Definitions

  • the present invention relates to the field of watchmaking and jewelry. It relates, more particularly, to a clasp with a folding clasp for a jewelry or watch bracelet.
  • the document US2018/352915 describes a bracelet clasp with a folding clasp comprising a first section which is articulated on the one hand to a strand of the bracelet, on the other hand to a second section. The latter is also hinged in turn to a cover, to which is attached another strand of bracelet.
  • the first section comprises a locking element in the shape of a mushroom which extends from a surface of the first section.
  • the fungus enters the interior of the cover in the service position, where it is kept in a locked state by sliding latches.
  • two push buttons are provided, extending laterally on either side of the cover. These push buttons are arranged to control the retraction of the locks, which therefore causes the release of the locking element when they are actuated. By doing so, the clasp can be unfolded.
  • this arrangement is relatively complex, in particular at the level of the locks inside the lid, and is not very compact. Indeed, the cover must have a relatively large size in order to accommodate the various components of the locking system.
  • the object of the invention is therefore to provide a folding clasp in which the aforementioned defects are at least partially overcome.
  • the invention relates to a clasp with a folding clasp for a bracelet, as defined by claim 1.
  • This clasp is, of course, arranged to be attached either to two bracelet strands (as in the case of a bracelet for watch), or to a single bracelet in two places of the latter (as in the case of a jewelry bracelet). In the latter case, the bracelet is flexible or articulated to allow the opening of the clasp.
  • the bracelet comprises a first clasp element, a second clasp element hinged to said first element via a hinge, as well as a locking system arranged to hold said clasp in a folded state and to allow the user to put said clasp in an unfolded state following a manual action.
  • the locking system further comprises a bar with pump comprising at least one retractable stud extending axially projecting from a tubular body that said bar comprises, said retractable stud being subjected to a return force tending to maintain it in a position exit.
  • This bar is located in the first clasp element so that said stud can cooperate with a corresponding opening provided in an inner face of a cap which is fixed integrally or pivotally to the second clasp element.
  • inner face is meant a face arranged to be directly facing the first element.
  • the first element is therefore intended to be in contact with the arm of the wearer and can be considered as the lower element of the clasp, serving as a cradle on which the other element (or the others as will be seen below) is hinged.
  • said cap comprises according to the invention at least one pusher mounted in said cap and arranged to cooperate with said retractable stud in order to cause it to come out of said opening, following a user pressing the pusher.
  • said cap comprises according to the invention at least one pusher mounted in said cap and arranged to cooperate with said retractable stud in order to cause it to come out of said opening, following a user pressing the pusher.
  • two retractable studs are provided extending on either side of the bar, each of these studs cooperating with a respective pusher provided on either side of the cap.
  • This construction is in particular very compact, while allowing safe and reliable locking between the two elements of the clasp.
  • said pusher cooperates directly or indirectly with the free end of said stud in order to push it towards the inside of said tubular body following pressure from the user. In doing so, the stud came out of said opening to allow the opening of the clasp.
  • said bar extends between two side walls that said first clasp element comprises, said stud extending projecting from one of the side walls in the service position.
  • these two side walls can be located either at the free end (again at its end which does not include said hinge) of the first element, or at a central position of the latter, if necessary.
  • These side walls can be arranged to nest inside said cap when the clasp is in its folded state.
  • said cap comprises at least one beveled surface located on one of its inner faces, said beveled surface being arranged to push back said retractable stud automatically, that is to say without additional action, when said clasp is brought into its folded state from its unfolded state.
  • each of said clasp elements is arranged to be attached to a respective bracelet strand or to a respective location of a unitary bracelet.
  • said clasp comprises a third clasp element also hinged to said first element and repeating the characteristics of said second element, in particular by being identical or symmetrical with respect to the latter.
  • Two of said pump strips are located adjacent to each other, at a middle position of said first element as mentioned above.
  • each bar is arranged to cooperate with a respective cap.
  • each of the second and third elements is arranged to be attached to a respective bracelet strand or to a respective location of a single bracelet, the second element and the third element being hinged to the first element typically at two respective ends of the latter .
  • THE figures 1 and 2 illustrate a folding clasp 1 according to the invention, respectively in the service position (folded) and in the deployed state (unfolded).
  • the clasp 1 comprises a first clasp element 3 of elongated shape along the main axis of the clasp.
  • This first element 3 is formed by a pair of stretchers 3a located side by side so that they define a gap 5 between them.
  • This construction of the first element 3 can also be considered as being a split blade.
  • the second element 7 In the service position, the second element 7 is located in the gap 5 between the two stretchers 3a of the first element 3, so that that it does not protrude from the upper and lower faces of the latter, in order to maximize the comfort of the wearer.
  • the upper and lower surfaces of the second element 7 are located substantially in the extension of the corresponding surface of the first element 3, but this is not obligatory.
  • the free end of the second element 7 carries a cap 11, hinged to the latter by means of a corresponding hinge 13.
  • the cap 11 can be integral with the second element, or can be integrated therein.
  • the cap 11 comprises means for attaching one end of a bracelet (not shown) or of a single bracelet, if applicable.
  • these means are a pair of openings 15, only one of which is visible in the figures, arranged facing each other in the inner faces of the cap 11 and arranged to cooperate with the pivots of a conventional barrette.
  • Other configurations are also possible.
  • the other bracelet strand or another part of a unitary bracelet can be attached to the first element by means of a nail 17 extending from the end 3b of the first element 3 towards the interior of the cap 11 when the clasp 1 is in the service position, or by any other appropriate attachment means, in particular by a pair of opposite openings similar to those provided in the cap 11.
  • the clasp 1 further comprises a locking system arranged to hold it in its service position, that is to say in a folded state as illustrated in the figure 1 .
  • This locking system is distributed between the first element 3 and the second element 7.
  • the free end 3b of the first element 3, that is to say its end which does not include the hinge 9, includes a bar with pump 19 extending between the side walls 21 that includes said end 3b.
  • This pump bar 19 comprises, as generally known, a tubular body 19a housing at least one element elastic such as a coil spring, an elastomer element or the like (represented schematically by the arrows F), this elastic element providing a restoring force serving to maintain retractable studs 25 (often called “pivots”), with which is provided the bar 19, in their respective extended positions, separated from each other.
  • Each side wall 21 is provided with a through opening 23, in which takes place a respective retractable stud 25, the tubular body 19a being located between the side walls 21.
  • the tubular body 19a of the bar can pass through these openings 23, in particular in the case where the latter is secured to the side walls 21 by being glued thereto, welded, driven in, crimped or the like.
  • the side walls 21 fit inside the cap 11.
  • the studs 25 project from the side walls 21, and take place in corresponding openings provided in the inner side faces 11a of the cap, such that they are held there by the action of the elastic element.
  • the cooperation between the studs 25 and the openings 27 therefore makes it possible to lock the cap 11 on the side walls 21 of the free end 3b of the first clasp element 3, and thus to maintain the clasp 1 in its folded state. .
  • each stud 25 is capable of cooperating with a corresponding pusher 29 with which the cap 11 is provided. takes place in said corresponding opening 27, and which is coaxial with the studs 25 of the pump bar 19.
  • Each actuating finger 31 also includes a bead 31a located at its free end. When the corresponding pusher 29 is released, this bead abuts against a shoulder that said opening 27 includes in order to hold the pusher assembled to the cap 11.
  • a respective spring 33 is arranged between each pusher 29 and the cap 11 in order to serve as a spring for reminder, serving to maintain the pusher 29 in its rest position (not depressed).
  • tappet 29 are also possible, in which they cooperate directly or indirectly with the studs 25.
  • the fingers 31 which are integral in translation with the push-buttons, bear against the free ends of the studs 25 of the bar with pump 19.
  • the studs 25 are then forced to come closer together. relative to the other, against the restoring force F. In doing so, the latter are released from the openings 27 in the cap 11, which separates it from the free end 3b of the first element 3.
  • the second element 7 can thus be pivoted with respect to the first element 3, thus unfolding the clasp 1, in order to bring it into the state illustrated on the picture 2 .
  • the cover 11 moves away from the end 3b, the studs 25 automatically readopt their rest position under the effect of the force F, as soon as the fingers 31 no longer have any action on them.
  • only one pusher 29 could be provided, the retractable end 25 of the bar 19 which is not associated with the pusher 29 being spherical or rounded so as to act as a ball trigger. In doing so, this end can therefore come out of the opening 27 on its own, when the two elements 3, 7 are pivoted relative to each other following the depression of the single pusher 29.
  • the shapes of the clasp elements 3, 7 can also be adapted to the needs of the manufacturer, in particular in terms of their curvatures, the number of stretchers, blades, etc.
  • the second element 7 can be superimposed on the first element 3 in the service position instead of nesting between the stretchers 3a, which is an interesting configuration especially in the case where the two elements 3, 7 are made of sheet metal. stamped. It is also noted that the first part 3 can exceed the hinge 9 significantly.
  • FIG. 5 schematically illustrates a clasp 1 with a double folding clasp, which comprises a third element 8 similar to the second element 7 described above, each of these elements being articulated at a respective end of the first clasp element 3.
  • a midpoint of the latter In the middle in this case
  • Each cap 11 is intended to be fixed at an ad hoc place on a (strand of) bracelet, and can be released from the first element 3 by pressing the push-buttons 29 that it comprises, in the same way as described above. Consequently, in such a variant, the first element 3 is not intended to directly carry one end of a (strand of) bracelet, but is linked to it indirectly via the second 7 and third 8 elements.
