    the clamping jaws (2) have a number of internal threads corresponding to the oppositely directed threaded portions, at which they are penetrated by the threaded portions of the number of threaded spindles (1), so that the clamping jaws (2) are synchronously movable towards and away from each other upon rotation of the number of threaded spindles (1),
    characterized in that
    the front holding plate (5) is penetrated at an internal thread by a threaded rod (7) with a corresponding external threaded portion, which rod is rotatably attached at its one end to a front one of the two clamping jaws (2) and at its other end is provided with a manual actuating arrangement, preferably a rotary handle (9), so that
