Definitions
- the invention relates to a sewing machine loading device for automatically loading a sewing machine with first and second sewing parts to be sewn together according to the preamble of claim 1.
- sewing dresses are required to cover support elements.
- sewn dresses are used for interior design to conceal basic supports with sewn dresses.
- the sewn clothes often consist of a plurality of sewn parts in the form of individual fabric, artificial leather or genuine leather cuts, which are joined together by sewing and/or optionally provided with decorative seams.
- a particular difficulty is that sewing parts (material cuts) with non-congruent contours often have to be sewn in such a way that a three-dimensional Sewing dress is created. This requires the utmost precision on the part of a seamstress when the sewing parts are manually fed to a sewing machine, aligned with one another and sewn. Furthermore, the manual alignment and feeding of the sewing parts to the sewing machine is associated with a considerable amount of time and therefore costs.
- a sewing machine loading device according to the preamble of claim 1 is known.
- the device there has two sewing part feeding devices arranged parallel next to one another with first and second storage tables on which first and second sewing parts are arranged.
- a second sewing part is placed on a first sewing part using a flip device, with the combination of the first and second sewing parts then being transported further to the sewing machine by means of two conveyor belts arranged next to one another.
- the DE 102018103591 A1 discloses a sewing machine loading device which has a handling device in the form of a robot, which positions the sewing parts removed from two individual magazines and to be sewn one above the other using a suction member.
- the DE 2644995 A1 discloses a sewing machine loading device with conveying devices for the simultaneous longitudinal feed of two separate sewing parts fed from a sewing part cutting device. The sewn parts are conveyed there on two separate conveyors that converge.
- the invention is based on the object of creating a sewing machine loading device with which sewing parts to be sewn together can be positioned relative to one another and fed to a sewing machine fully automatically and in the most accurate and rapid manner possible.
- the sewing machine loading device comprises a handling device for removing the sewing parts from a sewing part magazine or for picking up the sewing parts from a sewing part cutting device, a positioning device for positioning the two sewing parts in a predetermined relative position and a transport device for transporting the sewing parts from the positioning device in the direction of the sewing machine.
- the positioning device comprises a first storage table with a first storage area for depositing the first sewing part in a predetermined storage position and a second storage table with a second storage area for depositing the second sewing part in a predetermined storage position. At least one of the storage tables can be moved from a first position in which the two storage surfaces are arranged laterally next to one another to a second position in which the two storage surfaces are arranged one above the other.
- the transport device includes first and second conveyor belts, which are designed to move the two sewing parts on the storage tables.
- the first and second conveyor belts are vertically spaced.
- the first The conveyor belt can be moved together with the first storage table between the first and second positions.
- the first sewing part can be brought into contact with the first conveyor belt and the second conveyor belt with the second sewing part, such that the sewing parts can be transported from the storage tables in the direction of the sewing machine without changing their mutual relative position.
- the sewing parts to be sewn together can be removed fully automatically from a sewing part magazine or from a sewing part cutting device (cutter) and fed to the positioning device in order to be positioned one above the other in a predetermined manner.
- the sewing parts positioned in this way are then automatically transported by the positioning device in the direction of the sewing machine without any further change in their relative position by means of the transport device, in particular to a sewing part manipulator arranged on the sewing machine, which continuously aligns the first and second sewing parts relative to one another transversely to the sewing direction during sewing.
- the sewing machine loading device thus makes it possible for the sewing parts to be sewn together to be handled fully automatically between the sewing part magazine or the sewing part cutting device and the sewing machine or the sewing part manipulator.
- the handling and positioning of the sewing parts can be carried out very precisely, at high speed and without manpower.
- a high working speed is achieved in particular by the fact that the handling device immediately returns to the sewing part magazine or can return to the sewing part cutting device and pick up new sewing parts after the previous sewing parts have been placed on the positioning device.
- the sewing parts can be arranged one above the other in a very precise manner, with the sewing parts preferably only being separated from one another by one of the storage tables. Due to their endlessly rotating belts, the conveyor belts can transport the sewing parts at any time and in a particularly effective manner from the positioning device to the sewing machine or to the sewing part manipulator.
- the first conveyor belt is a lower conveyor belt and the second conveyor belt is an upper conveyor belt, the first conveyor belt having a conveyor belt section which is arranged in the area of the first storage surface and in a plane parallel to this and protrudes upwards over the first storage surface.
- the first conveyor belt can be moved together with the first storage table between the first and second positions.
- the first sewing part can be pressed by means of the first conveyor belt against a lower surface of the second storage table, which is designed as a sliding surface for the first sewing part.
- the first storage table can be moved in the vertical direction together with the first conveyor belt.
- the first sewing part can easily be placed between the first conveyor belt and the sliding surface provided on the underside of the second storage table. This ensures that the first sewing part is taken along by the first conveyor belt without slipping.
- the second storage table preferably has a sliding surface made of a friction-reducing material, against which the second sewing part can be pressed by means of the second conveyor belt. This also ensures that the second sewing part is carried along by the second conveyor belt without slipping.
- a centering device for centering the sewing parts on the storage tables is preferably provided on the first storage table and/or second storage table.
- the centering device can consist of at least one centering pin projecting beyond the first and second storage surfaces, onto which the sewing parts can be attached.
- the first conveyor belt and/or second conveyor belt is designed as a friction conveyor belt.
- the first conveyor belt and/or second conveyor belt has a plurality of circumferential belts which are arranged next to one another at a distance. This means that even larger sewing parts can be transported without the sewing parts pivoting on the storage tables.
- the handling device with which the sewing parts are removed from the sewing part magazine or from the sewing part cutting device comprises vacuum suction devices or needle gripping devices that are designed to hold the sewing parts and can be moved both in the vertical direction and in at least one horizontal direction.
- the vacuum suction devices or needle gripping devices can be moved at least in two axes.
- the sewing parts magazine preferably comprises individual magazines arranged next to one another for receiving the first and second sewing parts in stacks, the individual magazines being arranged next to one another and aligned in such a way that the relative position of the first and second sewing parts stacked in the individual magazines corresponds to the relative position which the sewing parts have when placed on the positioning device have.
- Such an embodiment is particularly suitable for handling devices that can be moved on two axes, since the sewing parts no longer have to be rotated or tilted until they are deposited on the storage tables.
- the sewing machine loading device comprises an adhesive application device arranged between the sewing part magazine or the sewing part cutting device and the positioning device for applying adhesive to at least one of the sewing parts.
- Figure 1 shows a sewing machine loading device with which a first sewing part 1 and a second sewing part 2, which are stacked in a sewing part magazine 3, can be fed fully automatically to a sewing machine (not shown) or to a sewing part manipulator of the sewing machine.
- the sewing machine not shown, is located at the right end of the in Figure 1 Sewing machine loading device shown.
- the first sewing part 1 and the second sewing part 2 can, for example, be fabric, leather or artificial leather cuts that can have different contours.
- the sewing parts magazine 3 and the sewing parts 1, 2 are only shown schematically in the drawings and can have a wide variety of designs Have shapes and designs.
- the sewing part magazine 3 is designed such that it includes a first individual magazine 3a and a second individual magazine 3b.
- the first individual magazine 3a is designed in such a way that it holds a stack of first sewing parts 1 arranged one above the other.
- the second individual magazine 3b is designed in such a way that it accommodates a stack of second sewing parts 2 arranged one above the other.
- the first and second sewing parts 1, 2 are aligned in a predetermined manner on a magazine table 4 and spaced apart from one another.
- the stacks of sewing parts are held laterally by guide elements 5, which are attached to the magazine table 4 in an adjustable manner.
- the sewing parts magazine 3 can be filled with the first and second sewing parts 1, 2 manually or using a device (not shown).
- the sewing machine loading device comprises a handling device 6 for removing the sewing parts 1, 2 from the sewing parts magazine 3, a positioning device 7 for positioning the two sewing parts 1, 2 in a predetermined relative position to one another and a transport device 8 for further transporting the sewing parts 1, 2 from the positioning device 7 direction of the sewing machine.
- the handling device 6 includes vacuum suction devices 9a, 9b with suction cups 10, which are attached to suction cup holders 11a, 11b.
- the vacuum suction devices 9a, 9b can be moved vertically, ie in the z direction, by means of motor-driven vertical slides 12a, 12b in order to place the suction cups 10 on the uppermost first sewing part 1 or second sewing part 2 of the sewing parts 1, 2 stacked in the individual magazines 3a, 3b and the sewing parts 1 , to lift 2 from the stacks.
- holding guides 13a, 13b which extend in the y-direction, are attached to the vertical slides 11a, 11b.
- the suction cup holders 11a, 11b can be moved along the holding guides 13a, 13b and locked in that y-position in which the suction cups 10 are in the desired position above the associated stack of sewing parts.
- the two vertical slides 12a, 12b are guided so as to be vertically displaceable on a common horizontal slide 14.
- the handling device 6 is designed such that the two vacuum suction devices 9a, 9b can be lowered and raised at the same time and can be moved in the x direction.
- the horizontal carriage 14 is mounted on a plate-shaped console 15 so that it can move in the x direction and can be moved by means of a suitable drive between the sewing part magazine 3 and the positioning device 7 in order to move the sewing parts 1, 2 removed from the sewing part magazine 3 in a manner which will be described in more detail later to be placed on the positioning device 7.
- Figure 3 shows the positioning device 7.
- This includes a first storage table 16 with a first storage surface 17 for the first sewing part 1 and a second storage table 18 with a second storage surface 19 for the second sewing part 2.

The first storage table 16 can be moved between an in Figure 3 shown first position, in which the first storage table 16 is at least predominantly next to the second storage table 18, and one in the Figures 1 and 4 shown second position are moved, in which the first storage table 16 is at least predominantly under the second storage table 18.
- the first and second sewing parts 1, 2 are placed on the storage tables 16, 18 not simultaneously, but one after the other.
- the handling device 6 is moved to the side-by-side storage tables 16, 18 so that the first sewing part 1 is in a predetermined position the first storage table 16 is located, while the second sewing part 2 is in a predetermined position above the second storage table 18 is located.
- the first sewing part 1 is then placed on the first storage table 16, as in Figure 3 shown.
- the first sewing part 1 is centered on the first storage table 16 by placing the first sewing part 1 onto a centering pin 23, which is attached to the first storage table 16 and protrudes upwards over it.
- the first sewing part 1 has a corresponding centering tab with a centering hole.
- the first storage table 16 is then moved together with the first sewing part 1 into a second position in which the first storage table 16 is located under the second storage table 18 in such a way that the first sewing part 1 is covered by the second storage table 18 and is exactly below that point of the second storage table 18, where the second sewing part 2 is to be placed.
- This second position is in the Figures 1 and 4 shown.
- the second storage table 18 initially remains stationary.
- the centering pin 23 is located outside the second storage table 18 so that it can be moved past the second storage table 18.
- first storage table 16 is in the appropriate position below the second storage table 18, the first storage table 16 is moved upwards together with a first conveyor belt 24, which will be described in more detail later, by means of a suitable lifting device in such a way that the first sewing part 1 is easily positioned between the first conveyor belt 24 and the second storage table 18 is clamped.
- the second vertical carriage 12b is then lowered and the second sewing part 2 is placed on the second storage table 18.
- the centering of the second sewing part 2 on the second storage table 18 is again carried out by the centering pin 23 by placing a centering tab of the second sewing part 2, which has a centering hole, onto the centering pin 23.
- the two sewing parts 1, 2 are now in a suitable relative position one above the other, but are separated from one another by the second storage table 18.
- the sewing part pair consisting of the first sewing part 1 and the second sewing part 2 is transported away from the positioning device 7 to the sewing machine or to the sewing part manipulator of the sewing machine by means of the transport device 8, which in particular Figure 5 is visible.
- the transport device 8 comprises the first conveyor belt 24 for conveying the first sewing part 1 and a second conveyor belt 25 for conveying the second sewing part 2.
- both conveyor belts 24, 25 each have two circumferential belts 24a, 24b; 25a, 25b, which are arranged next to each other at some distance in order to prevent the first and second sewing parts 1, 2 from pivoting when the sewing parts 1, 2 are moved on the storage tables 16, 18.
- the first conveyor belt 24 and the first storage table 16 are firmly connected to one another, so that the position of the first conveyor belt 24 relative to the first storage table 16 remains unchanged. If the first storage table 16 is moved from the first position lying next to the second storage table 18 into the second position, in which it is covered by the second storage table 18, the first conveyor belt 24 is moved accordingly.
- the first conveyor belt 24 is arranged relative to the first storage table 16 in such a way that an upper conveyor belt section 26, which runs parallel to the first storage surface 17, is arranged slightly higher than the first storage surface 17.
- the first sewing part 1 placed on the first storage table 16 thus rests on the upper conveyor belt section 26 and is additionally supported by the areas of the first storage surface 17 lying laterally next to the conveyor belt section 26.
- the second conveyor belt 25 is designed the same or very similar to the first conveyor belt 24, but is arranged stationary in the x direction relative to the console 15.
- the second conveyor belt 25 is attached in a height-adjustable manner to vertical slides 27, which are mounted on a stationary storage console 28.
- the second conveyor belt 25 can be moved by means of a suitable drive between a raised position in which the second conveyor belt 25 is at a distance above the second storage table 18 and the second sewing part placed thereon 2 is arranged, and are moved vertically to a lowered position, in which a lower conveyor belt section 29 of the second conveyor belt 25 rests on the second sewing part 2.
- the lower conveyor belt section 29 runs parallel to the second storage surface 19.
- both storage tables 16, 18 are initially in a position that is shown in Figure 1 is shown. In this position, the storage tables 16, 18 are located in front of the second conveyor belt 25. Both storage tables 16, 18 are then moved together with the first conveyor belt 24 together in the x direction to such an extent that both sewing parts 1, 2 are in the initial area of the conveyor belts 24 , 25 arrive.
- the second conveyor belt 25 is then lowered to such an extent that the lower conveyor belt section 29 rests lightly on the second sewing part 2.
- This position is in Figure 5 shown.
- both conveyor belts 24, 25 protrude in the x direction over the storage tables 16, 18 to the extent required for the two sewing parts to reach the end of the conveyor belts 24, 25 after the conveyor belts 24, 25 have been switched on have been transported, can be taken over by the sewing part manipulation device, not shown, of the sewing machine.
- the sewing part manipulation device can have a horizontal separating and guide plate, not shown, which is inserted into the space between the two conveyor belts 24, 25 protrudes into it and extends to the second storage table 18, and have upper and lower guide and driving rollers which move the first and second sewing parts 1, 2 in the x direction, i.e. h can move transversely to the sewing direction.
- the centering pin 23 Before switching on the conveyor belts 24, 25, the centering pin 23 is lowered so far that it is outside the centering holes of the sewing parts 1, 2. In this way, the centering pin 23 does not hinder the movement of the sewing parts 1, 2 on the storage tables 16, 18.
- the two conveyor belts 24, 25 are preferably friction conveyor belts, i.e. H. the conveyor belt sections 26, 29 of the circulating belts 24a, 24b; 25a, 25b rest with little pressure on the first sewing part 1 or second sewing part 2 and take the sewing parts 1, 2 with them without slipping by means of frictional force when the straps 24a, 24b; 25a, 25b are set in motion.
- Both the lower surface and the upper surface of the second storage table 18 serve as sliding surfaces for the first sewing part 1 or second sewing part 2.
- these surfaces are preferably provided with a friction-reducing material 30.
- This friction-reducing material 30 can be present, for example, in the form of elongated strips which are arranged above the first conveyor belt 24 or below the second conveyor belt 25.
