Definitions

  • the invention relates to a block for arrangement in a door or window sash with two block bodies that can be moved relative to one another and an actuating device for moving at least one block body, the two block bodies being plate-shaped and linear perpendicular to their respective main planes relative to one another towards or away from one another are movable and on an appropriately equipped window or door.
  • the US 2010/263 318 A1 discloses a block for arrangement in a door or window sash with two block bodies that can be moved relative to one another and an actuating device for moving at least one block body.
  • the two block bodies are plate-shaped and can be moved linearly towards or away from each other perpendicular to their respective main planes.
  • window in this description, the invention is described below in connection with a window or a window frame or a sash frame of a window or a door, for example a patio door, with a window sash.
  • the word “window” can always be replaced by the word “door” and The blocking is always to be understood in connection with both a window and a door.
  • a window is usually installed in a structural opening in a building.
  • a window frame which is also referred to as a window frame, is provided, which consists, for example, of metal, in particular aluminum, and/or plastic and/or wood in the form of profiles. For example, plastic profiles are extruded through appropriate nozzles and metal profiles are extruded accordingly. These frame profiles are then fastened in the building opening, for example with screws, anchors or the like, and sealed in a heat-insulating and airtight manner.
  • a window sash i.e. a sash frame with a filling, in particular a glazing, is suspended in the window frame, preferably so that it can rotate and/or pivot.
  • the window sash for its part, consists of essentially similar frame profiles.
  • a window pane i.e. glazing, preferably with several panes, is arranged and sealed within the window sash. In the case of a door, this is also known as a door leaf.
  • the glazing can be designed as a package with double or triple glazing, which is preferably evacuated for thermal insulation and sealed at the edge. In principle, blinds or the like can also be integrated or the window pane is coated for thermal insulation, for example.
  • the window can be opened, pivoted or tilted and closed again, with a seal also being provided between the window frame, which can be referred to as a window frame, and the window sash.
  • the window pane for its part, is also sealed to the window sash.
  • a block is used to position the window pane within the window sash.
  • These are preferably small plate-like plastic bodies, which are arranged, for example, on the bottom and top as well as on the left and right of the window pane, between it and the window sash, in order to achieve a horizontal alignment of both the window pane and the window sash when the window is installed.
  • corresponding recesses for blocking are formed in the frame profiles of the window sash.
  • this blocking is designed to be so tough that, in particular, the blocks arranged on the underside can absorb the weight of the window pane without permanent deformation or without "creeping".
  • These blocks also known as blocks or block bridges, are sold in standardized, graduated sizes.
  • adjustable blocks are known which can be adjusted accordingly in order to ensure correct alignment and tight closing of the window.
  • the invention is based on the object of specifying a blocking system that enables a simple and precise adjustment of a window sash with low loads. Furthermore, an appropriately equipped window should be specified.
  • the core idea of the invention is that the blocking is formed by two blocking bodies that can be moved relative to one another.
  • the two plate-shaped block bodies can be moved perpendicular to their main planes by means of an actuating device.
  • the two main planes of the block bodies are aligned essentially parallel to one another and the blocking is supported on the one hand with a first block body on the glazing or other filling and on the other hand with a second block body on a frame profile of the sash frame.
  • the actuating device for the block bodies is not integrated into the sash frame of the window sash or is supported on it.
  • the material chosen for the blocking is preferably plastic, which is designed to be suitably tough and creep-resistant. Such plastic parts can, for example, be injection molded in the desired shape.
  • the actuating device can be designed in any way, but preferably as described below. It can be seen that the blocking is arranged in a correspondingly designed recess in the frame profile of the sash, which is also referred to as a rebate or rebate space.
  • the advantage of the invention is that no frictional forces occur between the two plate-shaped block bodies, which can be moved linearly towards or away from each other perpendicular to their respective main planes.
  • the block bodies are dimensioned in such a way that they have a sufficient contact surface on the one hand on the frame profile of the sash frame and on the other hand on the glazing or filling in order to minimize the compressive forces that occur and to be able to absorb them without deforming the individual components of the window.
  • blocks according to the prior art can also be arranged at the points where no adjustment has to be made.
  • the blocks according to the state of the art serve purely as supports.
  • a nut in particular made of metal, is arranged on the block body with a screw. This is, for example, inserted into a correspondingly designed nut recess in this block body, so that the contact surface between the nut and block body is used to accommodate the forces occurring are maximized.
  • the nut is preferably designed as a self-locking or self-locking locking nut.
  • the screw is usually made of metal. This is preferably a screw with an internal hexagon on the screw head in order to obtain the largest possible contact surface for force transmission between a tool for turning the screw and the screw itself.
  • this is a so-called Allen or Torx screw, i.e. a screw with a screw head with a hexagon socket or a polygon.
  • the actuating device in particular the screw, is preferably accessible from the outside.
  • the blocking screw installed in a sash frame passes through a frame profile of the sash frame and, for example, a hexagonal key can be placed on the screw head when the window sash or sash frame is open in order to adjust the two block bodies relative to one another.
  • adjusting or readjusting the blocking does not require the complete dismantling of the sash frame and can also be done without the involvement of a specialized craftsman.
  • a corresponding opening is formed in the frame profile of the window sash in order to be able to access the actuating device or the screw from the outside.
  • a reinforcement is arranged on at least one of the block bodies.
  • This reinforcement is supported For example, remove the rotatable screw with its end opposite the screw head in order to avoid deformation of this block body at the end of the screw.
  • a sleeve with an internal thread is arranged in particular in one piece as a receptacle for the screw in order to enlarge the contact surface between the screw and the block body.
  • This reinforcement is designed in particular in the form of a metal plate in order to use the metal plate to increase the contact surface of the screw on the block body reinforced with the metal plate.
  • the metal plate can preferably be inserted flush in a correspondingly designed recess in this block body.
  • stiffening ribs can be formed on one or both block bodies in order to minimize deformation in the main plane of the respective block body. These stiffening ribs can, for example, extend over a longitudinal or transverse extent of a substantially rectangular block body.
  • predetermined breaking points are formed on the block bodies, in particular over a longitudinal or transverse extension, in order to attach the block body to these predetermined breaking points by separating the edge sections to be able to set the desired width.
  • the reinforcement profiles and/or predetermined breaking points also create ventilation channels within the window sash to ensure air circulation within the window sash.
  • one or more centering projections are formed on one block body and corresponding centering receptacles on the other block body. These interlock with each other to prevent, for example, when turning a screw, that a block body rotates with the screw, so to speak.
  • lateral guide webs can be formed, in particular in one piece, on one or both block bodies, which engage around the other block body, in particular on the edge.
  • a window or door is proposed that is equipped with appropriate blocking.
  • corresponding recesses for the blocking are formed in the respective frame profiles of the sash frame of the window sash or the door sash at the desired location or locations in order to be able to accommodate them.
  • the window sash or door sash can be adjusted as desired or adjusted if necessary in order to achieve optimal alignment of the filling, i.e. the glazing and/or the door leaf, to the frame profiles.
  • the blocking of a window sash or door sash is arranged on the top side, for example in the case of a sash frame that can be pivoted about a vertical axis of rotation, offset within the top side frame profile towards a handle.
  • no block body is arranged in the frame profile below this adjustable blocking in order to have as much play as possible for adjusting glazing or other filling. For example, by turning the screw, a correct adjustment is made.
  • a blocking 1 is shown with two plate-like block bodies 2a, 2b, which are preferably injection molded from plastic.
  • a sleeve 3 with an internal thread (not shown here to simplify the illustration) is preferably integrally formed on the first block body 2a.
  • a screw 4 preferably made of metal, interacts with this internal thread with its external thread, also not shown here.
  • the screw 4 which, for example, has a hexagon socket for its rotation, can be rotated relative to the block body 2a using an appropriate tool, as can be seen from the double arrow D.
  • a recess 5 for flush receiving of a metal plate 6 is formed on the block body 2b.
  • centering pins 7 and/or centering receptacles 8 are formed on the block bodies 2a, 2b, with the centering receptacles 8 reaching through the block body 2a here.
  • the two block bodies 2a, 2b are each equipped with stiffening ribs 11 and/or predetermined breaking points 12.
  • stiffening ribs 11 With the stiffening ribs 11, the stability, here of the second block body 2b, is increased against bending and by means of, for example, channel-like predetermined breaking points 12, here the first block body 2a, by cutting off edge sections on the The width of the material can be adapted to the installation conditions.
  • the stiffening ribs 11 and/or predetermined breaking points 12 also form channels for forming air circulation inside a window sash 18.
  • the screw 4 If the screw 4 is screwed into the first block body 2a according to the double arrow D, its free end comes into contact with the metal plate 6. If the screw 4 is screwed in further, the metal plate 6 and thus the second block body 2b are pushed away from the first block body 2a in a linear direction according to the double arrow L. If the screw 4 is unscrewed again in the opposite direction, the second block body 2b moves under load again in the linear direction L towards the first block body 2a.
  • the metal plate 6 absorbs the pressure forces exerted by the screw 4 and distributes them over a large area on the block body 2b.
  • the sleeve 3 on the first block body 2a also serves to distribute the load of the compressive forces exerted by the screw 4 on the block body 2a.
  • FIG. 2 blocking 1 is off Fig. 1 shown in section.
  • a sleeve 3 is formed on the first block body 2a and it has groove-like predetermined breaking points 12 and holes 10 for the in Fig. 1 Fastening screws 9 shown.
  • Stiffening ribs 11 are formed on the second block body 2b and it has a recess 5 for a metal plate 6.
  • the two block bodies 2a, 2b lie against one another essentially over the entire surface, since the screw 4 has not yet been completely screwed into the sleeve 3 and therefore no pressure on them Metal plate 6 exerts. If the screw 4 is screwed in further, the second block body 2b is pushed away from the first block body 2a in a linear direction according to the double arrow L.
  • the second block body 2b When assembled in connection with triple glazing, the second block body 2b can have an opening 22 extending approximately in the middle of the block body 2b perpendicular to the stiffening ribs 11 on the side having the stiffening ribs 11, which is indicated here as a dash-dotted line to relieve the middle window pane 19, which is weaker in relation to the two outer window panes 19.
  • FIG. 3 and 4 an alternative blocking 1 is shown in perspective from above and below. It differs from the previously described blocking 1 according to Fig. 1 and 2 essentially in that a nut 13, preferably made of metal, can be inserted into a correspondingly shaped nut receptacle 14 on the underside of the first block body 2a or in the area of the sleeve 3.
  • the nut 13 is designed as a self-locking or self-locking locking nut.
  • the sleeve 3 does not require an internal thread. With the nut 13, the forces of the screw 4, which has not yet been screwed in here, can be absorbed and transferred to the first block body 2a in order to move the two block bodies 2a, 2b linearly L relative to one another.
  • this blocking has lateral guide webs 15 on the first block body 2a, which can grip laterally around the second block body 2b, so that the two block bodies 2a, 2b cannot rotate relative to one another.
  • these guide bars can 15 may be formed on all blocks 1 on the first and/or second block body 2a, 2b.
  • Fig. 5 are purely schematically two cross sections through a window 16 with a window frame 17, also known as a frame, and a window sash 18, which is a sash frame composed of frame profiles made of metal, wood or plastic with a filling, in particular a glazing comprising a window pane 19.
  • the window frames 17 are, for example, installed and sealed in a structural opening of a building and relative to this, as indicated by the double arrow R, a window sash 18 can be opened and preferably closed in a sealing manner.
  • a window pane 19, here for example triple glazing, is inserted in a sealed manner in the window sash 18.
  • a block 1 with two plate-like block bodies 2a, 2b and a screw 4 is arranged within the window sash 18.
  • the screw 4 can be accessed from the outside through an opening 20 in the window sash 18, which is only in Fig. 5a is marked, for example a so-called Allen screw can be accessed with an Allen key. If the screw 4 is screwed in, then it moves linearly in a direction according to the arrow L downwards and presses on the second block body 2b, so that a gap a opens between the block bodies 2a, 2b as shown in the Fig. 5b visible. If the screw 4 is unscrewed again, the two block bodies 2a, 2b rest against each other essentially over the entire surface, as in the Fig. 5a shown.
  • the first block body 2a is supported on the frame profile of the window sash 18 and the second block body 2b on the Window pane 19 or the glazing or other filling.
  • An actuating device of the blocking 1, in particular a screw 4, on the other hand, is freely movable to the window sash 18 and is not supported on it.
  • the window pane 19 can thus be correctly aligned relative to the window sash 18 in order to obtain an optimally adjusted and sealed window 16.
  • a window 16 is shown with a window frame 17 and two openable and closable window sashes 18, which are preferably composed of frame profiles. At least one window pane 19 is accommodated in each of the window sashes 18. A block 1 is inserted into the window sashes 18, each of which is shown in an enlarged detail. By means of the blocking 1, the window pane 19 or the glazing comprising the window pane 19 can be aligned relative to the window sash 18 in order to obtain an optimally adjusted and sealed window 16.
  • the blocking 1 is in particular arranged on the top side of the window sash 18 offset towards a handle 21 of the window 16. This ensures the greatest possible leverage is achieved.
  • no blocking bodies or the like are arranged in the lower frame profile of the window sash 18 in order to obtain scope for adjustment.
  • a door leaf has essentially the same structure and is located within a door leaf or in a frame profile of the leaf frame
  • a blocking 1 can be installed in order to be able to adjust a door leaf or a filling of the like relative to the sash frame.
