Description

GEBIET DER ERFINDUNGFIELD OF THE INVENTION

The invention relates to a profile for glazing, such as fixed glazing, an all-glass facade or window, sliding door or insulating glazing, comprising an inside profile element, an outside profile element and a profile element extending between the inside profile element and the outside profile element in the width direction of the profile plastic filling part,
wherein the inside profile element and the outside profile element each have two projections spaced apart from one another in the height direction of the profile, so that the height section of the profile running between the projections forms a receiving volume, and the plastic filling part is connected to the projections, namely preferably glued and pressed.

Furthermore, the invention relates to a glazing comprising a glass or laminated glass pane and at least one profile according to the invention.

Finally, the invention also relates to a method for producing glazing whose profile system does not require any condensate drainage.

STAND DER TECHNIKSTATE OF THE ART

In the prior art, profiles for glazing, for example window or sliding door glazing, are often designed as multi-chamber systems in order to ensure the best possible heat transfer resistance. For example, five-chamber profiles are used in connection with triple-glazed panes.

Since such profiles are not watertight, for example due to dry glazing, known profiles basically require a combination of rebate ventilation and drainage openings in order to be able to drain condensation water, which forms during operation, out of the profile. In order to meet the provisions of ÖNORM B5300 in conjunction with those of ÖNORM EN 14351-1 (in the version applicable on January 30, 2020), controlled drainage must be ensured. This is achieved in particular by a prescribed elevation of 150 mm between the lower edge of the drainage openings and the upper edge of a water-bearing layer, such as a drainage channel, into which the condensation water is to be discharged. These drainage specifications either prevent the profiles from being installed flush with the floor or require complex measures such as special convection heating.

WO 97/22779 A1 , EP 2642060 A1 and EP 2666949 A1 each disclose a profile for glazing comprising a plurality of hollow chambers, with the thermal insulation between an inner and outer shell of the profile being realized by an insulating body which is accommodated in corresponding grooves in the profile.

AUFGABE DER ERFINDUNGOBJECT OF THE INVENTION

The object of the present invention is to provide a profile for glazing, such as fixed glazing, an all-glass facade or window or sliding door glazing, which meets the requirements of ÖNORM B5300, ÖNORM EN 14351-1, ÖNORM EN 13049, ÖNORM B 3716-3, Section 6.2.1, as well as the draft of the guideline "Building waterproofing - Connection to floor-to-ceiling windows and doors - Part 2: Execution", each in the version applicable on January 30, 2020, is sufficient, with an internal and on the outside allows the profile to be installed flush with the ceiling and floor and requires neither condensate drainage nor convection heating.

Furthermore, it is an object of the invention to provide a glazing which brings with it the advantages mentioned above and to propose a method for its production.

DARSTELLUNG DER ERFINDUNGPRESENTATION OF THE INVENTION

An object of the invention is achieved with a profile of the type mentioned by the features of claim 1, with a glazing of the type mentioned by the features of Claim 12 and solved by the features of claim 15 in a method of the type mentioned.

Vorteilhafte Ausführungsformen sind Gegenstand der abhängigen Ansprüche.Advantageous embodiments are the subject matter of the dependent claims.

The profile according to the invention enables standard-compliant sealing of a glazing, for example fixed glazing or a thermal all-glass façade, due to the plastic filling part completely filling the receiving volume over the entire length of the profile. In fact, unlike the prior art, the profile according to the invention does not have any chambers in which air could collect and condense at suitable temperatures; instead, the entire volume of the profile is completely filled, so that on the one hand a satisfactory thermal insulation is achieved, but on the other hand condensation inside the profile, especially inside the volume, is reliably prevented. This means that the profile according to the invention in the operating state in which it is inserted between an inner and an outer floor and also the other cavities of the profile - due to the use of a glass or laminated glass pane, or a similar filling element, such as a sheet metal panel , a window element, or a double plug-in board - are filled in accordance with standards, are completely leak-proof and protected against condensation. This eliminates any need for fold ventilation and drainage openings, so that internal and external floor and ceiling installation is possible without having to provide convection heating or drainage channels.

In particular, when the plastic filling part is glued and pressed to the two profile elements, namely the inside profile element and the outside profile element, the profile according to the invention shows particularly good thermally insulating properties in the operating state. In addition, the formation of condensation inside the profile is particularly reliable, over particularly long periods of time and even with strong Stress on the profile or the corresponding glazing, for example due to heavy rain, is prevented. This effect can be further intensified by providing toothed sections on the insides of the projections facing the receiving volume in order to give the plastic filling part a particularly strong hold by utilizing a barb function and to prevent the plastic filling part from detaching from one of the two profile elements.

Surprisingly, it has been shown that a profile is also suitable for standard-compliant use for glazing if its two profile elements are connected to one another by means of a plastic element made from expanded polystyrene (EPS). Considerable weight savings can be achieved as a result. In addition, the assembly of the profile is considerably simplified compared to known profiles, which leads to a reduction in costs.

In this context, the use of a sintered, highly compressed EPS has proven particularly advantageous.

Particularly good strength properties and particularly high dimensional stability of the profile can be achieved if the density of the expanded polystyrene is in the range from 100 to 400 kg/m3.

The expanded polystyrene preferably has a thermal conductivity in the range from 0.035 to 0.046 W/mK, particularly preferably 0.0459 W/mK, the thermal conductivity being determined in accordance with ÖNORM EN 12667 (in the version applicable on January 30, 2020).

The plastic filling part is particularly preferably made from COMPACFOAM® CF200.

In a preferred embodiment, the inside profile element and the outside profile element are made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy, which aluminum alloy preferably consists mainly of aluminum.

By producing an anodized layer at least on the outer sides of the two profile elements, the profile can be reliably protected against weathering, especially when it comes into contact with a layer of lime in the masonry.

In a further preferred embodiment of the profile according to the invention, the inside comprises Profile element and/or the profile element on the outside, a base profile part having the projections and a plug-in profile part detachably connected to the base profile part.

This greatly simplifies the installation or assembly of the corresponding glazing, since first the profile or a frame formed by several profiles, for example arranged circumferentially, is installed, then the glass or laminated glass pane or another filling element is conveniently installed in the profile or frame can be used before the profile is completed by inserting the plug-in profile parts in the respective base profile parts and thereby the glazing is completed.

Preferably, a height section of the profile arranged in the height direction of the profile above the receiving volume, preferably adjoining the receiving volume, forms a glass support area for receiving at least one glass support, which glass support area is closed laterally by the inside profile element and the outside profile element.

In variants of the profile according to the invention, in which there are further height sections of the profile between the receiving volume and the glass support area, these height sections are also completely filled with a further plastic filling part of the type described above.

A preferred embodiment of the profile according to the invention has a connection area for connecting the profile to other components and/or for mounting the profile on a substrate, which connection area is formed by a height section of the profile that is in front of the receiving volume in the height direction of the profile and laterally by the inside profile element and the outside profile element is completed.

In this way, the profile can be coupled or connected to other components in a simple and stable manner. Besides that the connection area also enables the standard-compliant underlay of blocks, for example supporting blocks, in order to store the profile construction stably on a substructure.

In the connection area, at least one groove, preferably two parallel grooves, running in the longitudinal direction of the profile can preferably be provided for receiving connecting elements, with the inside profile element forming an inside groove wall and/or the outside profile element forming an outside groove wall of a groove in each case.

As a result, the profile can be connected to other components in a particularly simple manner.

One of the objects on which the invention is based is also achieved by glazing comprising a glass or laminated glass pane and/or other filling elements, such as sheet metal panels, and at least one profile of the type described above, with glass supports and at least one swelling strip, which preferably surrounds the glass supports completely fill the glass support area of the profile over the entire length of the profile.

The glazing is thus reliably protected against the formation of condensation and does not require any drainage measures.

Thus, as is the case in a preferred embodiment, the glazing can be made completely tight. For this purpose, it is provided that the glass or laminated glass pane or also the other filling element used in each case is mounted on two glass supports, with an inside joint between the inside profile element and the glass or laminated glass pane and an outside joint between the outside profile element and the glass or Laminated glass pane is sealed by means of a wet glazing.

The glass supports are preferably made from an expanded polystyrene, preferably from COMPACFOAM® CF300, with the strength of the glass supports generally being higher than the strength of the plastic filling part. More detailed specifications of this material can be found in Table 1 in the CF300 column.

This enables a more than sufficiently stable mounting of the glass or laminated glass pane in the profile. At the same time, the glass supports thermally insulate the profile.

  • Bereitstellen eines ersten ein Steckprofilteil aufweisenden Profils der oben beschriebenen Art und zumindest eines dem ersten Profil gegenüberliegenden weiteren ein Steckprofilteil aufweisenden Profils der oben beschriebenen Art;
  • gegebenenfalls Entfernen des Steckprofilteils des ersten Profils und des weiteren Profils, sofern das Steckprofilteil bereits mit dem jeweiligen Basisprofilteil verbunden ist;
  • Einsetzen zweier Glasauflager sowie zumindest eines, vorzugsweise umlaufenden, Quellbandes in den Glasauflagerbereich des ersten Profils;
  • Aufsetzen einer Glas- oder Verbundglasscheibe auf die Glasauflager, gegebenenfalls unter Zwischenlage eines Butylbandes, sodass die Glas- oder Verbundglasscheibe zwischen dem ersten Profil und dem weiteren Profil angeordnet ist;
  • Einsetzen eines Quellbandes in den Glasauflagerbereich des weiteren Profils;
Finally, a method for producing a glazing is presented, which method comprises at least the following method steps:
  • providing a first profile of the type described above having a plug-in profile part and at least one further profile of the type described above having a plug-in profile part opposite the first profile;
  • optionally removing the plug-in profile part of the first profile and the further profile if the plug-in profile part is already connected to the respective base profile part;
  • Insertion of two glass supports and at least one, preferably encircling, swelling strip in the glass support area of the first profile;
  • Placing a pane of glass or laminated glass on the glass support, optionally with a butyl strip interposed, so that the pane of glass or laminated glass is arranged between the first profile and the further profile;
  • inserting a swelling tape in the glass support area of the further profile;
  • Insertion of the plug-in profile part in the first profile and in the further profile in order to close the profiles.

The role of the first and the further profile can also be reversed.

Furthermore, each of the two profiles can be closed by inserting the plug-in profile part into the respective basic profile part, as soon as the glass or laminated glass pane has been inserted and the glass support area of the relevant profile has been filled accordingly.

WEGE ZUR AUSFÜHRUNG DER ERFINDUNGWAYS TO CARRY OUT THE INVENTION

Fig. 1 zeigt einen auf eine Längsrichtung eines Profils 1 orthogonal stehenden Querschnitt einer Verglasung umfassend das erfindungsgemäße Profil 1 sowie eine in das Profil 1 eingesetzte Verbundglasscheibe 11. 1 shows a cross section, orthogonal to a longitudinal direction of a profile 1, of a glazing comprising the profile 1 according to the invention and a laminated glass pane 11 inserted into the profile 1.

The profile 1 comprises an inside profile element 2 and an outside profile element 3, which in turn is a base profile part (at reference number 3 in 1 ) and has a plug-in profile part 6 that can be plugged into this.

In a recording volume, which is formed by a projections 5 (see 1 and 2 ) Limited height section of the profile 1 is formed, a plastic filling part 4 is arranged. The plastic filling part 4 is pressed with barbs 15, which are provided on the outer surfaces of the projections 5 facing the receiving volume, and glued to the inside profile element 2 and the outside profile element 3, namely to its base profile part, by means of an adhesive layer 14, namely in such a way that the Plastic filling part 4, the recording volume, as far as technically possible, completely fills. The term "completely filled" means in connection with the present invention that in the respective "completely filled" volume at most such cavities may remain that are not larger than 5 mm 3 , preferably not larger than 3 mm 3 , particularly preferably not larger than 1 mm 3 , are.

When the profile is in operation, at least two glass supports 9 are arranged in a glass support area 7 adjoining the receiving volume in the height direction, on which glass supports 9 the laminated glass pane 11 is mounted in the profile 1; exactly two glass supports 9 are used for each laminated glass pane 11 . The inner volume of the glass support area 7 not occupied by the glass supports 9 is filled with expanding tape 10, which is arranged around the glass supports 9 and can consist of several individual expanding tapes. Thus, in the operating state of the profile 1, the glass bearing area 7 is also completely filled, as far as this is technically possible.

An inside joint between the inside profile element 2 and the laminated glass pane 11 and an outside joint between the outside profile element 3 or its plug-in profile part 6 and the laminated glass pane 11 is by means of a wet glazing 12 sealed to prevent water ingress into the glass support area 7. The wet glazing 12 does not represent a maintenance joint because a joint width of at least 4 mm in each case can ensure sufficient adhesion to the flanks; in addition, the wet glazing is peeled off at an angle of approximately 15°, which also reduces the stresses acting on the wet glazing 12 .

Due to the fact that the glazing is completely watertight in the operating state and the formation of condensate inside the profile 1 is prevented because the receiving volume or glass support area 7 is completely filled, no drainage means are required in the profile 1 . It is thus possible to install the profile 1 according to the invention flush with a floor 16 without having to provide drainage channels or convection heaters.

In order to be able to connect the profile 1 to other components and/or to be able to store it on a base, if appropriate with the interposition of appropriate storage blocks, the profile 1 comprises a connection area 8. The connection area 8 is defined by a height section of the Profile 1 formed and laterally completed by the inside profile element 2 and the outside profile element 3 and its base profile part.

In the connection area 8, two parallel grooves 13 running in the longitudinal direction of the profile 1 are provided for receiving connecting elements, with the inside profile element 2 forming an inside groove wall and the outside profile element 3 or its base profile part forming an outside groove wall of one of the grooves 13 in each case.

Overall, glazing framed with profile 1 according to the invention meets all the requirements of ÖNORM EN 14351-1, ÖNORM B 5300 (Resistance against wind load, tightness against driving rain, air permeability), ÖNORM EN 13049 and ÖNORM B 3716-3, Section 6.2.1 (Load capacity under impact) as well as the draft of the guideline "Building waterproofing - Connection to floor-to-ceiling windows and doors - Part 2: Execution" , each in the version valid on January 30, 2020. In particular, the backwater test up to the upper edge of profile 1 was passed.
