5 Gew.-% darstellen.
  4. Verwendung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, wobei das Gewichtsverhältnis der Monomere (B) zu den Monomeren (A) zwischen etwa 99:1 und etwa 10:90 liegt.
  5. Verwendung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, wobei die Monomere (A) verzweigt sind und vorzugsweise 2-Ethylhexylmethacrylat sind und/oder die Monomere (B) linear sind, vorzugsweise die Monomere (B) eine Mischung aus C10-Alkylmethacrylat, C12-Alkylmethacrylat, C14-Alkylmethacrylat, C16-Alkylmethacrylat und C18-Alkylmethacrylat sind.
  6. Verwendung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, wobei das Copolymer (C) Einheiten umfasst, die den Monomeren C10-Alkylmethacrylat, C12-Alkylmethacrylat, C14-Alkylmethacrylat, C16-Alkylmethacrylat, C18-Alkylmethacrylat und C8-Alkylmethacrylat entsprechen.
  7. Verwendung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, wobei die Schmiermittelzusammensetzung 50 bis 10000 Gew.-ppm aktives Material des Copolymers (C), bezogen auf das Gesamtgewicht der Zusammensetzung, umfasst.
  8. Verwendung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei der Motor ein Schiffsmotor, vorzugsweise ein reiner Gas- oder Dual-Fuel-Schiffsmotor, Zweitakt- oder Viertaktmotor ist.
  9. Verwendung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, um die Menge der Schmiermittelzusammensetzung in der Brennkammer des Motors, vorzugsweise des Schiffsmotors, zu verringern.
  10. Verwendung einer Schmiermittelzusammensetzung, die umfasst:
    - mindestens ein Basisöl;
    - mindestens ein Copolymer (C), wie in einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7 definiert,
    um:
    - die anormale Verbrennung des Gases in einem Motor, vorzugsweise in einem Schiffsmotor oder in einem Fremdzündungsmotor, zu verringern und/oder zu kontrollieren, vorzugsweise um die anormale Verbrennung des Gases in einem Motor, vorzugsweise in einem Schiffsmotor, insbesondere in einem reinen Gas- oder Dual-Fuel-Motor, Zweitakt- oder Viertaktmotor, zu reduzieren und/oder zu kontrollieren; und/oder
