Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a system, a method and a printing apparatus for processing pieces of hose.
  • So-called paper floor layers are often used for the production of paper bags, in particular for the production of the bottoms of paper bags.
  • the paper floor layers have two sides along which the respective ends of a paper tube are processed, for example opened and folded and printed.
  • the paper floor layers often have printing apparatuses for applying a print image to the tube pieces transported along the paper floor layer.
  • the problem here is that the print quality is rather low, in particular in the case of large-area prints, which means that, for example, the coloring of a printed area is not exactly the same Coloring of pre-printed parts of the hose pieces corresponds.
  • the hose pieces or cover sheets that can be applied to the hose pieces are mainly printed on upstream independent printing machines.
  • order changes are particularly problematic. Order changes often mean a considerable effort, since the entire production usually has to be stopped in order to make the necessary complex color changes within the printing presses. Such color changes are necessary even if the paper bag ordered differs in two successive orders only in details, for example with regard to the color of a single element of the print.
  • the time delays within the upstream printing machines also mean longer downtimes within paper bag production and are therefore disadvantageous, particularly with regard to the productivity of the systems mentioned.
  • the object of the invention is therefore to propose a system for printing on hose pieces and / or bag components which has shorter downtimes compared to known systems with the same or higher product quality and thereby achieves higher productivity.
  • a system for processing hose pieces and / or bag components has at least one transport device for transporting hose pieces and / or bag components in a transport direction (x) and at least one processing station for processing hose pieces and / or Bag components includes. It is further provided according to the invention that at least one processing station is formed as a printing apparatus for applying additional printing to hose pieces and / or bag components provided with pre-printed images, the printing apparatus being designed and arranged within the system such that additional printing is carried out on the tubular parts provided with pre-printed images and / or bag components can be applied as a function of the form in order to minimize the number of print image changes when applying print images to tube pieces and / or bag components.
  • a major advantage of the invention which is obtained when the overprint is applied as a function of the form, is that the number of color changes within upstream printing processes can be reduced, which significantly reduces the downtimes of a system according to the invention and thus with the same or better Product quality enables higher productivity with regard to the production of paper bags.
  • the system in question for processing tube pieces and / or bag components is used in particular for processing paper tubes.
  • the system in question can also be used to process plastic hoses, fabric hoses, rubber hoses and the like.
  • a form is to be understood in particular as a printing section which is larger in area than an additional printing area and which can serve, for example, as advertising space or as an area for product designation, type designation or type designation of the relevant product to be arranged within the hose pieces and / or the bag components and in time before one subsequent printing takes place.
  • a form is in particular carried out on a printing machine upstream of the system according to the invention.
  • the form does not necessarily have to be visually visible, but can also be formed as UV printing or the like, which is only visible by means of irradiation with UV light.
  • a form can also be understood to mean pretreatment, such as the pretreatment or wetting of adhesive surfaces or the application of emulsions or the like.

  • Distribution regions or the like can be formed and additionally applied to a piece of hose and / or a bag component after a pre-print.
  • a print image changeover within the scope of the invention also means, in particular, a changeover or changeover of an inking unit of a printing device for a new job.
  • said print image changes within printing apparatuses are regarded as disadvantageous or particularly complex.
