Definitions
- the present invention relates to a film packaging type sanitary tissue package in which a bundle of sanitary tissues such as tissue paper is wrapped with a film.
- sanitary tissues such as tissue paper
- a paper box type storing body also referred to as a box tissue
- a pop-up type bundle of about 120 to 250 sets, each of which has two to four sanitary tissues, are stored.
- a film packaging type sanitary tissue package in which a pop-up type bundle having the same number of sets as that of the paper box type storing body is packaged with a flexible resin film.
- the pillow wrapping mode is a wrapping mode in which a bundle corresponding to a packaged object is wrapped in a width direction with a long film, edge portions overlapped in a wrapping direction are stuck to each other, and a part extending in a lengthwise direction of a film beyond the packaged object is stuck in a gusset form and sealed.
- Overwrap wrapping is a wrapping mode also referred to as caramel wrapping or combined wrapping, and is a wrapping form in which a bundle corresponding to a packaged object is rolled up to be wrapped in a tubular shape using a film, overlapping parts are stuck to each other in a wrapping direction, a part where the film extends beyond the bundle corresponding to the packaged object is folded from two opposite edges to the packaged object side, and at least respective tip edge portions of triangular or quadrangular pieces formed at that time are stuck and sealed.
- an overwrap wrapped one has a shape closer to a rectangular parallelepiped shape. Further, the rigidity of a sealed part formed by sticking the triangular or quadrangular pieces is high. Moreover, even when a height of the bundle is reduced by using the sanitary tissue after opening, a shape retention property of a packaging bag is excellent in many cases.
- a take-out port of the film packaging type sanitary tissue package in addition to a slit-shaped take-out port formed by arranging one perforation on a straight line on an upper surface part and tearing the perforation, it has been common to use a chamfered rectangular, rectangular, or elliptical opening formed by forming a chamfered rectangular, rectangular, or elliptical annular perforation on an upper surface part frequently seen in a paper box type and cutting off the part.
- one perforation arranged on the straight line on the upper surface part is easy to tear beyond both ends of the perforation during opening.
- the shape of the packaging bag hardly collapses.
- the resistance at the time of taking out the sanitary tissue is large.
- the entire package is likely to be lifted.
- the sheet easily falls into the package from the opening, especially when the number of sets forming the bundle is small.
- a main object of the invention is to provide an overwrap-wrapped sanitary tissue package, which is excellent in sanitary tissue take-out property and prevention of falling.
- the means for solving the above problems are as follows.
- First means is a sanitary tissue package including a bundle of folded sanitary tissues stacked in a pop-up type, and a film overwrap-wrapping the bundle of folded sanitary tissues, in which a top surface part of the film includes a take-out port forming portion surrounded by a pair of first easy tear lines that extends along a width direction in which folded edges of the sanitary tissue extend and is spaced apart in a depth direction orthogonal to the width direction and a pair of second easy tear lines that extends along the depth direction and connects end portions of the pair of first easy tear lines, the take-out port forming portion forms a shape having an end portion narrowing portion in which the pair of first easy tear lines gradually approaches each other from connection portions with respect to the second easy tear lines to a side of a center portion of the bundle in the width direction and a width therebetween narrows, a widened portion in which the pair of first easy tear lines is gradually separated from each other from a side of the end portion narrowing portion to the side of the center portion of the bundle in
- Second means is the sanitary tissue package according to the first means, in which a length of the second easy tear lines is 1.0 to 16.0% of a length of the bundle in the depth direction.
- Third means is the sanitary tissue package according to the first or second means, in which a connecting portion in which an interval between the pair of first easy tear lines is constant is included between the end portion narrowing portion and the widened portion.
- Fourth means is the sanitary tissue package according to any one of the first to third means, in which the pair of first easy tear lines in the end portion narrowing portion and the widened portion is curved lines.
- Fifth means is the sanitary tissue package according to any one of the first to fourth means, in which the first easy tear lines and the second easy tear lines are perforations.
- Sixth means is the sanitary tissue package according to the third means, in which the pair of first easy tear lines in the end portion narrowing portion and the widened portion is slits communicating with an inside and an outside, and the pair of first easy tear lines in the connecting portion and the wide portion are perforations of tie 0.5 mm to 3.0 mm and cut 1.0 mm to 7.00 mm.
- Seventh means is the sanitary tissue package according to the first, second, third, fourth, or sixth means, in which the second easy tear lines are slits having uncut portions at a center portion in the depth direction.
- Eighth means is the sanitary tissue package according to any one of the first to seventh means, in which a width of the edge pieces is 8 to 28 mm.
- the invention provides a sanitary tissue package for overwrap wrapping, which is excellent in sanitary tissue take-out property and prevention of falling.
- a sanitary tissue package 1 of the present embodiment is obtained by wrapping a bundle 3 of sanitary tissues 2 with a film 4, and a take-out port forming portion 50 for forming a take-out port 60 for taking out the contained sanitary tissues 2 one by one is provided on a top surface part 1A of the film 4.
- the sanitary tissue package 1 is a so-called pop-up type, and when one or a set of sanitary tissues 2 is taken out from the take-out port 60 formed by tearing the take-out port forming portion 50, a part of a sanitary tissue 2 to be taken out next is exposed so that the sanitary tissue 2 can be pinched. Note that in Figs. 1 and 3 , sites that appear when the take-out port forming portion 50 is torn to form the take-out port 60 are indicated by the same reference characters.
- the sanitary tissue 2 according to the present embodiment is tissue paper, paper towel, toilet paper, etc.
- the invention is particularly effective in the case of tissue paper having a ply structure in which two to four pieces of base paper having dry crepe are stacked to form a set.
- both end portions of a stacked continuous sheet can be bonded by ply bonding, or four sides of a sanitary tissue sheet or the entire surface of the sheet can be bonded by embossing means.
- the sanitary tissue 2 according to the invention is a dried dry type, and is not a so-called wet type impregnated with a chemical solution. Therefore, the bundle 3 contains air between the layers.
- the dry type sanitary tissue 2 particularly in tissue paper
- a moisturizing tissue to which a moisturizing agent, etc. is added
- the sanitary tissue package 1 according to the invention is particularly effective in the moisturizing tissue since the bundle 3 is wrapped by the film 4, and thus the contents rarely dry when compared to the paper box type, and distortion of paper in the paper box due to moisture absorption unique to the moisturizing tissue does not occur.
- the raw material pulp is a mixture of NBKP and LBKP. Even though used paper pulp may be blended, it is preferable that it contains only NBKP and LBKP in terms of texture.
- the sanitary tissue preferably has a basis weight of 10 to 25 g/m 2 per ply (per sheet of base paper constituting one set). In particular, 10 to 18 g/m 2 is preferable.
- the basis weight here refers to that measured by the measuring method of JIS P 8124 (1998).
- a paper thickness of the sanitary tissue is not necessarily limited, and is 90 to 170 ⁇ m in a 2-ply state, and more preferably 90 to 150 ⁇ m. In a three-ply state, the paper thickness is 180 to 280 ⁇ m, and more preferably 180 to 250 ⁇ m. In a four-ply state, the paper thickness is 200 to 320 ⁇ m, and more preferably 200 to 280 ⁇ m.
- the paper thickness here refers to a value measured in a state of one set by adjusting the humidity of a test piece sufficiently under the conditions of JIS P 8111 (1998), and then using a dial thickness gauge (thickness measuring instrument) "PEACOCK G type" (manufactured by OZAKI MFG. CO., LTD.) under the same conditions.
- the bundle 3 of the sanitary tissues 2 according to the invention is configured such that a rectangular sanitary tissue 2 having a length of 180 to 210 mm ⁇ width of 130 to 160 mm is folded in two parts, and folded pieces 2B of other sanitary tissues positioned above and below the particular sanitary tissue 2 are located in a folded inner side part 2A, thereby folding and stacking a plurality of sanitary tissues.
- the bundle 3 has a rectangular parallelepiped shape having a pair of long side surfaces 3A where folded edges 2C of the respective sanitary tissues are arranged and a pair of short side surfaces 3B where the folded edges 2C are not arranged, and having a pair of flat surfaces (top surface and bottom surface) 3C connected to the long side surfaces 3A and the short side surfaces 3B.
- the top surface part 1A according to the invention is a part facing the flat surfaces 3C of the film.
- a size of the bundle 3 is not necessarily limited, and is about 153 mm in width (M size) or 137 mm in width (S size) ⁇ 96 mm in depth ⁇ 43 mm in height.
- this bundle 3 when one folded piece located at the uppermost position is pulled upward, another adjacent folded piece immediately below the piece is dragged upward and lifted, so that so-called pop-up operation is performed.
- a bundle 3 can be manufactured by a known multi-stand type or rotary type inter-folder.
- a tissue paper storing body that stores tissue paper is generally 80 to 240 sets with 2 plies (two sheets stacked), 3 plies (three sheets stacked), or 4 plies (four sheets stacked) as one set, and may be similarly set to 80 to 240 sets in the sanitary tissue package of the present embodiment.
- a wrapping mode of the bundle 3 by the film 4 of the sanitary tissue package 1 according to the invention is overwrap wrapping.
- Overwrap wrapping is a wrapping mode also referred to as caramel wrapping.
- overwrap wrapping is a wrapping form in which the bundle 3 corresponding to a packaged object is rolled up to be wrapped in a tubular shape using the film 4, upper and lower layers of the film are stuck by a fusion treatment or an adhesive (a bonding portion is indicated by a reference character 4S in Fig. 4 ) in an overlapping part 4A ( Fig. 4 ) in a wrapping direction, a part 4B ( Fig.
- the sanitary tissue package 1 according to the invention is, in particular, in overwrap wrapping, and is a wrapping mode in which a tubular opening sealing portion 4C ( Figs. 1 and 5 ) formed by sealing the tubular opening 4X is at a position facing the short side surfaces 3B of the bundle 3 as illustrated in Fig. 3 .
- the opening sealing portion 4C of overwrap wrapping has a planar shape formed by stacking and sticking a plurality of layers of films, and thus an overall outer shell shape is a rectangular parallelepiped shape close to a paper box.
- the plurality of layers of films 4 is stacked and stuck, and thus the rigidity of the part tends to increase.
- the sanitary tissue package 1 according to the invention which is represented by a film-packaged tissue, may be sold in a pile at a store, and it is desirable that a shape of a product is close to a rectangular parallelepiped, and a shape retention property is excellent without crushing.
- overwrap wrapping according to the present is desirable from a viewpoint of the rigidity and shape.
- a difference between the respective sites in the outer shell dimensions of the film 4 (width ⁇ depth ⁇ height) and the dimensions of the bundle (width ⁇ depth ⁇ height) is not necessarily limited.
- the dimensions are generally -2 mm to +5 mm with respect to the dimensions of the bundle, which is similarly applied to the sanitary tissue package 1 according to the invention.
- the take-out port forming portion 50 for forming the take-out port 60 extends along a width direction 3W in which the folded edges 2C of the sanitary tissue 2 extend and is in a range surrounded by a pair of first easy tear lines 5A and 5A spaced apart in a depth direction 3D orthogonal to the width direction, and a pair of second easy tear lines 5B and 5B extending along the depth direction 3D and connecting end portions of the pair of first easy tear lines 5A and 5A.
- the easy tear lines 5A and 5B are lines easily torn by the lines, and are, for example, perforations or slit lines provided with uncut portions at appropriate intervals. Alternatively, a line formed by reducing the thickness of the film may be used.

Abstract
Description
- The present invention relates to a film packaging type sanitary tissue package in which a bundle of sanitary tissues such as tissue paper is wrapped with a film.
- As a package of sanitary tissues such as tissue paper, a paper box type storing body, also referred to as a box tissue, that stores a bundle of sanitary tissues in a paper storage box such as a white ball referred to as a carton has been well known. In most of paper box type sanitary tissue packages, a pop-up type bundle of about 120 to 250 sets, each of which has two to four sanitary tissues, are stored.
- Meanwhile, to reduce packaging materials and improve transport costs and portability due to compactness, there is a film packaging type sanitary tissue package in which a pop-up type bundle having the same number of sets as that of the paper box type storing body is packaged with a flexible resin film.
- As the film packaging type sanitary tissue package, a pillow wrapping mode and an overwrap wrapping mode have been well known. The pillow wrapping mode is a wrapping mode in which a bundle corresponding to a packaged object is wrapped in a width direction with a long film, edge portions overlapped in a wrapping direction are stuck to each other, and a part extending in a lengthwise direction of a film beyond the packaged object is stuck in a gusset form and sealed.
When compared to a pillow wrapped one, an overwrap wrapped one has a shape closer to a rectangular parallelepiped shape. Further, the rigidity of a sealed part formed by sticking the triangular or quadrangular pieces is high. Moreover, even when a height of the bundle is reduced by using the sanitary tissue after opening, a shape retention property of a packaging bag is excellent in many cases.
- Meanwhile, as a take-out port of the film packaging type sanitary tissue package, in addition to a slit-shaped take-out port formed by arranging one perforation on a straight line on an upper surface part and tearing the perforation, it has been common to use a chamfered rectangular, rectangular, or elliptical opening formed by forming a chamfered rectangular, rectangular, or elliptical annular perforation on an upper surface part frequently seen in a paper box type and cutting off the part.

JP 2016-188092 A - However, one perforation arranged on the straight line on the upper surface part is easy to tear beyond both ends of the perforation during opening.
- In addition, in the overwrap wrapped one, the shape of the packaging bag hardly collapses. Thus, in the case of a mere slit-shaped take-out port, the resistance at the time of taking out the sanitary tissue is large. In particular, when the number of sets forming the bundle is small and the weight of the bundle is light, the entire package is likely to be lifted. In the case of a mere chamfered rectangular, rectangular, or elliptical opening, the sheet easily falls into the package from the opening, especially when the number of sets forming the bundle is small.
- Therefore, a main object of the invention is to provide an overwrap-wrapped sanitary tissue package, which is excellent in sanitary tissue take-out property and prevention of falling.
- The means for solving the above problems are as follows.
- First means is a sanitary tissue package including a bundle of folded sanitary tissues stacked in a pop-up type, and a film overwrap-wrapping the bundle of folded sanitary tissues,
in which a top surface part of the film includes a take-out port forming portion surrounded by a pair of first easy tear lines that extends along a width direction in which folded edges of the sanitary tissue extend and is spaced apart in a depth direction orthogonal to the width direction and a pair of second easy tear lines that extends along the depth direction and connects end portions of the pair of first easy tear lines,
the take-out port forming portion forms a shape having
an end portion narrowing portion in which the pair of first easy tear lines gradually approaches each other from connection portions with respect to the second easy tear lines to a side of a center portion of the bundle in the width direction and a width therebetween narrows,
a widened portion in which the pair of first easy tear lines is gradually separated from each other from a side of the end portion narrowing portion to the side of the center portion of the bundle in the width direction and the width therebetween widens, and
a wide portion in which the pair of first easy tear lines is gradually separated from each other to bulge outward in the depth direction at least until a length therebetween becomes longer than a length of the second easy tear lines further toward the center portion of the bundle in the width direction from the widened portion,
by peeling off an inside of a range of the take-out port forming portion, acute corner portions are formed at positions between the first easy tear lines and the second easy tear lines, and free edge pieces including edges in a range from the end portion narrowing portion to the wide portion are formed, and
a length between the first easy tear lines between the end portion narrowing portion and the widened portion is 10% or less of a length of the bundle in the depth direction, and a length between the first easy tear lines in the wide portion is 60% or less of the length of the bundle in the depth direction.

Fig. 5 is a perspective view at the time of use of the sanitary tissue package according to the invention. -
Fig. 6 is a plan view illustrating a take-out port forming portion of the sanitary tissue package according to the invention. - Hereinafter, a description will be given of embodiments of the invention with reference to
Figs. 1 to 6 . - A
sanitary tissue package 1 of the present embodiment is obtained by wrapping abundle 3 ofsanitary tissues 2 with afilm 4, and a take-outport forming portion 50 for forming a take-out port 60 for taking out the containedsanitary tissues 2 one by one is provided on atop surface part 1A of thefilm 4. - The
sanitary tissue package 1 is a so-called pop-up type, and when one or a set ofsanitary tissues 2 is taken out from the take-outport 60 formed by tearing the take-outport forming portion 50, a part of asanitary tissue 2 to be taken out next is exposed so that thesanitary tissue 2 can be pinched. Note that inFigs. 1 and3 , sites that appear when the take-outport forming portion 50 is torn to form the take-outport 60 are indicated by the same reference characters. - The
sanitary tissue 2 according to the present embodiment is tissue paper, paper towel, toilet paper, etc. In particular, the invention is particularly effective in the case of tissue paper having a ply structure in which two to four pieces of base paper having dry crepe are stacked to form a set. In forming the ply structure, both end portions of a stacked continuous sheet can be bonded by ply bonding, or four sides of a sanitary tissue sheet or the entire surface of the sheet can be bonded by embossing means. Further, thesanitary tissue 2 according to the invention is a dried dry type, and is not a so-called wet type impregnated with a chemical solution. Therefore, thebundle 3 contains air between the layers. Note that in the dry typesanitary tissue 2, particularly in tissue paper, there is a moisturizing tissue to which a moisturizing agent, etc. is added, and thesanitary tissue package 1 according to the invention is particularly effective in the moisturizing tissue since thebundle 3 is wrapped by thefilm 4, and thus the contents rarely dry when compared to the paper box type, and distortion of paper in the paper box due to moisture absorption unique to the moisturizing tissue does not occur. - In a suitable
sanitary tissue 2 according to the invention, the raw material pulp is a mixture of NBKP and LBKP. Even though used paper pulp may be blended, it is preferable that it contains only NBKP and LBKP in terms of texture. A blending ratio is preferably NBKP : LBKP = 20 : 80 to 80 : 20, and particularly preferably NBKP : LBKP = 30 : 70 to 60 : 40. - It is desirable that the sanitary tissue preferably has a basis weight of 10 to 25 g/m2 per ply (per sheet of base paper constituting one set). In particular, 10 to 18 g/m2 is preferable. The basis weight here refers to that measured by the measuring method of JIS P 8124 (1998). In addition, a paper thickness of the sanitary tissue is not necessarily limited, and is 90 to 170 µm in a 2-ply state, and more preferably 90 to 150 µm. In a three-ply state, the paper thickness is 180 to 280 µm, and more preferably 180 to 250 µm. In a four-ply state, the paper thickness is 200 to 320 µm, and more preferably 200 to 280 µm. The paper thickness here refers to a value measured in a state of one set by adjusting the humidity of a test piece sufficiently under the conditions of JIS P 8111 (1998), and then using a dial thickness gauge (thickness measuring instrument) "PEACOCK G type" (manufactured by OZAKI MFG. CO., LTD.) under the same conditions.
- In particular, as illustrated in
Fig. 2 , thebundle 3 of thesanitary tissues 2 according to the invention is configured such that a rectangularsanitary tissue 2 having a length of 180 to 210 mm × width of 130 to 160 mm is folded in two parts, and foldedpieces 2B of other sanitary tissues positioned above and below the particularsanitary tissue 2 are located in a foldedinner side part 2A, thereby folding and stacking a plurality of sanitary tissues. Therefore, thebundle 3 has a rectangular parallelepiped shape having a pair of long side surfaces 3A where foldededges 2C of the respective sanitary tissues are arranged and a pair ofshort side surfaces 3B where the foldededges 2C are not arranged, and having a pair of flat surfaces (top surface and bottom surface) 3C connected to thelong side surfaces 3A and theshort side surfaces 3B. Note that thetop surface part 1A according to the invention is a part facing theflat surfaces 3C of the film. A size of thebundle 3 is not necessarily limited, and is about 153 mm in width (M size) or 137 mm in width (S size) × 96 mm in depth × 43 mm in height. Further, in thisbundle 3, when one folded piece located at the uppermost position is pulled upward, another adjacent folded piece immediately below the piece is dragged upward and lifted, so that so-called pop-up operation is performed. Such abundle 3 can be manufactured by a known multi-stand type or rotary type inter-folder. - Note that the number of sets of the
sanitary tissues 2 included in thebundle 3 is not limited. However, a tissue paper storing body that stores tissue paper is generally 80 to 240 sets with 2 plies (two sheets stacked), 3 plies (three sheets stacked), or 4 plies (four sheets stacked) as one set, and may be similarly set to 80 to 240 sets in the sanitary tissue package of the present embodiment. - A wrapping mode of the
bundle 3 by thefilm 4 of thesanitary tissue package 1 according to the invention is overwrap wrapping. Overwrap wrapping is a wrapping mode also referred to as caramel wrapping. In particular, as illustrated inFigs. 3 and4 , overwrap wrapping is a wrapping form in which thebundle 3 corresponding to a packaged object is rolled up to be wrapped in a tubular shape using thefilm 4, upper and lower layers of the film are stuck by a fusion treatment or an adhesive (a bonding portion is indicated by areference character 4S inFig. 4 ) in an overlappingpart 4A (Fig. 4 ) in a wrapping direction, apart 4B (Fig. 3 ) extending beyond thebundle 3 corresponding to the packaged object is folded to the packaged object side from two edges facing each other between the side surfaces or between the top surface and the bottom surface, and at least respective tip edge portions of triangular or trapezoidal pieces formed at that time are stuck by a fusion treatment or an adhesive to seal atubular opening 4X. - The
sanitary tissue package 1 according to the invention is, in particular, in overwrap wrapping, and is a wrapping mode in which a tubularopening sealing portion 4C (Figs. 1 and5 ) formed by sealing thetubular opening 4X is at a position facing theshort side surfaces 3B of thebundle 3 as illustrated inFig. 3 . Theopening sealing portion 4C of overwrap wrapping has a planar shape formed by stacking and sticking a plurality of layers of films, and thus an overall outer shell shape is a rectangular parallelepiped shape close to a paper box. In addition, in theopening sealing portion 4C, the plurality of layers offilms 4 is stacked and stuck, and thus the rigidity of the part tends to increase. Thesanitary tissue package 1 according to the invention, which is represented by a film-packaged tissue, may be sold in a pile at a store, and it is desirable that a shape of a product is close to a rectangular parallelepiped, and a shape retention property is excellent without crushing. Thus, overwrap wrapping according to the present is desirable from a viewpoint of the rigidity and shape. - In addition, in the
sanitary tissue package 1 according to the invention, a difference between the respective sites in the outer shell dimensions of the film 4 (width × depth × height) and the dimensions of the bundle (width × depth × height) is not necessarily limited. In this type of product, the dimensions are generally -2 mm to +5 mm with respect to the dimensions of the bundle, which is similarly applied to thesanitary tissue package 1 according to the invention. - In the
sanitary tissue package 1 according to the invention, such overwrap wrapping is adopted, and the take-outport forming portion 50 for forming the take-outport 60 extends along awidth direction 3W in which the foldededges 2C of thesanitary tissue 2 extend and is in a range surrounded by a pair of firsteasy tear lines depth direction 3D orthogonal to the width direction, and a pair of secondeasy tear lines depth direction 3D and connecting end portions of the pair of firsteasy tear lines easy tear lines - Further, the take-out
port forming portion 50 according to the invention characteristically forms a shape having an endportion narrowing portion 51 in which the pair of firsteasy tear lines easy tear lines bundle 3 in the width direction and a width therebetween narrows, a widenedportion 52 in which the pair of firsteasy tear lines portion narrowing portion 51 side toward the center portion side of thebundle 3 in the width direction and the width therebetween widens, and awide portion 53 in which the pair of firsteasy tear lines easy tear line 5B further toward the center portion of thebundle 3 in the width direction from the widenedportion 52. In particular, a length JW between the first easy tear lines between the endportion narrowing portion 51 and the widenedportion 52 is 10% or less of a length L1 of thebundle 3 in thedepth direction 3D, preferably 1.6 to 8.3% thereof, and a length SW between the firsteasy tear lines wide portion 53 is 60% or less of the length L1 of thebundle 3 in thedepth direction 3D, and preferably 45 to 57% thereof. - In the
sanitary tissue package 1 according to the invention, since the take-outport forming portion 50 forms the shape having the endportion narrowing portion 51, the widenedportion 52, and thewide portion 53, when a part within a range of the take-outport forming portion 50 is cut off, first, an acute corner portion P (Figs. 5 and6 ) is formed at a position between the firsteasy tear line 5A and the secondeasy tear line 5B at a position of the endportion narrowing portion 51. That is, since the endportion narrowing portion 51 is arranged so that the pair of firsteasy tear lines easy tear lines 5B along the depth direction, when these portions are cut off, acute corner portions P and P having apexes at end positions of the secondeasy tear lines 5B extending outward in the depth direction are formed at positions of the end portion narrowing portion. - In addition, in the
sanitary tissue package 1 according to the invention, since the take-outport forming portion 50 forms the shape having the endportion narrowing portion 51, the widenedportion 52, and thewide portion 53, when the part within a range of the take-outport forming portion 50 is cut off, free edge pieces portion narrowing portion 51 to thewide portion 53 are formed. That is, since the pair of firsteasy tear lines portion narrowing portion 51, is spaced apart in the widenedportion 52, and extends outward in the depth direction with respect to ends of the secondeasy tear lines 5B in thewide portion 53 toward the center portion of thebundle 3 in the width direction, a range connecting an edge E1 in a range from the endportion narrowing portion 51 to thewide portion 53, the corner portion P, and an outer position P2 in the depth direction of thebundle 3 with respect to at least the end of the secondeasy tear line 5B in the wide portion becomes thefree edge piece 61 formed of theflexible film 4. - In the
sanitary tissue package 1 according to the invention, since the take-outport 60 related to the take-outport forming portion 50 is formed, a pull-out property and a fall prevention property are excellent. Note that the take-out property includes not only the ability to smoothly pull out the sanitary tissue, but also the fact that a part of the next one sheet or one set exposed after pulling out one sheet or one set is easy to stand and is easily pinched. - In the
sanitary tissue package 1 according to the invention, since the opening is wide at the position corresponding to thewide portion 53, there is little resistance at the time of pulling out, and it is easy to pull out smoothly. In addition, the first one sheet is easy to pinch. In particular, the length SW between the firsteasy tear lines wide portion 53 is 60% or less of the length in the depth direction of the bundle, an excessively wide opening is not formed, and the fall prevention property is ensured in combination with other configurations. Meanwhile, in particular, as illustrated inFig. 5 , anedge 20E at a root part of an exposedpart 20 of the next one sheet or one set after the one sheet or one set is taken out enters the corner portion P and is supported. In this instance, theedge piece 61 positioned on the corner portion side opposite from the corner portion P into which theedge 20E of thesanitary tissue 2 is fit comes to lean on the exposedpart 20 of thesanitary tissue 2, theedge 20E of thesanitary tissue 2 is pushed toward the corner portion P side, and the fit is maintained. As a result, thepart 20 of the next sanitary tissue has an excellent self-supporting property and fall prevention property. - Furthermore, since the
bundle 3 has a pop-up type structure as thesanitary tissue package 1 according to the invention, when pulling out one sheet or one set, theedge 20E and the surface of thepart 20 of thesanitary tissue 2 pulled out thereafter are directed toward the take-out port while moving in thedepth direction 3D, and guided by an edge of the take-outport 60 when exposed from the take-outport 60. In thesanitary tissue package 1 according to the invention, since the take-outport 60 widens from a position between the endportion narrowing portion 51 and the widenedportion 52 toward a position of the end portion narrowing portion, when thepart 20 of thesanitary tissue 2 is pulled out, theedge 20E of thesanitary tissue 2 is easily guided to the corner portion P. In addition, in particular, when a space between the endportion narrowing portion 51 and the widenedportion 52 becomes 10% or less of the length of thebundle 3 in thedepth direction 3D, the surface of thesanitary tissue 2 is reliably supported by the edge, and the fall prevention property is enhanced. Note that when the connectingportion 54 in which an interval between the pair of first easy tear lines is constant is provided as a range in which a space between the firsteasy tear lines sanitary tissue 2 is more easily supported, and the fall prevention property is further enhanced. - Here, it is desirable that the pair of first
easy tear lines portion narrowing portion 51 and the widenedportion 52 is curved lines. Since the edge E of the take-outport 60 has a smooth curve, thesanitary tissue 2 is smoothly guided by the edge, and the pull-out property is further improved. - In addition, the overall shape of the
wide portion 53 is not particularly limited. However, as in the illustrated example, it is desirable to adopt a circular shape, an elliptical shape, or a chamfered quadrangle having curved edges. It is hardly get caught on the edge when pulling out and it is easy to pull out smoothly. - It is desirable that a length PW of the first
easy tear lines width direction 3W of thebundle 3 in thesanitary tissue package 1 according to the invention is shorter than a width direction length L2 of thebundle 3, and is particularly 87 to 97% thereof. When 97% is exceeded, theedge 20E of thesanitary tissue 2 becomes difficult to enter the corner portion P. - In addition, it is desirable that a length EW of the second
easy tear line 5B in thesanitary tissue package 1 according to the invention is 3 to 16% of the length L1 of thebundle 3 in thedepth direction 3D. Within this range, theedge 20E easily enters the corner portion P. - It is desirable that a width Bh of the
edge piece 61 in thesanitary tissue package 1 according to the invention, that is, a width Bh from a line Bb connecting the corner portion P1 (one of the corner portions P) and a position P2 on an edge side of thewide portion 53 corresponding thereto (the line Bb is a tangent to the outer edge of thewide portion 53 and passes through the corner portion P1) to an opening edge E is 8 to 24 mm. Note that the position P2 on the edge side of thewide portion 53 on the line Bb connecting the corner portion P and the edge of thewide portion 53 is a position where the width Bh is the longest. Within the range of the width Bh, a sanitary tissue having a general size can be sufficiently supported and held. - Meanwhile, the first
easy tear line 5A and the secondeasy tear line 5B in thesanitary tissue package 1 according to the invention can be formed by perforations or slits having an uncut portion at an appropriate position as described above. However, more preferably, in the endportion narrowing portion 51 and the widenedportion 52, the firsteasy tear line 5A is formed as a slit communicating with the inside and outside. Further, in the connectingportion 54 and thewide portion 53, it is desirable that the firsteasy tear lines 5A are tie 0.5 mm to 3.0 mm and cut 1.0 mm to 7.00 mm perforations. In the connectingportion 54 and thewide portion 53, it is more preferable that the firsteasy tear lines 5A are a tie of 1.5 mm to 2.5 mm and a cut of 2.0 mm to 5.0 mm perforations. It is not easily torn during transportation or loading, and is easily broken by fingers. In addition, it is desirable that the secondeasy tear line 5B is perforations in which a position that becomes the corner portion P is cut or a slit in which an uncut portion is provided especially in the center portion in thedepth direction 3D. In the case of the configuration as the slit or perforations in this way, as illustrated inFig. 6 , when the endportion narrowing portion 51 is pulled away from theedge 1E while pressing the position X1 between the endportion narrowing portion 51 and theedge 1E of thepackage 1 in the width direction in the top surface part with fingers, the tab part in which the endportion narrowing portion 51 is peeled off is obtained. When the tab part is pulled toward the endportion narrowing portion 51 on the opposite side, the take-outport forming portion 50 surrounded by the firsteasy tear line 5A and the secondeasy tear line 5B is smoothly peeled off so that the take-outport 60 can be easily formed, and an opening property becomes excellent. - Here, specific examples of a flexible resin film material contained in the
film 4 according to the invention may include a single layer film of a polyethylene, a polypropylen, a polyester, a polyethylene terephthalate, a nylon, a vinylidene chloride, or an ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer, an appropriately stacked laminate film containing these films, or a gas barrier film with surface treatment such as aluminum vapor deposition on those films. However, a polypropylene film and a polyethylene film are preferable from a viewpoint of cost. In particular, a non-stretched polypropylene film (CPP) having excellent heat fusion property is desirable. - The thickness of the
film 4 may be appropriately selected in consideration of flexibility, cost, gas permeability, and heat-fusion property during packaging. Preferably, it is desirable that the thickness measured conformed to JIS P 8118 (1998) is 20 to 60 µm, and the softness measured based on the handle odometer method according to JIS L 1096 (2010) E method is 5.0 to 50.0 cN. With such thickness and softness, the film is less likely to be torn, and the pop-up property is likely to be excellent. - Next, with regard to the shape of the take-out port forming portion in the sanitary tissue package according to the invention, the opening property, the pull-out property, and a falling property were tested. Examples are related to the invention, and the comparative examples are unrelated to the invention. Comparative Example 5 has an opening forming portion formed of one perforation, particularly along the bundle width direction, and has a linear slit at a take-out port. Note that a tie cut ratio thereof is 2 mm for ties and 3 mm for cuts.
- All wrapping modes are overwrap wrapping, and a sealing portion is formed by heat fusion. The product outer shell dimensions and the bundle dimensions were made almost the same except for manufacturing errors, and the bundles were the commercially available S size and M size. Note that the M size bundle is a bundle of non-moisturizing tissue paper containing no moisturizing agent, and the S size bundle is a bundle of moisturizing type tissue paper containing 14% by mass of the moisturizing agent.
- The main physical properties and film materials of the sanitary tissues are all the same and are shown in the table. The dimensions of each portion are as shown in Tables 1 and 2, where Table 1 shows the S size test results and Table 2 shows the M size test results.
- The evaluations in the table are based on the following criteria.
-
- "1" Difficult to open since the first end portion narrowing portion is difficult to grip
- "2" Film sheet breaks during opening from the end portion narrowing portion
- "3" Film sheet stretches and is difficult to open during opening from the end portion narrowing portion
- "4" Even though opening can be performed all at once from the end portion narrowing portion, some perforations remain (bad appearance)
- "5" Opening can be performed all at once from the end portion narrowing portion, and there is no perforation left [Take-out property (smoothness)]
- "1" The entire package is lifted during pulling out
- "2" Even when three sets are pulled out from the beginning, breaking may occur when the sanitary tissue is pulled
- "3" Taking out can be performed without breaking from the second to third set
- "4" Taking out can be performed even though there is resistance from the second to third set
- "5" Taking out can be smoothly performed from the second to third set
-
- "1" When the sanitary tissues are pulled out, no sanitary tissue stands up
- "2" When the sanitary tissues are pulled out, 50% or less of the sanitary tissues stand up.
- "3" When the height of the bundle becomes about half, some do not stand up.
- "4" Almost stand up.
- "5" Except for the first one set, the next one stands up after pulling out until the last one.
-
- "1" When the sanitary tissues are pulled out, the sanitary tissues fall into the take-out port many times
- "2" Falling was confirmed a plurality of times (three times or more) until the height of the bundle dropped to about 1/4.
- "3" Falling was confirmed once to twice until the height of the bundle dropped to about 1/4.
- "4" Only a few sheets on the bottom side of the bundle fell.
- "5" Falling was not confirmed at all.
- As shown in the results of Table 1 and Table 2, the examples of the sanitary tissue package according to the invention have an evaluation of "4" or more in each test, whereas the comparative examples have an evaluation of "1" to "3". As described above, the sanitary tissue package according to the invention is excellent in the take-out property and falling prevention of the sanitary tissues.
