Abstract

L'invention concerne un matériau d'enveloppe qui contient d'environ 10 % à environ 60 % d'un matériau de tabac. Le matériau de tabac présente une taille de particule relativement importante. Par exemple, le matériau de tabac peut présenter une distribution granulométrique de sorte que plus de 80 % des particules de tabac et des fibres présentent une dimension maximale supérieure à environ 0,025 pouce. Le matériau de tabac est combiné à des fibres de pâte à papier blanchie et à une charge, et est formé sous la forme d'une bande au moyen d'un procédé de fabrication de papier. Le matériau d'enveloppe présente un aspect naturel distinct et un goût de papier moins présent par rapport aux papiers à cigarettes classiques. Le matériau d'enveloppe présente un aspect plus clair et plus blanc que les enveloppes de tabac reconstituées classiques et produit une fumée plus homogène présentant un meilleur aspect de cendre.
