Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a drain arrangement for a washbasin according to claim 1 and an arrangement with a washbasin and with the drain arrangement according to claim 15.
  • the document EP 1 754 838 A2 discloses a drain designed in particular for sanitary-sanitary components, provided with a water-collecting tank, in particular of the washbasin, sink, bidet, bathtub or the like type, and with a drain orifice with a horizontal axis.
  • the drain which can integrate an overflow channel if necessary, does not require an overflow opening on the side walls of the water collection tank of the hygienic-sanitary component.
  • the invention is based on the object of specifying a drain arrangement which overcomes the disadvantages of the prior art.
  • a particularly preferred object is to specify a drain arrangement which is of compact design.
  • a drain arrangement for a washbasin comprises a connection unit with a connection socket for connection to a drain socket of a washstand; an overflow unit which is connected to the connection unit and has a valve and an overflow pipe which bridges the valve, and a siphon unit which is connected to the overflow unit and has a siphon element.
  • the connection unit, the overflow unit and the siphon unit are operatively connected in such a way that from the Wastewater flowing out of the washbasin can be transferred from the connection unit to the overflow unit and then to the siphon unit. This means that the waste water flows through the corresponding units.
  • the connecting piece Seen in the installation position, the connecting piece runs in a first direction, which is oriented at an angle inclined downwards towards a mounting plane of the washbasin running in the vertical.
  • the connecting piece is inclined downwards with respect to the horizontal.
  • the overflow unit is offset laterally to the connecting piece in such a way that the overflow pipe extends upwards laterally next to the connecting piece. This means that the overflow pipe extends vertically upwards past the connecting piece.
  • the siphon unit is below the overflow unit.
  • Said angle is preferably less than 30°, and is more preferably between 2° and 30°.
  • the mounting level is preferably defined by a connection structure that is visible to the user, such as the wall of a bathroom or the front wall of a mounting frame.

  • the overflow unit preferably follows the second deflection section.
  • the connecting piece preferably has at least one flexible section, with at least one of the deflection sections in particular being flexible.
  • the central axes of the water-conducting areas in the overflow unit and the siphon unit preferably run essentially in a common plane, which runs parallel to the assembly plane. This has the advantage that the compactness of the drain arrangement can be further increased.
  • the overflow unit and the siphon unit preferably each have a maintenance opening closed by a cover, with the two maintenance openings being accessible from the same access direction.
