Claims (10)

  1. Tool comprising a rigid end fitting (41 to 46) in one uninterrupted section, which is symmetrical with respect to a longitudinal median plane, and having a main face on which is machined at least one slope (45) towards one end, characterised in that, towards the other end, an end plate (52) on a different level is machined on the main face on a first level with respect to a stop (53) on a second level that is lower than the first level, a blade (47), in one uninterrupted section, which is longer and thinner than the end fitting, abutting the stop (53) by one of the ends of said blade and being clamped between the end plate (52) and a retaining element (48), the flat upper face of which is on the same level as the highest level of the main face.
  2. Tool according to claim 1, characterised in that the end fitting is 70 to 300 cm long and the blade (47) is 1,000 to 8,000 cm long.
  3. Tool according to either claim 1 or claim 2, characterised in that the blade (47) is made from stainless steel and the end fitting is made from a plastics material that slides easily.
  4. Tool according to any of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the blade (47) comprises, at the end close to the end fitting, a transverse end face that is curved in a convex manner, corresponding to a transverse face curved in a concave manner in the end fitting such that the end fitting and the blade (47) can be abutted satisfactorily, but such that they can subsequently be separated and stored and transported independently.
  5. Tool according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the tool is a seal installation tool and comprises a flat and smooth main upper sliding face and the opposite main lower face, on which are arranged, in succession, according to the longitudinal sliding direction of the tool, a driver (41) and a slope (45) extending away from the upper face as it extends from the driver (41).
  6. Tool according to claim 5, characterised in that the driver (41) is only located in the middle part, in width terms, of the lower face and the slope (45) is only located on the side parts with respect to the width of the lower face.
  7. Tool according to any of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the tool is a seal removal tool, two longitudinal runners, each having a front end, originating from the flat lower face of the end fitting and, on the upper face of the end fitting, and the following are machined successively from the front to the back:
    - at the front, two bezels (22) that are inclined with respect to the lower face and extend to the ends of the runners (21), where they form scraping nozzles;
    - a T-shaped slope (23), from the lower transverse edge of which the two bezels (22) originate, the topmost upper transverse edge of which slope, which is less wide than the lower transverse edge, is shared with the front transverse edge of a central longitudinal bar (24); and
    - the central bar (24) being less wide than the width of the lower face.
  8. Tool according to claim 7, characterised in that the end fitting comprises two longitudinal strips (25) either side of the central bar (24), said strips being longitudinally aligned with the bezels (22) and not as thick as the central bar (24), originating from the lowermost upper transverse edge of the slope and extending towards the back beyond the central bar (24) up to the rear edges in the form of a circular arc, defining between said strips and the rear edge of the central bar and the upper face a housing to receive the retaining element for the blade (27), with a circular edge, adapting to the rear edges in the form of a circular arc, the blade (27) having the same thickness as the strips (25), and the sum of the thickness of the blade (27) and the thickness of the retaining ring (26) being equal to the thickness of the central bar (24).
  9. Tool according to any of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the angle of the bezels (22) with the lower face of the end fitting is between 5 and 30°, the angle of the slope (23) with the lower face of the end fitting is between 5 and 30° and the angle of the slope (23) with the lower face of the end fitting is equal to that of the bezels (22).
  10. Tool according to any of claims 1 to 9, characterised in that a centring hole (50) is provided in the end fitting and a finger (49) of the retaining element (48) penetrates this hole (50) passing through an opening in the blade (47) placed on top of the hole.
