Claims (12)
- A device for cleaning a tip of a rotary kiln burner consisting of a support tube (2) having an axis X intended to pass through said burner and characterized in that the support tube (2) comprises a metal cable (3) connected at one of its ends to a scraper (4) and at the other end to a system (5) for positioning and holding the position of the scraper (4), in that the scraper (4) is articulated on the support tube (2) between a first position aligned with the axis X in the extension of the support tube (2) and a second position perpendicular to the axis X, in that the scraper has a beveled portion (42) on its profile and in that the support tube (2) is connected to a means (6) for rotating the entire device, the cleaning device being intended to be introduced into the burner until the scraper (4) exits completely from said burner on the kiln side.
- The device according to claim 1, characterized in that the support tube (2) is connected to a hammering means along the axis X.
- The device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the support tube (2) and the scraper (4) have a diameter Φ ≤73 mm.
- The device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the scraper (4) is removable and interchangeable.
- The device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the support tube (2) is removable and interchangeable.
- The device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the support tube (2) and the scraper (4) are hollow and in communication, in that the support tube is open on both sides, in that the scraper (4) comprises holes (40) in communication with the inside of said scraper and arranged on one side and that the support tube (2) and the scraper (4) are designed for compressed air to pass therethrough.
- The device according to one of the preceding claims,
characterized in that the support tube (2) and the scraper (4) are hollow and in communication, in that the support tube is open on both sides, in that the scraper (4) comprises holes (40) in communication with the inside of said scraper and arranged on one side and the support tube (2) and the scraper (4) are designed for a fluid containing a powder material to pass therethrough. - The device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the means (6) for rotating the entire device is a motorized wheel.
- A method for cleaning a rotary kiln burner characterized in that it comprises the following steps:- Inserting and placing a cleaning device according to one of the preceding claims in the burner, said cleaning device being introduced into the burner until the scraper (4) exits said burner completely on the kiln side,- positioning the scraper from the first aligned position to the second perpendicular position via the system (5) for positioning and position-holding,- holding the scraper using the system (5) for positioning and position-holding- rotating the device using the rotating means (6).
- The cleaning method according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the insertion and placement of the device is done using an actuator.
- The cleaning method according to one of claims 9 or 10,
characterized in that the device is translated along the axis X manually or by means of a motorized actuator. - The cleaning method according to one of claims 9 to 11,
characterized in that the metal cable (3) is connected at the other of its ends to a motorized winch.
