Definitions

  • the invention relates to a pack for products from the cigarette industry, with an outer pack and an inner pack arranged slidably in the outer pack to open or close the pack, according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • packs are also known as packs of the “shell and slide” type .
  • a problem with such packs is that due to the design of the packs, some side walls (usually the end walls) are not designed to be pressure-stable and tend to be pivoted into the pack when pressure is applied to the side wall. This situation can occur, for example, when attaching a foil wrapper, when attaching additional printing media such as banderoles, or when transporting the package.
  • the invention is based on the task of further developing packs of the type mentioned at the outset, in particular with regard to a more stable construction of the pack.
  • a pack according to the invention has the features of claim 1. It is therefore provided that the end wall is supported exclusively by resting the wall on at least one support element, and the at least one support element is folded obliquely with respect to the plane of the wall of which it is part and/or to which it adjoins, directed into the interior of the inner packaging.
  • the wall to be supported in any case rests on preferably several support elements and does not slide past them if, for example, pressure is exerted on the wall to be supported when sealing the outer casing.
  • the wall is in positive contact with one or preferably several support elements.
  • a non-positive connection is alternatively or additionally conceivable.
  • the inner pack has at least one preferably large main wall, in particular a rear wall, and preferably two side walls directed transversely to the main wall, and that the end wall runs transversely to the main wall, and that preferably at least one support element is arranged on both side walls to support the front wall.
  • the front wall can be stably supported on both sides and an inclined position of the front wall can be avoided.
  • a further special feature can be that the end wall to be supported is adjoined by a tab which is arranged parallel to the main wall in the position that at least partially encloses the contents of the pack.
  • the tab has a recess adjacent to a side wall with a support element, such that the tab has a smaller width than the main wall and / or the end wall to be supported, the support element being arranged projecting into the recess.
  • the recess in the tab allows space to be created for the support element.
  • the tab has a recess, the support element being arranged projecting into the recess, and wherein It is preferably provided that the tab has the same width as the main wall and/or the end wall to be supported.
  • a tab which has a smaller width than the main wall and/or the end wall to be supported, and which additionally has a recess for receiving the support element.
  • preferably all support elements do not protrude beyond the inner pack, such that preferably all support elements do not impair the opening or closing of the pack.
  • all support elements are preferably arranged in corner regions of the inner packaging.
  • corner areas of the package outline are particularly suitable for receiving the support elements because there is sufficient space there due to the shape of the package contents.
  • the end wall to be supported is a bottom wall of the inner pack, which is arranged opposite a lid end wall of the inner pack that forms a lid of the inner pack.
  • a further embodiment of the invention can provide that at least one lateral support element is arranged on the tab, which is folded into an interior of the inner packaging and rests on an edge or an edge of a side wall in order to support the end wall.
  • the or each support element rests on an edge or an edge of a side wall, which is formed by folding the support element into the interior of the inner pack.
  • This type of pack is defined by an outer pack 11 (also referred to as a shell or sleeve) and an inner pack 12 (also referred to as a slide or slider) located therein, which is arranged in the outer pack 11 so as to be displaceable in one direction.
  • an outer pack 11 also referred to as a shell or sleeve
  • an inner pack 12 also referred to as a slide or slider
  • the inner package 12 is partially pushed out of the outer package 11 ( Fig. 2 and 4 ).
  • the inner pack 12 is pushed back into the outer pack 11.
  • the outer packaging 11 is usually surrounded by or wrapped in a film wrap 13.
  • the pack 10 has a back 14, an opposite front 15 and two narrow sides 18, 19 connecting the back 14 and the front 15. On the front side, the pack 10 has a top 17 and a bottom 16.
  • the film wrap 13 can be opened with the help of a tear thread 20 which extends transversely around the pack 10.
  • a grip tab 21 of the tear thread 20 is through a
  • U-shaped punching in the material of the film wrap 13 limits and serves to capture a free end of the tear thread 20.
  • the pack 10 is wrapped in the film wrap 13.
  • To close the film wrap 13 is sealed.
  • folding flaps of the film wrap 13 are placed on top of each other and connected or sealed together by applying pressure and heat.
  • folding flaps are trapezoidal and placed on top of each other in multiple overlaps and connected to one another by sealing.
  • Folding flaps in the area of the top 17 are arranged in a simple overlap and connected to one another.
  • a band 22 for example in the form of a usual tax band, can be provided on the pack 10.
  • the outer pack 11 is designed as a sleeve, i.e. with four (closed) side walls and two open end faces.
  • a front wall 23 of the outer pack 11 is located in the area of the front 15 of the pack 10.
  • a rear wall 24 of the outer pack 11 is located in the area of the back 14 of the pack 10.
  • Side walls 25, 26 of the outer pack 11 for connecting the front 23 to the back 24 are located in the area of the narrow sides 18, 19 of the pack 10.
  • the outer pack 11 is dimensioned such that, taking into account the usual manufacturing tolerances, enough space is provided to accommodate the inner pack 12 and the inner pack 12 can be pushed out of or back into the outer pack 11 without much effort.
  • the outer pack 11 or its clear interior is dimensioned so that the inner pack 12 is well guided when moving.
  • the inner pack 12 is formed from a one-piece blank 28 made of packaging material, for example (thin) cardboard or the like. 6 and 7 each show approximately one half of the blank 28, which is designed symmetrically to its longitudinal central axis.
  • Walls are formed in the blank 28 and are delimited from one another by fold lines 29.
  • a plug-in tab 30, a bottom wall 31, a rear wall 32, an intermediate wall 33, a top wall 34 and a plug-in tab 35 follow one another in the longitudinal direction
  • Both sides of the rear wall 32 and the intermediate wall 33 extend side tabs which form side walls 36, 37 of the inner pack 12.
  • the side flaps of the blank 28 are also delimited from the rear wall 32 and the intermediate wall 33 by fold lines 29.
  • the inner pack 12 When the inner pack 12 is partially pushed out of the outer pack 11, the inner pack 12 can be opened by pivoting the insert tab 35, top wall 34 and intermediate wall 33 in order to gain access to the pack contents 27.
  • the tab 35 When closing the pack 10, the tab 35 is inserted between the front wall 23 and the pack contents 27 and the inner pack 12 is pushed back into the outer pack 11.
  • the blank 28 does not have an actual front wall. Only the plug-in tabs 30, 35 are located in the plane of an imaginary front wall when the pack 10 is closed.
  • the walls of the inner packaging 12 are formed over the entire surface or closed. This can also be deviated from if necessary.
  • the walls of the inner pack 12 extend along corresponding side surfaces of the pack contents 27, which in the exemplary embodiments shown is formed by two cigarette groups which are arranged side by side in the inner pack 12 and which are each individually wrapped in an inner pack to form a film block 38.
  • cigarettes are elongated, rod-shaped objects that may or may not contain tobacco.
  • cigarettes there are, for example, cigarillos, cigars, e-cigarettes and parts or accessories thereof, heat-not-burn products and the like, etc.
  • a special feature is the support elements 39, 40, which support the bottom wall 31 when the pack 10 is closed.
  • the support elements 39 each adjoin the free side edges of the side walls 36, 37 and are delimited from the side walls 36, 37 by a fold line 29.
  • the support elements 39 are arranged at a short distance from the lower end of the side walls 36, 37. There is a support element 39 in this position on each side wall 36, 37.
  • the support elements 39 are folded along the fold line 29 into the interior of the inner pack 12, so that the support elements 39 run at an angle to the side walls 36, 37.
  • the angle can be, for example, between 25° and 65°, in particular between 35° and 55°, preferably around 45°. Larger or smaller angles are also conceivable.
  • the angles can be designed to match or differ on both side walls 36, 37.
  • the pocket pocket 30 has a smaller width than the bottom wall 31 in order to create space for the angled support elements 39, which engage in side recesses 41 next to the pocket tab 30 ( Fig. 8 ).
  • the support elements 39 rest in some areas with an edge or an edge on an edge of the insertion tab 30.
  • the support elements 39 are approximately trapezoidal and are provided with a bevel 42 on the top side (in the direction of the top 18 of the pack 10).
  • the support elements 40 are each formed by a part of the side walls 36, 37, namely each by an approximately triangular surface around the lower, outer corner region of the side walls 36, 37.
  • the support element 40 is delimited from the rest of the side walls 36, 37 by a fold line 29 directed obliquely to the edges of the side walls 36, 37 and is folded inwards as in the first exemplary embodiment.
  • the bottom wall 31 is supported by placing an edge or an edge of the support elements 40 on the bottom wall 31.
  • the space requirement in this variant is smaller because the support elements 40 do not connect to the side walls 36, 37. Accordingly, in this solution the support elements 40 do not protrude into the recesses 41 on either side of the insertion tab 30.
  • support elements 40 are provided, which are formed in side walls 36, 37 of the blank 28.
  • the support elements 40 are each arranged in a corner area of the side walls 36, 37 and are delimited from the rest of the blank 28 or the side walls 36, 37 of the same by a transverse fold line 29 and a transverse punch cut 43.
  • the support elements 40 are each folded inwards into the inner pack 12 about the fold line 29, so that they run at an angle to the side walls 36, 37, as in the previous exemplary embodiments.
  • the support elements 40 rest against the bottom wall 31 with an edge or edge. Since the support elements 40 do not protrude beyond the side walls 36, 37, no recesses 41 are required in the insertion tab 30.
  • the solution shown in the fourth exemplary embodiment is essentially comparable to the first exemplary embodiment.
  • Support elements 39 are also provided here, which connect to side walls 36, 37 of the blank 28.
  • no recesses 41 are provided on either side of the insertion tab 30, into which the support elements 39 protrude.
  • the support elements 39 are aligned on the underside with the (transverse) edge of the blank 28 or the side walls 36, 37.
  • support elements 39 are used as in the first exemplary embodiment. However, these support elements 39 do not engage in recesses 41 next to the insertion tab 30, but in recesses 44 which are formed in the insertion tab 30 itself.
  • the tab 30 here has the same width as the adjoining walls of the blank 28.
  • the recesses 44 in the insertion tab 30 are formed by edge-side pivot tabs 45, each of which is delimited by a fold line 29 and two punched cuts 43. By pivoting the pivot tabs 45 around the fold line, space can be created to accommodate the support elements 39.
  • the support of the bottom wall 31 results here from the contact of the support elements 39 on the edges of the recess 44.
  • support elements 40 are provided which, as in the second and fourth exemplary embodiments, are integrated into the side walls 36, 37 and which are pivoted inwards in order to support the bottom wall 31.
  • support elements 46 are provided on both sides of the insertion tab 30, which are supported on an edge of the side walls 36, 37, namely in the area of the support elements 40.
  • the support elements 46 are arranged to be pivotable on opposite edges of the tab 30 via a fold line 29 and, like the support elements 40, can be pivoted towards the interior of the inner pack 12 so that they rest on an edge of the side walls 36, 37, which becomes free by pivoting the support elements 40 . In this position, the bottom wall 31 is additionally supported by the support elements 46.
  • the insertion tab 30 has a smaller width than the adjoining walls of the blank 28.
  • the bottom wall 31 is supported.
  • the solution can in principle also be used with the top wall 34 or with other walls, in particular with other types of packing.
