Definitions
- the present invention relates to a window or door sash which has a sash frame formed from sections of a hollow chamber profile and having a rebate area; a surface element received in the rebate area, which is preferably designed as insulating glazing; a glass retaining bead stabilizing the surface element received in the rebate area; and a glass rebate insert inserted into the rebate area.
- the present invention relates to a window or a door which comprises a window frame or a frame as well as a window or door sash according to the invention received in the window frame or in the frame.
- Windows with such sashes are widely known in the prior art, in particular through prior public use.
- DE 39 23 288 A1 such a wing and a corresponding glazing rebate insert described.
- the disadvantage of that in the DE 39 23 288 A1 It is seen that the force exerted by the glazing bead on the surface element acts via the rigid surface element on the profile side of the hollow chamber profile located on the weather side. This can lead to optically perceptible deformations on the outer surface of the hollow chamber profile. In addition, the outer overlap can be pushed outwards when the force is correspondingly high.
- the object of the present invention is to provide a window or door sash which overcomes the disadvantages of the prior art.
- the risk of a visually perceptible deformation on the outer surface of the hollow chamber profile should be reduced.
- the outer overlap of the wing according to the invention should not be pressed outward when the force is correspondingly high.
- Preferred embodiments of the window or door sash according to the invention are described in the dependent claims. According to the present invention, it was recognized that externally visible deformations of the hollow chamber profile can be avoided in that the surface element received in the sash does not press against the hollow chamber profile, even if the glazing bead exerts a high force on the surface element. According to the invention, this is achieved in that the surface element presses at least in sections against a corresponding contact leg of the glass rebate layer that is provided for this purpose.
- the surface element can thus rest against an external overlap of the sash frame without tension, so that there are no deformations that are visually perceptible from the outside. Since the force transmitted by the surface element is absorbed by the contact leg of the glazing rebate insert, no force is exerted on the outer cover layer by the surface element, so that it is not pressed outwards.
- the present invention lies in the provision of a window or door sash which has a sash frame formed from sections of a hollow chamber profile and having a rebate area; a surface element received in the rebate area, which is preferably designed as insulating glazing; a glass retaining bead stabilizing the surface element received in the rebate area; and a glass rebate insert inserted in the rebate area, the window or door sash being characterized according to the invention in that the glass rebate insert comprises a contact leg which rests on the side of the surface element facing away from the glass retaining bead.
- the present invention relates to a window or a door which comprises a frame or a frame as well as a window or door sash according to the invention received in the frame or in the frame.
- window or door sash preferably refers to a sash of a plastic window or a plastic door.
- metal windows or metal doors as well as composite windows and composite doors are also possible.
- the main material of the sash profile of the window or door sash according to the invention is polyvinyl chloride (PVC), in particular hard PVC (PVC-U) or glass fiber reinforced PVC, which also has additives such.
- PVC polyvinyl chloride
- PVC-U hard PVC
- glass fiber reinforced PVC which also has additives such.
- B. stabilizers, plasticizers, pigments and the like are added, preferred.
- PVC can be dyed or dyed well and hardly absorbs water.
- the term "resting" of the surface element on the contact leg of the glazing rebate insert means that the force transmitted from the glass retaining bead to the surface element is essentially absorbed by the glazing rebate insert. Is to it is not necessary that the contact leg is in direct contact with the surface element. It is also possible that the force is transmitted indirectly, for example via a protective element, to the contact leg of the glazing rebate insert.
- the contact leg comprises a protective element on its side facing the surface element.
- the contact leg of the glazing rebate insert rests only indirectly, namely via the protective element, on the side of the surface element facing away from the glazing bead.
- a protective element prevents damage to the surface element in the areas in which it rests on the contact leg of the surface element. In the case of double glazing, this can prevent glass breakage.
- the protective element is preferably designed as a strip made of a soft elastic material, which is attached to the side of the contact leg facing the surface element.
- the glazing rebate insert is fixed in the rebate area by means of a latching connection. This represents a simple, stable and easy-to-produce fastening of the glazing rebate insert on the hollow chamber profile.
- the glazing rebate insert can be fixed in the rebate area by a fastening means.
- a fastening means This represents a particularly easy to produce and highly stable type of connection between the glazing rebate insert and the hollow chamber profile.
- screws, bolts, nails, a rivet or the like can be used as fastening means independently of one another, with Screws are preferable.
- the rebate base of the rebate area is step-shaped and the glass rebate insert compensates for the level of the rebate base at least in sections. In this way, the glazing rebate insert can only extend over a section of the rebate base. In spite of the sufficient stability of the glazing rebate insert, material can be saved.
- a facing shell is arranged on the hollow chamber profile of the sash.
- the present invention is particularly advantageous for wings with facing shells, because in wings according to the invention with facing shell, the surface element presses against the support leg of the glazing rebate insert and not against the facing shell. The facing shell can thus be removed and / or exchanged without removing the surface element from the casement.
- Preferred materials for the facing are in particular metallic materials such as steel, stainless steel, aluminum or other alloys containing them, but also polymer materials such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC), in particular hard PVC (PVC-U) or post-chlorinated PVC, polyamides , Polyphenylene sulfone (PPSU), polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), polyether sulfone (PES), polysulfone (PSU), polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer (ABS), polyoxymethylene (POM), polyester carbonate (PESC) and ASA (acrylonitrile) Styrene-acrylic ester terpolymer), as well as copolymers and blends of these polymers, it being possible for these polymer materials to be fiber-reinforced, in particular glass fiber-reinforced, as well as composite materials made of the materials mentioned.
- PVC polyvinyl

Abstract
Description

Fig. 1 nach unten verlängert.
