Definitions

  • the invention relates to a handgun with an extractor unit, as well as such an extractor unit for a handgun, according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • the empty cartridge case must be removed from the cartridge chamber of a handgun as reliably as possible before a new cartridge can be fed in during the reloading process.
  • the reliable removal of an unfired cartridge from the cartridge chamber may be necessary for unloading or repeating operations, which take place e.g. in the course of training with the weapon.
  • an extractor is brought into engagement with the cartridge case, usually during the loading and bolting process.
  • a backward movement and/or tilting movement of the breech usually takes place, as a result of which the cartridge case is pulled out of the cartridge chamber.
  • This relative movement is completed with the process of ejecting the cartridge or case, in that an ejector pushes the cartridge case away to one side or is thrown out of the handgun by striking the cartridge case, usually when an ejection opening is reached.
  • the ejector can be fixed to the housing, such as in the grip (also called the pistol frame), or it can also be moved when the shot is fired if it is arranged, for example, in the slide or in a movable bolt head.
  • extractors have a claw or claw shape on the cartridge-facing side to ensure good contact with a groove or the rim of the cartridge.
  • An extractor unit is very often constructed in a similar way to a seesaw in terms of form and function and is movably mounted in the housing or the carriage by means of a bearing pin or pins.
  • a spring applies a force to one lever arm of the extractor, biasing the second lever arm toward the inside of the weapon.
  • extractor units of this type require a certain amount of installation space, since otherwise insufficient leverage on the extractor can lead to impairment of the functioning.
  • the bearing pin is designed as a relatively filigree component relative to the surrounding components, which is difficult or impossible to disassemble under operating conditions, as a result of which cleaning or maintenance of the extractor unit is made considerably more difficult.
  • the extractor is bow-shaped, or also essentially U-shaped, and is prestressed by means of a spring-loaded pressure element in the slide in the direction of the weapon's center plane.
  • the bow-shaped extractor has a first bearing leg, which can be designed to be somewhat wider than the connecting section to the second leg, the extractor leg.
  • the bearing leg is often essentially barrel-shaped and is used for mounting in a bearing opening of the carriage, which runs outwards radially to the barrel bore axis and is no longer visible from the outside when the extractor is inserted.
  • This bearing opening allows a stable seat of the extractor and a limited movement of the extractor about a tilting axis which is normal and laterally offset to the barrel bore axis.
  • the second extractor leg is designed for temporary contact with a cartridge case and deflects slightly during the breech operation deflected "outside" over the edge of the cartridge base in order to attack it or a groove provided for this purpose.
  • the pressure element arrangement comprising an elongate, cylindrical pressure element and at least one pressure element spring, is arranged in a bore in the interior of the carriage.
  • a spring bearing pin can also be provided on the back between the pressure element spring and the cover plate.
  • the bore for receiving the pressure element arrangement is preferably formed at a slightly oblique angle with respect to the bore axis, as is the case, inter alia, from FIG US2011252686A1 is evident.
  • a handgun according to the invention has the features of the characterizing part of claim 1 in order to achieve the above-mentioned tasks.
  • the extractor unit comprises a bow-shaped extractor, a pressure piece, and a spring element.
  • the extractor is bow-shaped, similar to the above-mentioned publications, and has a first bearing leg, which faces the pressure piece when installed, for mounting in the carriage, and a second extractor leg, intended for temporary contact with a cartridge case.
  • the pressure piece comprises a pressure piece body and a pressure piece extension, wherein the pressure piece body is provided for receiving and storing together with the spring element in a frame.
  • the slide of the handgun has a receiving groove for the frame and a maintenance opening in the area of the pressure piece body, which penetrates the slide in the installed state in the direction of the receiving groove.
  • the spring element and the pressure piece body can advantageously already be assembled outside of the weapon, as a result of which the pressure piece is in a pretensioned state.
  • the use of a frame also makes it possible for a spring element, preferably a spiral spring, to be used with a very high spring force. This in turn makes it possible to achieve relatively small dimensions of the extractor unit and yet relatively simple assembly or, in the reverse order, disassembly is possible.
  • the extractor unit is very well concealed within the handgun and preferably only one side of the frame is essentially flush with the surface of the slide. In this way, a surface that is as continuous as possible can be achieved in this area without additional openings, edges or projections. Among other things, this favors the reduction of accumulations in the openings, as can otherwise occur due to soil, dust, dirt, etc.
  • bow-shaped extractors as in the embodiment according to the invention can perform an additional task by entering into a temporary interaction with the firing pin safety.
  • a firing pin safety can be arranged in handguns, preferably in pistols, at the front end of the firing pin, as is the case, inter alia, in EP 2 860 484 A1 is described very well.
  • firing pin safety is in operative connection with the trigger slide and is moved when the trigger slide is actuated in such a way that the path of the firing pin is released. This ensures that the firing pin, which is under the action of the firing pin spring when it is ready to fire, is not set in motion by an impact or a vibration or another event, but that this can only happen by actuating the trigger slide.
  • the firing pin safety is spring-loaded in the slide and roughly has the shape of a cylinder, which has two opposite lateral recesses transverse to the longitudinal axis.
  • One of these recesses which faces the center plane of the weapon, allows the movement of the firing pin in the release position, while the second recess, facing outwards, serves for temporary contact with the extractor, which by this design prevents the firing pin safety from falling out when the firing pin is pulled backwards.
  • the weapon has a central weapon plane that runs through the barrel axis and is oriented vertically, which, cum grano salis, forms a plane of symmetry.
  • the 1 shows an example of an exploded view of the best-known and most widespread extractor unit 2 for GLOCK pistols.
  • the schematic representation comprises a carriage 1, in which a barrel 11 and a return spring group 12 can be accommodated on the underside.
  • a firing pin safety device 15, together with the spring, can be inserted from below into an opening provided for this purpose in the carriage 1 and can be secured against falling out by the extractor 21 in the form described above.
  • the firing pin assembly 14 as well as a pressure element assembly 3 ( 3 ), consisting of a pressure element 31, a pressure element spring 32, and a spring bearing pin 33, is inserted from behind into the carriage 1 and secured by means of the cover plate 16.
  • the installation condition results from a synopsis with 3 , in which the bore for the pressure element arrangement 3, which is designed at an angle to the center plane of the weapon, can also be seen.
  • some grip notches 111 can be seen in the rear area of the carriage 1.
  • the 2 provides a schematic exploded view of a carriage 1 of the same type as a pistol 1 , but with an extractor unit 2 designed according to the invention.
  • the extractor unit 2 consists only of a frame 27, a spring element 26 and a pressure piece 22, which, in order to interact with the extractor 21, are now inserted from the “front” into the carriage 1 can be used.
  • the frame 27 and mounting the pressure piece 22 and the spring element 26 in the frame 27 it is possible to assemble the pressure piece 22 in the direction of the bearing leg 212, and therefore already to prestress it outside of the carriage 1, which means that the assembly this extractor unit 2 is made much easier.
  • the figs 3 and 4 each represent a section along a horizontal plane through a weapon in the installation situation, as viewed from "above” along the vertical direction 93, in areas III - III' of 1 , respectively des Area IV - IV' of 2 , dar.
  • the appearance of the extractor 21 in the figs 3 and 4 is slightly different due to the different sectional planes, which is why the firing pin safety device 15 also appears different.
  • a housing-fixed arrangement of the ejector 18 as in 3 evident is also possible.
  • the ejector 18 in 3 is stationarily situated in a handle (not shown) and interacts with the case base in the manner described above, which is familiar to a person skilled in the art.
  • a maintenance opening 191 is provided in the carriage 1, which is essentially from “below” in the vertical direction 93 through the carriage 1 leads. It is provided in the area of the pressure piece body 221 in such a way that a tool 4 or another narrow makeshift object can be inserted when the weapon is in a partially dismantled state in order to interact with the pressure piece body 221 in such a way that the pressure piece extension 222 is moved "backwards”. .
  • Figure 7a the tool tip abuts against a bevel 224 of the thrust piece body 221, causing the displacement and finally the release of the extractor 21, see FIG Figure 7b , and this can be removed from the weapon, cf. Figure 7c .
  • the tool can then be removed and, if necessary, the frame 27 can be pushed forward in the longitudinal direction of the weapon in order to be removed from the slide.
  • the receiving groove 19 - see also 2 - Adapted to the cross-sectional shape of the frame 27, that is to say designed to be essentially complementary in shape.
  • the shape-complementary design of the receiving groove 19 and the frame 27 can be wedge-shaped, for example, or by means of one or more shoulders in order to ensure that the frame 27 is suitably supported in the carriage 1 .
  • At least one additional guide 271 is formed on the frame 27 and is formed to interact with the receiving groove 19 of complementary shape.
  • a guide 271 on the frame 27 can also be designed on one or both sides and/or wedge-shaped, as would be the case with a dovetail profile, for example.
  • a "T-shaped" configuration of the frame cross section 27 or of the receiving groove 19 is also conceivable.
  • the formation of guides 271 makes it easier to insert the frame 27 during assembly and an extremely stable fit with low surface pressure of the contact surfaces between the carriage 1 and the frame 27 can be achieved.
  • frames 27 are shown schematically by way of example, with such guides 271 running on both sides being clearly visible.
  • such guides 271 can also bring about improved sealing of the carriage 1 to the "outside” and reduce the ingress of dirt, water and the like into the extractor unit.
  • FIG. 8 In the exemplary embodiments in 8 different frames 27 can be seen, which have at least a first and second side part 272 and are held together by means of a connecting piece 273 or connecting section.
  • the connecting piece 273 can preferably have a contour that stands out as little as possible from the weapon contour in the installation situation.
  • the first side part 272 facing the pressure piece 22 has an opening 274 for a pressure piece extension 222 .
  • this opening 274 is preferably designed to be continuous “inside” or “below”, see FIG Figure 8a , but can also only be designed as a hole, see Figures 8b and 8c .
  • this opening 274 in coordination with the pressure piece 22 and the spring element 26, a very space-saving and assembly-friendly design of the frame 27 can be achieved.
  • Figure 10a is an isolated representation of an embodiment of the extractor unit according to the invention in the installation situation can be seen, while the Figure 10b represents the situation in which the extractor 21 is tilted backwards about its tilting axis, i.e. the bearing leg 212, when a case (not shown) is ejected.
  • the extension 275 comes into contact with the frame 27 and supports the extractor in addition to the position extension 212 .
  • the extension 275 can provide the required movement gap between the extractor 21 and the frame 27 in relation to the pressure element arrangement 3 (cf 3 ) Reduce, whereby the pressure piece extension 222 is additionally protected against the ingress of foreign bodies from the outside.
  • Such a bevel 224 should be designed in such a way that it faces the maintenance opening 191 in the installation situation and runs obliquely to an imaginary extension of the pressure piece extension 222 .
  • the schematically illustrated examples according to the invention can be appropriately adapted or modified by a person skilled in the art according to the geometric conditions in the carriage 1 and/or the frame 27 .
  • a rear locking lug on the pressure piece body 221 for guiding the spring element 26 can also be advantageous, as shown in FIG Figures 11a and 11b evident.
  • a comparatively strong or long spring 26 can be used, while the required overall dimensions of the frame 27 can still be kept small.
  • a further aspect of the invention lies in the fact that the dismantling of the frame 27 - with the extractor 21 already removed - is made easier. It is advantageous for this if the receiving groove 19 is designed to reach at least into a first gripping notch 111 . As a result, light pressure in the weapon's longitudinal direction or barrel direction 91 can be applied forwards on the frame 27 and pushed forwards relatively easily out of the receiving groove 19 . Such a far-reaching receiving groove 19 is shown in FIG 2 shown.
  • the invention is not limited to the exemplary embodiments shown and described, but can be modified and configured in various ways.
  • the cross-sectional shapes of the strips, rails, recesses, etc. mentioned can be adapted to the given basic data, and the lengths and positions with respect to the frame can also be easily adapted by a person skilled in the art with knowledge of the invention.
  • substantially means a deviation of up to 10% of the specified value, if physically possible, both downwards and upwards, otherwise only in the sensible direction, for degrees (angle and temperature) means ⁇ 10°.
  • angle and temperature means ⁇ 10°.
  • a “substantially L-shaped cross-section” comprises two elongate surfaces which merge into the end of the other surface at one end and whose longitudinal extension is arranged at an angle of 45° to 120° to one another.
