Definitions
- the present invention relates to a plastic shipping bag and its use for shipping food, especially refrigerated food.
- Mailing bags and shipping bags have long been manufactured and used in a variety of shapes and from a wide variety of materials.
- the EP 1 382 542 A1 is based on a thermally insulating plastic carrier bag containing two flexible plastic walls, on the inside of which a thermal insulation layer is attached, which comprises a flat film and a wavy layer arranged thereon. In this way, it should be possible to provide a thermally insulating plastic carrier bag that can be produced inexpensively and whose raw materials take up little space during storage and transport.
- the WO 2005/092713 A2 discloses a carrying bag for food, in particular for frozen food, consisting of two side parts connected at their edges, which form a common bottom part and an upper pocket opening and are each equipped with a handle on their insides, with one side part having a slot above the attachment level of the two handles owns. In this case, one side part has to have a greater height than the other side part.
- This projection is designed as an envelope flap, with the slot made in this envelope flap and designed to accommodate both handles. Furthermore, the flap must be connected to the outer surface of the other side part via a closure element that extends over the entire width of the carrying bag.
- the GB2549207 is directed to a container for transporting consumer goods which is sealable and which has one or more internal handles so that the container can be used as a carrying bag in an unsealed configuration.
- shipping bags and Shipping bags often have to meet special requirements during packaging, transport and delivery in order to ensure smooth and complication-free handling at all times.
- the transport on treadmills or conveyor belts also has to function regularly and without errors.
- Special requirements and special care must be taken with such shipping bags, which have a more complex structure due to the more sensitive goods that have to be stored and transported with them. So far there has been no lack of attempts to find suitable solutions for specific tasks. Nevertheless, mailing bags, especially those that are equipped with carrying handles, still leave something to be desired.
- the present invention was therefore based on the object of making shipping bags available which no longer suffer from the disadvantages of the prior art and which are particularly easy to manufacture and easy to handle, although, even if equipped with holding loops or handles, provide a safe and secure way to ensure reliable transport of sensitive or high-quality goods, especially food.
- a plastic mailing bag having a closed or substantially closed bottom end and an opposing opening end comprising a front wall having an inside and an outside and a rear wall having an inside and an outside, each with a first side edge and an opposing second side edge and an opening edge and a bottom edge, wherein the front wall and the rear wall are connected to one another in the area of their first and second side edges and their bottom edges at least in sections directly or via side walls or side folds and a floor area or a bottom fold, the front wall and the rear wall and optionally the side walls at least in sections, in particular in each case Area from the bottom edge to the opening end, is or are designed in multiple layers, in particular double, three, four or five layers, comprising an inner layer and an outer layer and optionally at least one intermediate layer, as well as at least one on the opening edge, the inside or the outside, in particular the inside, of the front wall and at least one handle or holding loop attached to the inside of the rear wall at or below the opening edge, the front wall having a first length which
- plastic shipping bags according to the invention food can be transported safely and reliably, even via a shipping service or shipping company, without affecting its quality or freshness.
- the plastic shipping bags according to the invention can be used to ensure that transported food is protected from contamination and that the recipient recognizes whether unauthorized access to the transported goods could have occurred.
- the front wall and the rear wall are at least three-fold only in the area close to the floor, for example in their respective lower third, in particular including the floor area, for example the bottom fold. are designed with four or five layers.
- the sections of the front and rear walls adjoining these sections can then, for example, be designed in two layers.
- the closure tab can represent a separate single- or multi-layer, in particular double-layer, film layer which is connected to the outer layer and/or the inner layer, in particular the outer layer, of the rear wall, for example glued or welded.
- the closure tab is preferably an integral part of the outer layer of the rear wall and is therefore in one piece with it.
- the closure tab is designed in two layers and is expediently formed by folding the section of the outer layer of the rear wall that projects beyond the opening edge of the front onto itself, preferably forming a fold at the turning point. This embodiment saves material and at the same time provides a very stable, securely lockable bag.
- the closure flap in that section which is opposite the opening edge of the closure flap with respect to the fastening means has at least one first weakening zone, which is spaced from or from the first side edge in the direction of or up to second side edge and which preferably extends from the first side edge to the second side edge.
- This first weakening zone can be, for example, a perforation line.
- a first weakening zone or perforation line is still present in the closure tab even if it runs in the area or at the height of the opening edge of the front wall, in particular essentially congruent with the course of the opening edge of the front wall.
- the closure tab in the section which lies opposite the fastening means with respect to the passage opening has at least one first weakening zone, which is spaced from or from the first side edge in the direction of or up to second side edge extends and in particular extends from the first side edge to the second side edge.
- the first weakening zone, in particular perforation line is in a first section from or spaced from the first side edge in the direction of or up to the opening, preferably from the first side edge to the opening, and in a second Section extends from or spaced from the passage opening in the direction of or to the second side edge, preferably from the passage opening to the second side edge.
- the passage opening is part of the first weakening zone.
- the first weakening zone is divided into two sections, the first section of the first weakening zone being spaced from or from the first side edge in the direction of or up to the section of the passage opening adjacent thereto extends and wherein the second section of the first weakening zone extends at a distance from or from the second side edge in the direction of or up to the section of the passage opening adjacent thereto.
- a passage opening is to be understood as meaning an opening, including a slot, through which the holding loop or handle of the front wall and/or rear wall, in particular the front and rear wall, can be passed.
- the first weakening zone is preferably designed in such a way that in the first section it occupies the shortest possible extension from the first side edge to the passage opening and / or, preferably and, that it has the shortest possible extension in the second section from the passage opening to the second side edge.
- this first weakening zone in particular perforation line, runs in the closure flap essentially at the same height or essentially parallel to the opening edge of the front wall or, in particular up to 2.5 or up to 1.5 cm, in the direction of The opening edge of the closure tab is spaced apart from this.
- the plastic shipping bag according to the invention is equipped in one embodiment with a closure tab which has at least a second weakening zone, in particular a perforation line, in the section that extends from the passage opening to the fastening means, which extends at a distance from or from the first side edge, preferably from the first side edge, in the direction of or to the second side edge, preferably to the second side edge.
- the second weakening zone is spaced closer to the fastener than the first weakening zone.
- the first and second weakening zones run essentially parallel to one another.
- the closure tab in the section that extends between the passage opening and the fastening means has at least one second weakening zone, which is spaced from or from the first side edge in the direction of or up to the second Side edge extends and in particular from the first page edge extends to the second page edge.
- the second weakening zone, in particular perforation line is in a first section from or spaced from the first side edge in the direction of or up to the opening, preferably from the first side edge to the opening, and in a second Section extends from or spaced from the passage opening in the direction of or to the second side edge, preferably from the passage opening to the second side edge.
- the passage opening is therefore part of the second weakening zone.
- the second weakening zone is divided into two sections, with the first section of the second weakening zone extending at a distance from or from the first side edge in the direction of or up to the section of the passage opening adjacent thereto and the second section extending from the second Weakening zone spaced from or extends from the second side edge in the direction of or up to the adjacent section of the passage opening.
- the second weakening zone is preferably designed in such a way that in the first section it occupies the shortest possible extension from the first side edge to the passage opening and / or, preferably and, that it has the shortest possible extension in the second section from the passage opening to the second side edge.
- the passage opening in the closure tab is preferably designed as a handle hole or punched hole or as an opening slot.
- the passage opening is preferably arranged and aligned in the closure tab in such a way that the first handle or the first holding loop and / or the second handle or the second holding loop are closed when the closure flap is folded over onto the outside of the front wall through this passage opening the opening end of the plastic shipping bag can be passed through. If the closure tab is multi-layered, in particular double-layered, the circumferential edge of the handle or punch hole or the opening slot can be welded or glued in sections or completely.
- the front wall and at the same time the rear wall are designed to be double-layered.
- the at least one fastening means present between the opening edge and the passage opening preferably represents an adhesive area or in particular an adhesive strip.
- This adhesive area or this adhesive strip can be in an expedient embodiment be covered with a removable protective layer, for example in the form of siliconized paper. If you want to close the plastic shipping bag, this protective layer must be removed before the closure flap containing the adhesive area or the adhesive strip is folded over onto the outside of the front wall and the closure flap forms an adhesive connection with this outside of the front wall while closing the openings.
- the inner layer of the front and/or rear wall, in particular the front and rear wall, of the plastic shipping bag according to the invention expediently comprises or represents a foamed plastic film or bubble plastic film, preferably a foamed polyolefin film, particularly preferably a foamed polyethylene film and in particular a foamed LD polyethylene film
- a foamed plastic film or bubble plastic film preferably a foamed polyolefin film, particularly preferably a foamed polyethylene film and in particular a foamed LD polyethylene film
- this can be designed as a, in particular closed-cell, foamed plastic film or as a bubble plastic film.
- a foamed polyolefin film is used, particularly preferably a foamed polyethylene film and in particular a foamed LD polyethylene film.
- the outer layer of the front and/or rear wall does not comprise any bubble plastic film, nor any foamed plastic film, preferably no foamed polyolefin film, particularly preferably no foamed polyethylene film and in particular no foamed LD polyethylene film, and does not represent such either.
- the outer layer of the front and/or rear wall, in particular of the front and rear wall comprises or represents a plastic film, preferably a polyolefin film, particularly preferably a polyethylene film and in particular an LD polyethylene film one such.
- the plastic shipping bag according to the invention does not have side walls or side gussets.
- the handles of the plastic shipping bags according to the invention preferably contain HD polyethylene or are formed.
- a particularly preferred material for the inner and outer layers of the front and back walls is LD polyethylene resorted to. This regularly ensures that the handles are reliably welded to the front and rear walls.
- Such plastic shipping bags according to the invention have proven to be particularly useful, in which the handle of the front wall and the handle of the rear wall form a pair of handles that can be reversibly connected to one another. It has often proven to be particularly useful for the bag according to the invention to connect the handle of the front wall with a welding strip.
- the handle or the holding loop of the front wall, in particular the welding strip of the handle of the front wall is expediently welded to the inside of the front wall, in particular to the folded continuation edge section, particularly preferably in the overlapping section of the inner layer and the continuation edge section and, if necessary, the at least one intermediate layer.
- the handle of the rear wall is also connected to a welding strip.
- the handles of the front wall and rear wall are each in one piece with the corresponding welding strip.
- the handle or the handle loop of the rear wall, in particular the welding strip of the handle of the rear wall is connected to the inside of the rear wall, in particular with the folded-over continuation edge section, particularly preferably with the overlapping section of the inner layer with the folded-over continuation edge section and, if appropriate, the at least one intermediate layer, welded.
- the welding of the handle or the holding loop of the front wall preferably extends in the overlapping section to the outer layer of the front wall.
- the welding of the handle or the holding loop of the rear wall in the overlapping section extends to the outer layer of the rear wall.
- the welding strips of the plastic shipping bags according to the invention preferably contain or are formed from HD polyethylene. It is particularly preferred to use LD polyethylene as the material for the inner and outer layers of the front and rear walls. This regularly ensures reliable welding of the welding strips to the front or rear wall; for many applications it has proven to be expedient to dimension the width of the welding strips to be smaller than the width of the front or rear wall. In this way, the welding strips can be connected particularly conveniently and reliably to the inner layer of the front or rear wall.
- the object on which the invention is based is achieved particularly reliably with plastic shipping bags according to the invention, in which the outer layer of the layer forming the front wall has a continuation edge section in the area of the opening edge, which is folded over onto the outside of the inner layer of the front wall and forms an overlapping section with this inner layer, wherein the continuation edge section and the inner layer are connected to one another, in particular welded, in the overlapping section.
- the area in which the previously mentioned layers are connected or welded within this overlapping section is also called the “first connection area”.
- the object on which the invention is based is also achieved with an embodiment in which the continuation edge section, the inner layer and the outer layer or the continuation edge section, the inner layer, the at least one intermediate layer and the outer layer, are expediently connected to one another in this first connection area, in particular welded , available.
- the folded continuation edge section of the front wall essentially completely overlaps with the inner layer of the front wall.
- the welding of adjacent layers is preferably designed to overlap, i.e. the welding extends in a uniform area through all layers present in this area.
- the inner layer and the at least one intermediate layer or the at least one intermediate layer and the outer layer to be connected to one another, in particular welded, in the overlapping section.
- the layer forming the outer layer of the rear wall has a continuation edge section in the area of the opening edge, which is folded over onto the outside of the inner layer of the rear wall and forms an overlapping section with this inner layer, wherein this continuation edge section and the inner layer and in particular also the inner layer and the outer layer and optionally the inner layer and the at least one intermediate layer and the at least one intermediate layer and the outer layer are connected to one another, in particular welded, in the overlapping section.
- the area in which the previously mentioned layers are connected or welded within this overlapping section is also called the “second connection area”.
- the layer forming the outer layer of the rear wall has a continuation edge section in the area of the opening edge, which is folded over onto the outside of the inner layer of the rear wall and with this inner layer forms an overlapping section, wherein the continuation edge section and the inner layer are connected to one another, in particular welded, in the overlapping section.
- the folded continuation edge section of the rear wall preferably has no overlap with the inner layer of the rear wall in the area of the passage opening of the closure tabs.
- the extension of the Inner layer of the front wall in the direction of the opening end and the extension of the inner layer of the rear wall in the direction of the opening end preferably substantially coincide.
- the handle or the handle loop of the front wall in particular the welding strip of the handle of the front wall, is connected, in particular welded, to the area of the inside of the front wall in a connection area which is formed by that section of the folded continuation edge section which does not overlap the inner layer, in particular an overlap exclusively with the outer layer of the front wall (also called “third connecting area”).
- the handle or the handle loop of the rear wall in particular the welding strip of the handle of the rear wall, is connected, in particular welded, to the area of the inside of the rear wall in a connection area which is formed by that section of the folded continuation edge section which has no overlap with the inner layer, in particular an overlap exclusively with the outer layer of the rear wall (also called "fourth connection area").
- first and third connection areas are particularly preferably separated from one another.
- second and fourth connection areas are also separated from one another.
- Figure 1 shows a schematic perspective top view of a plastic shipping bag 1 according to the invention with a closed bottom end 2 and an opposite opening end 4.
- the plastic shipping bag 1 has a front wall 6 with an inside 8 and an outside 10 and a rear wall 12 with an inside 14 and an outside 16.
- the Front wall 6 and rear wall 12 are each equipped with a first side edge 18, 18' and an opposite second side edge 20, 20' as well as an opening edge 22, 22' and a bottom edge 24, 24'.
- the front wall 6 and the rear wall 12 are connected to one another in the area of their first and second side edges 18, 18 'and 20, 20' and via a bottom fold 26.
- the front wall 6 and the rear wall 12 are designed to be double-layered, each comprising a foamed (not shown) inner layer 28, 28 'and a single-layer, non-foamed outer layer 30, 30'.
- a handle 32 on the inside in the area of the opening edge 22 of the front wall 6.
- the handle 32 is connected in one piece to a welding strip 40, which in turn is on the outside of the inwardly folded outer layer of the front wall of the plastic shipping bag according to the invention 1 rests and is welded to it.
- the opening edge 22 'of the rear wall 12 there is a second handle 34 on the inside that is integrally connected to a welding strip 42, the welding strip 42 also being connected to the rear wall by means of welding over the outside of the outer layer folded inwards.
- the front wall 6 has a length that is shorter than the length of the rear wall 12. Accordingly, the rear wall 12 protrudes beyond the front wall 6 at the opening end 4.
- This section 36 also called “closing tab” protruding beyond the front wall 6 can be folded over onto the outside of the front wall 6 and in this way close the opening end 4.
- this closure tab 36 is located essentially centrally above a passage opening 38 (see also Figure 2 ).
- the handles 32 and 34 of the front 6 and rear wall 12 can be passed through this passage opening 38.
- the closure tab 36 of the plastic shipping bag 1 according to Figure 1 also has at least one fastening means in the form of an adhesive strip 48 between the opening edge 22, 22 'and the passage opening 38. After folding the closure tab 36 onto the outside of the front wall 6, the opening end 4 can be closed in this way, thereby ensuring safe and reliable transport.
- Figure 2 shows the already described plastic shipping bag 1 according to the invention in a closed state in a side view of the front wall 6.
- the handle 32 of the front wall 6 and the handle 34 of the rear wall 12 are connected to one another.
- the closure tab 36 is folded onto the front wall 6.
- the closure tab 36 can be attached to the front wall 6 using the fastening means in the form of the adhesive strip 48, with the connected handles 32 and 34 being inserted through the passage opening 38.
- Figure 3 shows a cross-sectional view of the already described plastic shipping bag 1 in the open state.
- Figure 3 shows that both the front wall 6 and the rear wall 12 are provided with an inside 8, 14 and an outside 10, 16 and in the embodiment shown these are each designed in double layers with an inner layer 28, 28 'and an outer layer 30, 30' .
- the welding of the welding strips 40 and 42 takes place on the outer layer 30 of the front wall 6, which is folded onto the inside at the opening end, or on the outer layer 30 'of the rear wall 12, which is folded inwards at the opening end and forms the closure tab.
- the welding strips 40 and 42 from the front and rear wall are therefore present on the inside of the shipping bag according to the invention shown.
- the inner layer 28' of the rear wall 12 extends into the lower region of the closure tab 36, whereby an overlapping area is formed.
- the outer layer 30 'of the rear wall 12, which is folded inwards and forms the closure tab, the inner layer 28' of the rear wall 12 and the outer layer 30' of the rear wall 12 which is not folded inwards and is on the outside, are adjacent in sections.
- the three overlapping layers mentioned are completely welded together in sections.
- the handle 34 of the rear wall 12 is welded to the rear wall 12 on the inside. Accordingly, in the embodiment shown, the welding areas described above do not overlap, but are separated from one another.
- the embodiment of a plastic shipping bag according to the invention 1 according to Figure 3 is further characterized in that the front wall 6 is provided with a corresponding overlap area in which the inner layer 28 of the front wall 6, the outer layer 30 of the front wall 6 on the outside and the outer layer 30 of the front wall 6, which is folded inwards at the opening end 4, are welded together .
- the inner layer 28 again does not extend into the area in which the handle 32 of the front wall 6 is welded to the inside of the front wall 6.
- FIG. 3 The illustrated embodiment of a plastic shipping bag 1 according to the invention is characterized by particularly pronounced stability with the lowest possible material expenditure. It can also be used to transport large loads over a longer period of time without complications.
- the closure tab 36 can be folded over the perforation line 44, whereby it is attached to the front wall 6 using an adhesive strip 48.
- Figure 6 shows the corresponding cross-sectional view of the in Figure 4 plastic shipping bag shown 1.
- the alternative embodiment of the plastic shipping bag 1 according to the invention with a perforation line according to Figure 7 This differs from the plastic shipping bag Figure 4 that the first weakening zone is in the form of a perforation line 44 in a first section from the first side edge 18 to the middle of the nearest short side of the rectangular passage opening 38 and in a second section from the center of the opposite short side of the rectangular passage opening 38 to extends to the second side edge 18 '.
- the Figures 8 and 9 show the respective associated plastic shipping bag 1 according to Figure 7 When closed, in side view or in cross-sectional view.
- Figure 10 shows a third embodiment of the plastic shipping bag 1 according to the invention in a perspective top view.
- the plastic shipping bag 1 has a further perforation line 46 on the rear wall 12, which is located between the passage opening 38 and the adhesive strip 48.
- the plastic shipping bag 1 according to the invention which is closed by means of the adhesive strip 48, can be opened by cutting the first perforation line 44 or by cutting the second perforation line 46 in order to remove the transported goods.
- the remaining section 50 can then be separated by cutting off the second perforation line 46 or the first perforation line 44.
- a section 50 connected to the bag would remain, either as an upwardly projecting section of the adhesive strip or as an upwardly projecting section of the rear wall , which could hinder the filling process if the opened plastic shipping bag is reused as a carrier or cooler bag.
- This protruding section which is still connected to the bag body, could also increase the risk of damage to the bag. For example, the protruding section could get caught on other objects or become trapped during handling and/or transport.
- a section that protrudes upwards would result in an appearance that would be detrimental to reusing the bag as a tote or cooler bag.
- Figure 11 shows the plastic shipping bag according to the invention 1 according to Figure 10 in closed condition in side view. After opening the plastic carrier bag 1 by cutting through the first perforation line 44, the section 50 that has become unnecessary can be separated via the second perforation line 46.
- Figure 12 shows the corresponding cross-sectional view of the in Figure 10 already described plastic carrier bag 1.
- the design variant of the plastic shipping bag according to Figure 13 This differs from the plastic shipping bag Figure 10 in that the first weakening zone in the form of a perforation line 44 extends in a first section from the first side edge to a first corner point of the rectangular passage opening, which is at a greater distance from the fastening means than the second corner point, which is the first short one with the first corner point Side of the rectangular passage opening 38, which is adjacent to the first side edge 18, and extends in a second section from the third corner point of the rectangular passage opening 38, which spans the first longer side of the rectangle with the first corner point, to the second side edge 18 ' , and that, moreover, the second weakening zone in the form of a perforation line 46 extends in a first section from the first side edge 18 to the second corner point of the rectangular passage opening 38 and in a second section from the fourth corner point of the rectangular passage opening 38, which is connected to the third corner point spans the second shorter side of the rectangular passage opening 38, extends to the second side edge 18 '

Unlike common carrier bags and packaging bags, shipping bags and Shipping bags often have to meet special requirements during packaging, transport and delivery in order to ensure smooth and complication-free handling at all times. The transport on treadmills or conveyor belts also has to function regularly and without errors. Special requirements and special care must be taken with such shipping bags, which have a more complex structure due to the more sensitive goods that have to be stored and transported with them. So far there has been no lack of attempts to find suitable solutions for specific tasks. Nevertheless, mailing bags, especially those that are equipped with carrying handles, still leave something to be desired.
The present invention was therefore based on the object of making shipping bags available which no longer suffer from the disadvantages of the prior art and which are particularly easy to manufacture and easy to handle, although, even if equipped with holding loops or handles, provide a safe and secure way to ensure reliable transport of sensitive or high-quality goods, especially food.

In addition, the plastic shipping bags according to the invention can be used to ensure that transported food is protected from contamination and that the recipient recognizes whether unauthorized access to the transported goods could have occurred.
In an expedient embodiment, it can be provided that the front wall and the rear wall are at least three-fold only in the area close to the floor, for example in their respective lower third, in particular including the floor area, for example the bottom fold. are designed with four or five layers. The sections of the front and rear walls adjoining these sections can then, for example, be designed in two layers.
In one embodiment, the closure tab can represent a separate single- or multi-layer, in particular double-layer, film layer which is connected to the outer layer and/or the inner layer, in particular the outer layer, of the rear wall, for example glued or welded. The closure tab is preferably an integral part of the outer layer of the rear wall and is therefore in one piece with it. In a particularly preferred embodiment, the closure tab is designed in two layers and is expediently formed by folding the section of the outer layer of the rear wall that projects beyond the opening edge of the front onto itself, preferably forming a fold at the turning point. This embodiment saves material and at the same time provides a very stable, securely lockable bag.
In an advantageous embodiment of the plastic shipping bag according to the invention, it is provided that the closure flap in that section which is opposite the opening edge of the closure flap with respect to the fastening means has at least one first weakening zone, which is spaced from or from the first side edge in the direction of or up to second side edge and which preferably extends from the first side edge to the second side edge. This first weakening zone can be, for example, a perforation line. In the sense of the invention, a first weakening zone or perforation line is still present in the closure tab even if it runs in the area or at the height of the opening edge of the front wall, in particular essentially congruent with the course of the opening edge of the front wall. In an expedient embodiment of the plastic shipping bag according to the invention, it is provided that the closure tab in the section which lies opposite the fastening means with respect to the passage opening has at least one first weakening zone, which is spaced from or from the first side edge in the direction of or up to second side edge extends and in particular extends from the first side edge to the second side edge. In a particularly advantageous embodiment it is provided that the first weakening zone, in particular perforation line, is in a first section from or spaced from the first side edge in the direction of or up to the opening, preferably from the first side edge to the opening, and in a second Section extends from or spaced from the passage opening in the direction of or to the second side edge, preferably from the passage opening to the second side edge. In this embodiment Consequently, the passage opening is part of the first weakening zone. In other words, in this embodiment, the first weakening zone is divided into two sections, the first section of the first weakening zone being spaced from or from the first side edge in the direction of or up to the section of the passage opening adjacent thereto extends and wherein the second section of the first weakening zone extends at a distance from or from the second side edge in the direction of or up to the section of the passage opening adjacent thereto. For the purposes of the present invention, a passage opening is to be understood as meaning an opening, including a slot, through which the holding loop or handle of the front wall and/or rear wall, in particular the front and rear wall, can be passed.
In the embodiment described above, the first weakening zone is preferably designed in such a way that in the first section it occupies the shortest possible extension from the first side edge to the passage opening and / or, preferably and, that it has the shortest possible extension in the second section from the passage opening to the second side edge. In a further expedient embodiment, this first weakening zone, in particular perforation line, runs in the closure flap essentially at the same height or essentially parallel to the opening edge of the front wall or, in particular up to 2.5 or up to 1.5 cm, in the direction of The opening edge of the closure tab is spaced apart from this.
For many applications, it has proven to be particularly useful that the plastic shipping bag according to the invention is equipped in one embodiment with a closure tab which has at least a second weakening zone, in particular a perforation line, in the section that extends from the passage opening to the fastening means, which extends at a distance from or from the first side edge, preferably from the first side edge, in the direction of or to the second side edge, preferably to the second side edge. The second weakening zone is spaced closer to the fastener than the first weakening zone. Preferably, the first and second weakening zones run essentially parallel to one another.
In an expedient embodiment of the plastic shipping bag according to the invention, it is provided that the closure tab in the section that extends between the passage opening and the fastening means has at least one second weakening zone, which is spaced from or from the first side edge in the direction of or up to the second Side edge extends and in particular from the first page edge extends to the second page edge. In a particularly advantageous embodiment it is provided that the second weakening zone, in particular perforation line, is in a first section from or spaced from the first side edge in the direction of or up to the opening, preferably from the first side edge to the opening, and in a second Section extends from or spaced from the passage opening in the direction of or to the second side edge, preferably from the passage opening to the second side edge. In this embodiment, the passage opening is therefore part of the second weakening zone. In other words, in this embodiment, the second weakening zone is divided into two sections, with the first section of the second weakening zone extending at a distance from or from the first side edge in the direction of or up to the section of the passage opening adjacent thereto and the second section extending from the second Weakening zone spaced from or extends from the second side edge in the direction of or up to the adjacent section of the passage opening.
In the embodiment described above, the second weakening zone is preferably designed in such a way that in the first section it occupies the shortest possible extension from the first side edge to the passage opening and / or, preferably and, that it has the shortest possible extension in the second section from the passage opening to the second side edge.
The passage opening in the closure tab is preferably designed as a handle hole or punched hole or as an opening slot. The passage opening is preferably arranged and aligned in the closure tab in such a way that the first handle or the first holding loop and / or the second handle or the second holding loop are closed when the closure flap is folded over onto the outside of the front wall through this passage opening the opening end of the plastic shipping bag can be passed through. If the closure tab is multi-layered, in particular double-layered, the circumferential edge of the handle or punch hole or the opening slot can be welded or glued in sections or completely.

The at least one fastening means present between the opening edge and the passage opening preferably represents an adhesive area or in particular an adhesive strip. This adhesive area or this adhesive strip can be in an expedient embodiment be covered with a removable protective layer, for example in the form of siliconized paper. If you want to close the plastic shipping bag, this protective layer must be removed before the closure flap containing the adhesive area or the adhesive strip is folded over onto the outside of the front wall and the closure flap forms an adhesive connection with this outside of the front wall while closing the openings.
The inner layer of the front and/or rear wall, in particular the front and rear wall, of the plastic shipping bag according to the invention expediently comprises or represents a foamed plastic film or bubble plastic film, preferably a foamed polyolefin film, particularly preferably a foamed polyethylene film and in particular a foamed LD polyethylene film For many applications it has proven to be advantageous to use a closed-cell foamed plastic film when using a foamed plastic film.
Especially when using at least one intermediate layer in the front and/or rear wall, this can be designed as a, in particular closed-cell, foamed plastic film or as a bubble plastic film. Preferably, a foamed polyolefin film is used, particularly preferably a foamed polyethylene film and in particular a foamed LD polyethylene film.
In a particularly preferred embodiment variant, the outer layer of the front and/or rear wall, in particular of the front and rear wall, does not comprise any bubble plastic film, nor any foamed plastic film, preferably no foamed polyolefin film, particularly preferably no foamed polyethylene film and in particular no foamed LD polyethylene film, and does not represent such either. In a further particularly preferred embodiment variant, the outer layer of the front and/or rear wall, in particular of the front and rear wall, comprises or represents a plastic film, preferably a polyolefin film, particularly preferably a polyethylene film and in particular an LD polyethylene film one such.
For many uses, the plastic shipping bag according to the invention does not have side walls or side gussets.
The handles of the plastic shipping bags according to the invention preferably contain HD polyethylene or are formed. A particularly preferred material for the inner and outer layers of the front and back walls is LD polyethylene resorted to. This regularly ensures that the handles are reliably welded to the front and rear walls.
Such plastic shipping bags according to the invention have proven to be particularly useful, in which the handle of the front wall and the handle of the rear wall form a pair of handles that can be reversibly connected to one another. It has often proven to be particularly useful for the bag according to the invention to connect the handle of the front wall with a welding strip. The handle or the holding loop of the front wall, in particular the welding strip of the handle of the front wall, is expediently welded to the inside of the front wall, in particular to the folded continuation edge section, particularly preferably in the overlapping section of the inner layer and the continuation edge section and, if necessary, the at least one intermediate layer. Alternatively and preferably additionally, the handle of the rear wall is also connected to a welding strip. In particular, the handles of the front wall and rear wall are each in one piece with the corresponding welding strip. Preferably, the handle or the handle loop of the rear wall, in particular the welding strip of the handle of the rear wall, is connected to the inside of the rear wall, in particular with the folded-over continuation edge section, particularly preferably with the overlapping section of the inner layer with the folded-over continuation edge section and, if appropriate, the at least one intermediate layer, welded.
The welding of the handle or the holding loop of the front wall preferably extends in the overlapping section to the outer layer of the front wall. Alternatively and in particular additionally, it can be provided that the welding of the handle or the holding loop of the rear wall in the overlapping section extends to the outer layer of the rear wall.
The welding strips of the plastic shipping bags according to the invention preferably contain or are formed from HD polyethylene.
The object on which the invention is based is achieved particularly reliably with plastic shipping bags according to the invention, in which the outer layer of the layer forming the front wall has a continuation edge section in the area of the opening edge, which is folded over onto the outside of the inner layer of the front wall and forms an overlapping section with this inner layer, wherein the continuation edge section and the inner layer are connected to one another, in particular welded, in the overlapping section. The area in which the previously mentioned layers are connected or welded within this overlapping section is also called the “first connection area”. The object on which the invention is based is also achieved with an embodiment in which the continuation edge section, the inner layer and the outer layer or the continuation edge section, the inner layer, the at least one intermediate layer and the outer layer, are expediently connected to one another in this first connection area, in particular welded , available. The folded continuation edge section of the front wall essentially completely overlaps with the inner layer of the front wall. The welding of adjacent layers is preferably designed to overlap, i.e. the welding extends in a uniform area through all layers present in this area. In addition, it is also possible for the inner layer and the at least one intermediate layer or the at least one intermediate layer and the outer layer to be connected to one another, in particular welded, in the overlapping section.
In a further advantageous embodiment, in addition to the variant described above, it can be provided that the layer forming the outer layer of the rear wall has a continuation edge section in the area of the opening edge, which is folded over onto the outside of the inner layer of the rear wall and forms an overlapping section with this inner layer, wherein this continuation edge section and the inner layer and in particular also the inner layer and the outer layer and optionally the inner layer and the at least one intermediate layer and the at least one intermediate layer and the outer layer are connected to one another, in particular welded, in the overlapping section. The area in which the previously mentioned layers are connected or welded within this overlapping section is also called the “second connection area”. Alternatively and in particular additionally, the layer forming the outer layer of the rear wall has a continuation edge section in the area of the opening edge, which is folded over onto the outside of the inner layer of the rear wall and with this inner layer forms an overlapping section, wherein the continuation edge section and the inner layer are connected to one another, in particular welded, in the overlapping section. The folded continuation edge section of the rear wall preferably has no overlap with the inner layer of the rear wall in the area of the passage opening of the closure tabs.
In the plastic shipping bags according to the invention described above, in which the outer layer of the layer forming the front wall has a continuation edge section in the area of the opening edge and / or in which the layer forming the outer layer of the rear wall has a continuation edge section in the area of the opening edge, the extension of the Inner layer of the front wall in the direction of the opening end and the extension of the inner layer of the rear wall in the direction of the opening end preferably substantially coincide.
In particularly suitable embodiments, the handle or the handle loop of the front wall, in particular the welding strip of the handle of the front wall, is connected, in particular welded, to the area of the inside of the front wall in a connection area which is formed by that section of the folded continuation edge section which does not overlap the inner layer, in particular an overlap exclusively with the outer layer of the front wall (also called “third connecting area”). Alternatively or additionally, it can be provided that the handle or the handle loop of the rear wall, in particular the welding strip of the handle of the rear wall, is connected, in particular welded, to the area of the inside of the rear wall in a connection area which is formed by that section of the folded continuation edge section which has no overlap with the inner layer, in particular an overlap exclusively with the outer layer of the rear wall (also called "fourth connection area").
In order to achieve very good mechanical stability, the first and third connection areas are particularly preferably separated from one another. Preferably, the second and fourth connection areas are also separated from one another.
